What does this outer dial on my watch do?
My mother-in-law to be bought me an awesome Rotary watch for Christmas, but I can't figure out what the outer dial is for. It rotates and has notches at various numbers, some of which have a red marker and the rest black. Some of the numbers are closer together, too, mainly 17-25 and 80-95. It increases in increments of 1 until 24, when it starts going up in 5s. Any ideas?
1 AnswerOther - Education9 years agoCould anyone answer a few questions I have about caring for my new rabbit?
Hi all. I just got a new bunny from a friend and I really want to give him proper care and attention, so hopefully you'll be able to help me with some questions and concerns I have:
1) At the moment he's in a cage in my room; I try to let him out as much as I can but there isn't much space at present. I'm currently "boxing" off the area with the box my new TV came in, a folded up foam bed, and the top off his cage. I need to keep him away from one corner because at the moment all my games and electronics are in it, and the TV box is next to my computer desk so he doesn't chew all the wires.
Is this sufficient, or should I try to expand the area by moving things around? I don't want to stifle him, but at the same time I need to keep him away from things in the room that could injure him.
How often should I be filling up his food dish? At the moment I have "Bunny Brunch" which consists of pellets and some various vegetables and such. I've given him a few carrots but I need to pick up some other veg for him, as well as more hay. I know pretty much -what- I should be feeding him, but the -when- is something I'm not so sure about.
He was also chewing on the bars of his cage pretty much constantly this morning. Was this just his way of telling me he wanted some time outside the cage?
Any other general bunny care tips would be appreciated, I've never had a rabbit before and want to make sure I'm providing a healthy and happy home for him.
5 AnswersOther - Pets10 years agoDoes anyone know the relatively new song about a homeless girl who becomes a prostitute?
I heard a song a few weeks ago but can't remember who it's by or what it's called. Does anyone know it? It's about a homeless girl who has to sell her body and the video is black and white. Thanks xxx

Do you think it warrants my patented happy magical puppy dance?
7 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoWhat is even the point of spamming Yahoo! Answers?
I honestly don't understand the goal of this: the only thing that will be accomplished is that the spammer will rack up a mighty number of points for answering so many questions. And then! And then! Well, nothing. Points can't buy anything or be redeemed for anything, and it's pretty obvious when someone's gotten their points through spamming so it can't be for social status.
The answers themselves will be rated down and reported so they'll generally get removed anyway, so then you're left with a largely pointless exercise.
So can anyone shed some light onto what exactly anyone gains from this?
4 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoShould I record this as my next parody song?
Back in 2009 I uploaded a video to Youtube of me singing a parody song I wrote - Hey Harry Potter (to the tune of Hey There Delilah by Plain White Ts) which can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwwHj6FAm0s
I had intended to make it a weekly series but ran out of steam a bit, but after watching Glee performing Just the Way You Are I was struck by a sudden flash of inspiration. So my question to you, the denizens of Yahoo! Answers, is this: based on these lyrics, do you think that this is funny enough to warrant making it episode two of my parody series?
Not the Best by Far (to the tune of Bruno Mars' Just the Way You Are)
Oh, her eyes, her eyes, are as dull as death and twice as frightening
Her hair, her hair, makes her look like she was struck by lightning
She's unusual, but I feel like I should stay
Yeah, I know, I know, when she turns away it does relieve me
And it's so, it's so, bad I drink until I can't see
And every time she asks me do I look okay I say
When I see your face, I think you've got some kind of mange
You look like you're crazing, you're not the best by far
And when you smile, the whole world screams and runs for a mile
And you look like you're crazing, you're not the best by far
Her lips, her lips, are as wet as the falls of Niagara
Her laugh, her laugh, made me need a life's supply of viagra
She's unusual, and I tell her every day
Oh you know you know you know if you were out on the range
They'd probably just shoot you and that I wouldn't change
So don't even bother asking if you look okay
You know I'll say
When I see your face, I wonder why it's so orange
I don't know where you're gazing, you're not the best by far
And when you smile, the club you've wanted in for a while
Gives you a hazing, you're not the best by far
Comments, criticisms and suggestions are welcome. And if you like that, feel free to suggest songs I can attack next!
2 AnswersLyrics1 decade agoWhy do people constantly thumb down answers that actually fully answer the question being asked?
It's starting to annoy me when someone takes a great deal of care and effort making sure their answer is easily understandable and fully addresses the question, then see that someone's thumbed it down. Do people really have nothing better to do?
