So I applied to a place in the centre of Ottawa a couple weeks ago (busser position since it s a bar and I m 16) and I have an interview today. I was checking their facebook and it said that all candidates MUST be bilingual, I applied through Kijiji and it didn t say that so I didn t know until now.

Should I just email her and not go? Would it be a waste of time

Okay so I chose this topic for an 'ethics and accounting' project. I chose the Bernie Madoff Scandal and I have to relate it to accounting. I know that his accountant falsified his tax returns but how can I directly relate it to accounting?? It's in my head I just can't put it into words correctly.

Also I need to come up with discussion questions for after I present and I'm completely stuck I'm done with most of my presentation I just don't know what to ask.

So yesterday and today my family was out. And I lost my flipphone (yeah I know). She messaged me and called me 4 times.

My dad let me use his phone to go on pinterest and stuff and she messaged me on there all mad that I can go on pinterest but not answer her. I didn't have my phone so i didn't know!!

Is she right to be mad at me? This happens sometimes but only because of my slide phone. It's always dead because the battery is old and it doesn't work a lot of the time. What should I do?

Okay so I'm on craigslist and I see a lot of openings for dishwashers. I'm 16, a female, and have never done it before.

How hard is it? Is it frustrating? Do I use gloves?

Okay so I m babysitting for my big sister s friend who has a 3 year old son. She has a 7 hour shift and needs to me to babysit.

I ve babysat him before at his home but I was with my sister (he seemed to like her more than me). He was okay up until bedtime when he hit his head and wanted his mom.

I m babysitting him at my house, we have many movies, toys, and games. But i want tips on what I can do to get him to like me and not have him get antsy and want his mom again.

So my sister and I got into a fight and she got in trouble because my dad yelled at her for always fighting back and not listening. She 13 and I'm 15. As she was picking up her stuff she said "You know Emma, I'm really going to kill you one day." And left. What should I do? Is she serious? When she's mad I've seen her write things about killing me before.

So today my best friend went to the ER because during 6th period she literally could barely breathe. She started crying and I walked her to the nurse. Whenever I sleepover, in the morning she always has one and once I woke up and asked if she was okay and she said she didn't need any help. I didn't get her parents but I stayed up with her anyways. It happened 2 more times and now I don't know what to do. It always gets better after like (what feels like an hour) 10 minutes or so.

But I'm worried that one day it won't be better and I won't be able to live with myself if something really does happen. What should I do in these situations

(BTW she always has her inhalers with her [she has two, one typical one and a fancy one which lets out smoke] But some days it doesn't do anything for her)

Heyy all! So I'm super excited for college and I've always wanted to go to UBC. It's my dream school. I'm in grade 10 right now and for the past marking periods my grades haven't been very good. I've had an 87 avg the 1st marking period, and 85 the next, and an 88 in the one after that. I'm shooting for a 95 avg this marking period.

I volunteer a lot, I'm getting a job soon, and I have a lot of EC's. I'm not in any honors or AP (yet, but I'm taking a bunch of AP next year). I'm going to keep my grades up high next year, I'm getting a tutor.

I want to go in for psych at the Vancouver campus.

Can I get in???

Okay so my friend and I have been best friends for a while now. 12 years now? Anyways, we used to hang out all the time but then I messed up and made a mistake and we didn't talk for a while until I finally apologized. It's been like 4 months since we started talking again, but now I noticed whenever we hang out, I feel really awkward and don't know what to say.

We're supposed to hang out later today and I'm getting really anxious because I don't want her to be bored of me or something, she's really judgmental. What do I talk about? What should we do?

I live in NJ up north so there isn't any place that I wouldn't have to drive at least 20 minutes to. The places around are QuickCheck, McDonalds, KFC, Rita's, IHOP...

I'll be turning 16 in September and I really

want to start making money (and just not being in my home since my parents don't allow me to go out) What are the best chain places you know of to work at.

If you know a place which hires 15 year olds that'd be great because working during the summer would also be really nice.

Okay so I am a really anxious person, and I have never been diagnosed but if I could afford to go to a doctor I would be.

I'm a sophomore in high school (I live in this small new jersey town and if you live in new jersey you know the small towns are majorly closed minded). Anyways....the group of people are in 8th grade and it's mostly these annoying immature guys who make racist, anti Semitic jokes all the time (I'm jewish but they don't know). I have a good amount of friends during the school day and I'm sort of popular but on the bus I just get so anxious and I sit alone and don't talk to anyone. I'm embarrassed to say anything to anyone because these people are in middle school and I'm in 10th grade.

The guys are much taller than me (i'm 5'2) and at first it started with one of them sitting with me and making "conversation". But I could tell it was a joke to him because he kept talking all weird and asking questions like "yo can I get those digits?" "Wanna sleepover". I kind of ignored him and barely talked to him. Now he always says hi and I try to ignore him as best I can. But today they started talking among themselves (and some other friends who are girls) and I heard them calling me an ugly ***** and a skank. :( what do I do? I'm so scared to say anything.

Okay so I'm a sophomore in high school and I have this best friend, we live in a tiny rural town and we've been friends since pre k. Basically what happened is that my friend, she has really bad lungs, missed school for three days. My phone wasn't working during that time and I decided that I would just ask her what was wrong when she came back. (I found out from someone else that she was in the hospital) When she came back I asked her whAt happened and what was wrong but she sort of snapped at me and ignored my question.

For some reason I decided she didn't want to be friend or something and i ignored her back. The fact that I didn't check in on her when she was in the hospital didn't come to my mind as a reason for her being mad. Idk why. After two weeks a mutual friend told me the reason and when I got home, I immediately texted her a huge apology text, taking full responsibility for my actions. The only reply I got was: "ok." If you're a teen like me, u know this is text language for: I'm still pissed. She didn't talk to me the next day. It's holiday break now and idk what to do. I really don't want to lose 11 years of friendship over my stupid mistake.

So I m 15 and I ve been looking for a job, which is hard when you re not 16 and you don t want to work at McDonalds. And my dad offered to take me as an "intern" (he owns a design company, he s an inventor) and he would pay me 3 dollars an hour to do secretary work. Which I m not really going to complain, it s more money than I ll be getting until I m 16 next year. Is this a good idea? Anyone have experiences.

Okay so long story short, I volunteer at this retirement home in a town over from mine. There's a mandatory volunteer orientation and I won't know anybody there. I feel like I'll just be on my own the whole time... what do I do? I'm a sophomore in high school if that's any help.

Okay so my sister has always shown intense signs of aggression. She'd always yell and lie. When she get's mad she scream loud and throws and hits things (never people though). She is super good at drawing (she's 12 btw) and I found her drawing super disturbing images, pictures of characters brutally murdering each other, one was of a girl stepping into another girl's eye with her heel, and there was blood. She told me that it's just a character and there's nothing to it.

I made her super mad a couple days ago when I told my parents she was on Omegle. She locked herself in her room and wrote in her diary. Today my mom went in her room and read her diary and she found "horrible and extremely disturbing" writing of hurting people (specifically her family and other people). My mom said it was so bad she didn't want to tell me what she said. She told me not to pester her for my own safety. I'm super concerned. We can't afford counseling right now so what do we do?

So today I walked into my sisters room and she was on Omegle. Keep in mind she is only 12 and she tends to do stupid things. I yelled at her because she kept fighting back and she said it's not a big deal.

My mom heard and she came up asking what was wrong. I let my sister explain and she lied to her and said something about it being because she took something of mine. I told her "I'm not taking part in your lying." And then she was forced to tell her the truth. My mom didn't even yell at her or anything she just reminded her that she's not allowed on social networking and then she got mad at my sister when my sister yelled at her for not understanding or whatever.

Am I in the wrong? She called me a F**king *****. I'm just trying to protect her and after the Amanda Todd story I'm not letting her do that....

I hate the house I've been brought up in. I hate my dad so much. I'm 15 and I honestly can't wait until I graduate. My parents wonder why I want to move over 3000 miles away from home and they never think of themselves as a reason.

Ever since my birth I can remember my parents non stop screaming at me and I honestly do blame them for my constant anxiety. My dad is a sexist asshole, he never ever cleans the house himself, he calls one of his "three daughters" to do the "woman's job". And whenever I do what he asks me he finds ever ******* tiny detail in what's wrong with it. NEVER have I heard him thank me. Both parents criticize me in everything I do and it really bothers me. Am I overreacting?

So my sister (27) is taking me to Claire's to pose as my legal guardian and what not so I can get my second piercing. The thing is I play field hockey and they don't allow earrings. Problemo #2 is that my sister is staying with us for about 10 more days until she goes back to school so I can't wait till fockey is over. Any help?

So I'm really good at defense, one thing I'm not good at is driving the ball hard and far. When we do rapid fire it never reaches the goal :/

So I came over my friends house today. My mom said I can't sleep over because we're going on vacation tomorrow, so I'm just staying late. She keeps going on about how she's tired and stuff and suddenly she falls asleep. SO now I'm kind of bored rn. Is this normal?
