is it ever appropriate? like for a wedding or formal event? I really love these dresses, and I think that they are elegant, classic, and beautiful. i don't know if it is offensive for a white girl to wear them, or if it is appropriate, or like considered wearing a costume?

i'm a leo, and i'm with a pisces man. i fell in love with him harder then ever before, and i have had a lot of relationships. this is his first relationship and he is in his mid 20s. he told me that he loved me (and it took a looong time). it seems like to me that he doesn't though. i think he just doesn't know what love is because this is his first relationship. i am good to him, and i give him all the space that he needs without complaining, even though it makes me question whether or not he is into me. i love him, and he says that love is about giving, not about taking. i don't know how much more of this i can take though because i want his attention. : < we live an hour commute from each other, so we end up seeing each other like for a day once every two weeks. his aloofness is beginning to irritate me though. i do my own thing, and i have my own interests, but i would really like to be with someone who likes me because he likes me, and not just because there is no reason to break up with me because i am really good to him. the sex is magical. i contemplate breaking up with him though because i question whether or not this is good for my self esteem. he seems a little selfish. is it just my egotistical leo self saying that? i have been a good cat, too. i never complain about the distance, or show that it upsets me, but over time it's beginning to annoy me. i want someone to want me.

is nikishi a good road bike make?

looking for a nice all purpose entry level road bike. i will be using this bike for commuting, but also for general exercise, training, pleasure, ect. will not be using my car, and will be living in a dorm, so i can only realistically have one bike. i'm looking for a road bike or a cyclocross bike. i'm not really looking for a hybrid, but i am not closed to the idea. i've just ridden a bunch of them at bike stores, and don't really love the feel like i love the feel of the road bike.

not looking to spend a fortune, but i want what the best value is. i'm aware road bikes are expensive. this will be my first road bike. which brands should i be looking at, and also could you suggest some specific models?

i road a cannondale synapse today. it was nice. <3 i'm in love with it. it is a little expensive, but i am also looking to make an investment. want to try out as much as i can first.

i just don't understand besides the fact that they look really really cool! other then that i'm not sure why do people ride these guys? there is only one gear, and you have to ALWAYS pedal. why not just get a road bike so you can ride it all over the place and coast? and why don't they make road bikes so stylish like fixies? can you do tricks on a fixie? is that why people ride them? i'm just really curious.

recently i bought a bike. it's an electra townie. I loved it at first, and it was a good bike for me at the time i suppose. it's like a cruiser with 21 speeds and breaks. I've had this bike for about a month or two, but i think i'm going to sell it and get a new one. it is a little heavy, and i guess impractical now. i just ride it around town, but now i want something I can take on RIDES. I will also be using this bike for commuting as i really do not like to drive. so i thin i'm looking for a hybrid. something i can ride anywhere. bigger wheels, lighter frame, with a little tread on the wheels. yea!

the thing is i don't know anything about bikes. like, nothing... at all. i don't want to get screwed. i'm going to buy a used one i think maybe. i'm a student. funds are limited.

i found a cool shwinn at target, but apparently buying a bike from a department store is bad? it was too big for me anyway. the price was 299. once i was on it it was GREAT! it said it was a mountain bike, but it wasn't it was a hybrid. the wheels were really big and thin, and the frame was small and light. once i was able to get on the bike, it was wonderful!

i'm soooo excited to get a new bike. !!

they don't really look as cool as the townie, but definitely more practical. any help in what i should be looking for would be great.

I have to make a decision which school I am going to go to. My choices being Long Beach, Sacramento, or Chico state. This is for graphic design, my major.

i got accepted into sac state. trying to decide if it is the place for me.

i plan on visiting, but till then i want to find out as much as i can.

I want to move to a place with good public transport since i don't think i will have a car there, i will only have a bike.

I'm vegan, and i relate to "conscience" people.

I would like to go somewhere where there are nice farmers markets. organic grocery stores. a good place to ride my bike places.

i'm an artist and musician. my major is graphic design. i would like to go somewhere where there is a lot of music and art. especially conscience design. oh, and yoga studios.

I will probably be living on campus, but i might not be depending on the situation.

I'm a musician. I would love to go to a place where there are indie local underground bands. that's kind of important to me.

and fashion.

i kind of want to get out of the la area right now.

also if they have study abroad programs for my major idk if you guys know anything about that.

i am just a little confused. no one in my family has gone away for college and this is a big step which i haven't had much help with... i've been just winging it... i want to get out of my small suburban so cal pocket town. i want my life to change.

I had my heart set on going to san jose state. Unfortunately i was wait listed, and i have to have another option. I am living in southern california, and i want to move to northern california. i was looking foward to living in the bay area. sacramento seems like my closest option.

things i am concerned about when picking a place to stay:

farmers markets

eco concious people

is it a good place for a bike rider?

what is the public transport like?

pollution?

is it a valley?

what are the people like? are they liberal? laid back? republicans? looking for a place that is not very conservative.

is there a lot of opportunity for artists?

basically i wanted to move to the bay. now i need to find another option. what is sacramento like? looking fora laid back place with cool people.

my friend's girlfriend said the doctors told her she can't have kids. how could they know? they told my mom the same thing when she was younger, and then she got pregnant. what would cause a doctor to say that to a young woman?

i went to the store to try on emu and ugg shoes. he emus didn't have black color. the uggs did which is the color i want. however, i found that the black ones seemed a lot hotter, like they were made out of different material then the regular colors. also, the material it is made out of is not soft like the regular brown and gray color uggs. why is that? why are the black ones made out of different material? is it the same with the emus? are the black emus made out of different material then that soft suede material?

my parents love to walk my dog. i don't mind them walking him, in fact, i think it's good for them because it gets them out of the house for a walk which they wouldn't normally do. my dad insists on using the choke collar to walk him, and i know that it's bad for him. i keep asking them not to use it, and they use it anyway. I think my dad doesn't believe that it is really bad, and he thinks that i just say that because i want control or something. I don't know what to do to make them stop. I don't want a conflict with them, but I don't want them to hurt my dog. they just say, but he walks so good with it! it is really patronizing. any advice?

my parents sold a couple's house. they had a blue and gold makaw. they couldn't do anything with it because they were mobile home traveling. they gave it to my parents. The poor bird has a crappy existence you can call a life. he lives in the cage. i feel really bad for him. my parents took him to be nice. they feed him, and no one is mean to him, but i don't feel like he has a good life for a bird. my parents don't even want him. poor guy. is there anything i can do? anywhere i can donate him so that he gets a good home where he can spread his wings?
