I bought a used Air Force Talon SS that was taken apart by the previous owner, and modified a few minor things that lead to problems that I have to deal with now. I was able to return most of parts to original position or location. There is a little spacer that that fit between on one end of the main spring and the striker which I don't think it is even belong to this gun. Look carefully at the striker saw a little groove at the end like something is suppose to slide onto that groove. I used common sense removed that little spacer and push the spring onto the groove and it fit perfectly also perpendicular to the spring. I fired multiple consistent shots unlike before it fired inconsistently messed up accuracy.

The little spacer was attached to the end of the main spring could be part of the designed but I have no way to know it, therefore if any one has taken Air ForceTalon SS apart before please help me identify that part.

I have a Air Force talon ss shoot .22 cal pellet 12 in barrel. I'm wondering what is the best way to build baffles are fit inside the shroud to suppress the sound level to minimum for indoor use during winter time. For those who don't understand about "silencer law" let me tell you ATF will not regulate silencers on air gun as long the device won't fit onto a firearm. Ideas are welcome but no need to tell e it is illegal because I already knew it is 100% legal to build a silencer device for air guns.

Are air guns considered Firearm?

Federal laws stated no silencer on any firearms unless authorized to do so! What about air rifles guys. Can we put a silencer on an air rifles ?

I have about 5 cantaloup vines planted with cucumbers, cantaloup vines were the only plant that they bit off the stem - they only chose the branch had most fruits on it. They have never touched the fruits. They bit one by one off in two weeks. I live in new Hampshire. What type of animals did this?

My contractor table saw has 2hp motor first starts up caused my lights in my basement to dim and as it running seems like it has some shaking in it, I can feel in the saw table, also the basement light seems to flickering or diming out the whole time when saw is in used. Any idea what is the cause guys. I could use some advice here. By the way this motor is running on 110 volts 60 hertz.

I have an Old Laars forced hot water furnace, and it is on it ways to junk yard, so mean while i'm going to need some help to find a new one.

I don't have alot of money to replace it with a brand new high efficiency furnace at this time yet. However I would like to get a back up one just in case this main one fail me!

I have a couple alternative furnace in mind. Pellet stoves, and direct vents type of furnaces. Have any of you had one of this type in your home right now, and how are they doing? Will I save some money this way?

I just bought this house during the summer, winter is coming so I started my furnace today and found out soon it started the "loud howling" noise is there and stopped when it reached its pressure or completed it cycled, and it will repeat like that all day long, but it works fine. Laars authorized service tech came out and he isn't sure what caused it, he thinks there is some restriction in heat exchanger coil, and recommend to flush the exchanger with chemical to remove "gunks" out of copper pipe. However there is no GUARRANTTEE! Have anyone experienced this type of noise before?

Last year I hurt my back at work, I have been treated some improvement but not all better, so doctor said my back injury is going to be permanent injury. My lift capacity is "medium up to 60 lbs". I'm back to work 40 hours a week, however i'm still on light duty, and based on what I found out from my doctor, I think i'm going to get fired from my job. If this happen how much money will I get from workman comp? My paycheck average $1100/week (4 days) Have anyone gone through this situation yet? I could use some advise.

There is a small Cape house 2 bedrooms, and a fully finished family room down basement 1100 square feet located in Manchester NH. Decent house was built in 1960, everything seems in very good shape, except the attic is unfinished ( you know it will get so hot during summer, and real cold during winter time) to insulate that attic I estimate at least would costs me $5000 and of course I have to do it myself or much higher if I hired professional. A realtor at first listed the price for $139,900 and reduced to $132,000 a few days after we looked at the house. I went to get pre-approval for the loan, and i'm qualified for it Oh closing costs is $5,000. My wife and I really like the house, we wanted to make a offer but we don't know how much to start - we just don't want to make the owner mad, or think we are not serious buyer. So please I could use a second opinion from anyone here. Please shoot me an offer price, would be very appreciate it.

About a month ago I did some job search on www.craiglist.org. I happened to turn my resume in for a position was open (exercise equipment tech) about a month later I got the email back and ask me to fill out the application online first in order to schedule a interview. So I clicked on the link was provided redirected me to a OMA management website, and ask for whole bunch of a.b.c. type of questions and ask me to turn in my credit score summary. It was convience for me because it has a link to Scoresense.com for me to sign out for the free trial. I wasn't thinking enroll in all that and then attached my the summary and sent along with the reply email. I have a bad feeling about this so I went back to the website I went on last night. It wasn't there anymore. So this guy he tricked me to sign up for free trial from Scoresense.com. How much money will you think he get for it? and will he use my personal information to apply for credit cards .??? Please help

My female yellow electric has been mouth brooding for 20 days. Today, I stripped her for a total of 17 free swimming fry ( very tiny looking fish). I placed them in a breeding net inside the aquarium and let the mother returned to her normal activity. I'm wondering when to feed the fry, and what is best food to feed them?

My female yellow lab cichlid or yellow electric cichlid gave birth on april 5, 2011. She has been mouth brooding the eggs ever since. She lives in a 55 gallons tank with other african cichlids, and i'm worry when she spits babies out other fish will eat them. I'm wondering when is the best time to strip her. Please give me some advise.

So my old heater thermostat went bad. I decided to replace it with same brand, so I bought a 200 watts Aqueon heater. Installed it no problem but it makes crazy "click" noise when it is on. At first I thought my fish spits rock against glass. I was a bit worry about the tank could be broken anytimes. But when I put my ear right on the outside of the heater, and yes it is making that noise, annoying noise. I have a 55 gallon tank right in my bedroom - 3 of mine canister filters are even more quiet than the stupid heater!

Have anyone had this problem before? How to fix it?

I have a female yellow lab cichlid was spawn yesterday. Her mouth is full of eggs, and i'm worry for her health because she won't be eating until the eggs hatched which is up to 4 weeks. Therefore she might be sick, thus I'm deciding to use Eggs tumbler. However I need some feedback from people who have experience with egg tumblers because I don't want to ruin the eggs. Please help!

My 8 months old yellow lab cichlid is about 4 inches long just spawn today. She is now holding good amount of eggs, (still don't know how many, but her jaw is wide). This is our first fry so I don't have any experience with the fry yet. What should I do now with the mother and the fry. Expert answer please.

I have a 4 inches yellow cichlid, and I believe it is a female. Today I see it anal is kinda stick out a little, the swollen area is white not red, and the fish belly is normal not fat or small. I do see a white feces string, and it is pacing up and down the tank right now. I haven't seen anything like this before. Please help

I have a few african cichlids have white poop string once in a while, but they are perfectly healthy, and eat like a hog, also very active, and very bright colorations. I did some research and found if cichlids have white poop string, and stop eating means they have internal parasites, and what about the ones with white poop string but healthy and active like other fish???? I'm confused! Are they okay? Should I feed them food with Garlic???? Expert answer please!
