  • When will the Audi A4 come with the TDI?

Does anyone know the status of introducing the TDI engine to the A4 Avant? What about the rumor of a new 2012 Allroad???? I have an 2003 A4 with 210,000 miles and working perfectly. I'm trying to decide how long I should wait to look for a new model.

  • Best Wii game for exercise?

I need to get back in shape! (Yeah, I know, round is a shape). I had been on a very good routine first with Wii Fit, then with Wii active. The problem is, that I wasn't having enough fun to keep on track. I've tried but did not like Fitness Trainer, Jillian Michaels and Just Dance. I'm looking for a game that can get you fit but is fun. I especially love kickboxing, step, and dance. I would like to have some strength training as well. But the most important thing is that I get a workout without thinking about it. I want to WANT to do it. Help!

  • Info about a Bell and Howell Eyemo camera?

I have recently come across a Bell & Howell Eyemo PH-330-G camera. It's in its original olive green case with several lenses and accessories. All is in very good condition. I know it is military issue. Can anyone tell me more and give me an approximation of its worth?

Also, is there a way to tell if there is still film in it without opening it?

  • Who's car has the highest mileage?

I have a 2003 A4 Avant with 182,000 miles on it. I've done nothing but maintenance on it since the day I bought it new and it still runs great! But, I have an hour-long commute and I'm starting to be anxious about how long my good luck will last.

How long would you keep this car? (I haven't had payments for three years).

What are YOUR high mileage cars?

  • Panic attacks in children?

I am a long term sufferer of severe panic attacks. With medication I have been mostly able to control them. Imagine my horror when I recognized an attack in my 8-year old son! Since this first event he has had a few more, mostly at restaurants. I had very few as a child (that I remember) and wasn't properly diagnosed until I was 30 years old. I do NOT want to medicate my son but it pains me to see him suffer as I did. More info: depression and anxiety run on my dad's side of the family. My son's twin brother has not shown any signs of the disorder.

  • When did humans start to report the year as "A.D."?

Obviously this didn't start in year 1 and it had to be done retrospectively. So, historically, when was it decided that, from now on, years would be reported relative to Christ's birth? And, yes, I know that all cultures have not adhered to this.

  • Will the Audi A4 Avant EVER come in a manual in the US?

I have a 2003 A4 Avant with 170,000 miles. Still runs great, but I wanted to trade it in for a new one, but there is no manual available. I don't want the sedan. Anyone have any insight?

  • Help identifying a tree?

We have a tree in our backyard that I've tentatively identified as a hawthorn. Its leaves are about 2-3 inches across and look a bit like maple leaves (very lobed). The thorns are huge though, about 2 inches long. It has red berries now, but I think it had white flowers in the spring. Any help or info would be appreciated.

  • What is the absolute best product to stop my cat from scratching the carpet?

I just bought an expensive wool carpet and my cat is ruining it! He's 13 and not declawed so it seems a little cruel to do it now. I tried spraying it with some stuff I bought at the local pet store, got him a new horizontal scratching area which I sprayed with catnip, and still! Now he scratches both the new scratching post and my new carpet. Help!

  • Best soccer cleats for kids?

I have 7 year old twin boys that are doing extremely well in soccer (I wish it were the same for school!). Anyway, they have been selected for an all-star team and at the same time could use some new cleats. What would you suggest for good cleats for kids? I don't won't to spend an exorbitant amount of money but I don't want to buy junk either. Any info would be appreciated!

  • Need EXPERT anatomy help!?

I came across a bone recently (retrieved from a lake) which is a small broken humerus (5-6 cm). The proximal portion is broken but the distal portion is intact. Based on some web research, I found that the bone had an unusual characteristic of a "supratrochlear foramen." This seems to be distinct to dog species, but the bone is so small! This foramen is quite distinct and not just a break in the fossa. Any suggestions on what species this bone is from? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

  • EE's...Wiring help: Clear wire codes?

I'm trying to install a pendant lighting fixture. The cables are clear (instead of black white and green) and the three wires inside are silver. I know the bare wire is the ground, but I don't know which is which of the other two. One simply has a clear cover and the other is clear with a white stripe. Which one is the hot (black) and which one is the neutral (white). I can't find this info anywhere! Help!!!!

  • Looking for the perfect bindings!?

I'm looking to replace the very old bindings on my very old Burton Supermodel. I'm a female intermediate boarder who prefers carving to tricks (cuz I'm old too). I would like a relatively stiff binding with a good angle on the highback and an upward slant on the toe; mainly because I'd rather steer with my weight than the strength (or lack thereof) in my legs. I'm willing to pay up to a mid-range price. Any and all suggests welcome!

  • How do you feel about answering/posting homework on here?

Sure, everyone needs help with homework sometimes, but at what point would you find it unethical or too supportive of laziness to answer a question? If you get help here, at what point would you consider a question to be cheating? I know I have my opinions, but I am truly curious about the consensus from the rest of the group.

  • Trying to find a "flip" sofa?

I've been looking for a very special type of couch. It looks like a regular sofa, but you can lay it flat and then raise the other side so it faces the other way. We are creating a living room with a piano on one side and a fireplace on the other and I want to be able to change the facing of the sofa this way instead of trying to move it around on a hardwood floor. I don't just want a wooden futon frame or a couch that flattens into a sofa-bed. I want it to look like a classy piece of furniture. I don't even know what search term to use to find it on Yahoo. Please HELP!
