  • Is there a such thing as trans-cultural?

I am stereotypically a "white American", but I feel inherently Latina.

I taught myself to be fluent in Spanish, which came naturally. I listen to their music almost exclusively, I make their food, Latin America and Mexico were my favorite vacations (despite having been all over Europe.) Now I only hang out with Latinas and date Latinos. I've been like this since I was ten years old even though my family is the opposite of Latino.

    Can someone explain this?

  • Men and married women: What do I say to this text?

I've gone out on a few dates with this guy and I really like him, But from you guys I need some BRUTAL honesty- is this an excuse? Does this seem genuine? And what do I say to this?

Background information- we're both 19 and attend college together. We have a ton in common. We've been on four dates and text all the time. We have done zero sexual things- not even kissed more than a peck. His family lives halfway across the country, so he'll be going back for a month in December once the semester ends, and coming back in January.

Here it is. (I'm so pissed.)

"Sorry I was in the cafeteria...look I like you and I enjoy spending time with you but I have too much going on right now with school, and trying to find a new job and the holidays coming up I'll be travelling a bunch so it's just really not a good time for me to get into a relationship if that makes sense."

What does this mean, and what do I say to this?

  • What does it mean when a guy wants to go to lunch regularly with you, one on one?

Hey guys! So I met this guy at college orientation and sparks totally flew. However, I was in a (crappy but convincing) relationship and pretty soon I found out he had a girlfriend of 3 years with lots of ups and downs. That's when we stopped talking for a month when I said, "Aren't you in a relationship?"

Either way. my ex and I broke up a few days ago. It was a terrible breakup, and It killed me until I realized it was for the best. After that I decided to focus on my academics, friends, and family- some of those buddies being guys. Two days ago, when I was still pretty raw, he texted me and we went back and forth, and he asked me to lunch. I only want to be friends due to the circumstances, but I pushed myself to go because knew just going out one on one with a really high-class guy would amp up my self esteem. We totally clicked at the lunch and now he wants to go regularly, every Tuesday and Thursday, one on one.

I just want to be friends right now, but does that mean he's interested in me even though he's in a relationship? He's sweet over text too. Should I continue being his friend?

  • "Guests (between 18 and 21) must travel with a relative or guardian over the age of 25... guardian does not have to be legal." meaning?

So if I m going with a visibly unrelated friend that is 26, could that technically be considered my "guardian"? I m 18. This is for a cruise ship.

Anybody in the industry please answer!

  • Quick question for the guys?

Why do men normally date and marry skinny chicks but then play the bigger girls with more curves?

  • Fiery birth chart with a Pisces ascendant, how does this come off?

I have a Capricorn sun, and the rest of my chart is comprised entirely of Sagittarius and Aquarius. Considering I am an extremely friendly person, how do you imagine this would come off?

  • How do I get close to men?

I would consider myself an extremely friendly and outwardly confident person. I love the way I am and look, what I can accomplish, and everything in between. The problem is I don't let myself get close to guys, and the same goes for them to me. I often get left for girls less intelligent or pretty than me simply because they are more "sweet and available". I want a teammate in a partner, not a "son", so I expect a lot from a man. I get tons of attention when I go out, but it doesn't usually get past the stare and smile. Help! How do I get into a relationship with someone I like without putting him off?

  • Why do men date ugly women?

I was at Chipotle today and I couldn't help but notice. There were four couples on dates. For three of the couples, the men were exponentially more attractive than the women. There was only one couple where they were about even. On the other side of the room were big groups of absolutely gorgeous women complaining about how they can't get guys. What's up with this?

  • Can someone please decode this for me?

Okay, so I'm a high schooler. There was a guy who liked me in middle school, but I was always off with the popular guys. We have a mutual friend so we ended up sitting at a big table at lunch. I ignored him like crazy the first couple of days because I didn't think he was crazy attractive, but he was so sweet that I started to like him. He walked me to classes and was super sweet.

We talked on the phone one night, but then my crazy ex boyfriend heard about the whole affair and chatted him up. The guy told my ex that he has a girlfriend and isn't interested. Then I asked him about it and he said that I never asked. Huh, and THEN he continues to follow me a round a little, flirt with me, save me seats at lunch, walk me to class, send me texts, etc. Even his brother is a little awkward towards me.

So I have three main questions:

    1. Do guys flirt with/be super nice to/tease girls they don't like?

    2. Do guys like other girls while in relationships?

    3. If he is really trying to play me, then what do I do if I actually like him?

    Thanks guys!

  • What do foreign guys really think of suburban American girls?

I'm not talking about rednecks or girls from Beverly Hills. I mean like small town girls. Girls that ride skateboards and go to private school and have blonde hair. Like the smart American girl next door, not a partier.

Long story short, I've actually had crushes on Italian boys ever since I was 8. My mom and I decided to move to Italy to find our "roots". I don't want to fall for someone abroad that could never take me seriously because of my culture.

What should I establish with a guy to make him take me seriously? How do I deal with a guy's advances when I find him attractive? How do I not come off as just another easy blonde?

    Help!

  • Why do guys seem to only fall in love with the crazy girls?

You guys know who I'm talking about. The girl who calls him and texts him all the time, follows him around, fights with him, is never satisfied, can never live in the moment, is always manipulating someone... etc. Usually not very bright either. Always calling the guy baby, Tweeting about him. Blah blah blah.

It leaves us fun and sweet and adventurous girls thinking WTF? You lied to us all this time to end up with a girl like that?

And then, to top it all off, they are bipolar about their girlfriends and either love them or are totally upset with them. Then they complain to their friends.

What gives? Can someone bring an answer to light here?

  • How do I get rid of my dad's girlfriend?

Long story short, my dad was married to my real mom for 22 years. This girl persisted chasing him for 4 years. and she finally got him a year ago. She is the opposite of my mom. My mom is wholesome and private and sweet. This girl doesn't wear underwear, tries to get my dad to touch her nether-regions in public, and is a total skank. I went through and e-mail to her therapist claiming, "She loves doing to me what her stepmom did to her." She's taking all of dad's money, splitting dad and I apart, and kicks him out of bed every day. He already said he didn't want to get married to her, but he loves her. What do I do? She can mess with me but not my dad.
