Hi all! I'm working on an equation for a physics class that boils down to the inequality above. I can't seem to remember how to solve a problem like this. I believe you multiply by the reciprocal, but I'm not sure and I don't know what to do from there.

Any help is much appreciated.

I can set up wifi to broadcast from my macbook pro, but I want to be able to change settings and make the network invisible like when you use a wireless router. Is there a way to configure the network broadcasted from my macbook so that you can only connect to it manually?

I'm trying to help a friend with some math work, but I haven't taken the class in a while...

Last summer I was locked out of my car (at a car show ironically) on one of the hottest days of the year. I was outside in a basketball jersey for nearly 18 hours and got severe sun poisoning. The tan lines finally faded a couple months ago but today after I went swimming they were back. I wasn't wearing a shirt, but the neckline and shoulders of the jersey I was wearing LAST summer are clearly visible again. What is happening? Is my skin permanently damaged now? I've been to my dermatologist since the lines faded and he didn't mention anything.

The google account I made when I got my android phone was just something I came up with on the spot. The only thing I've ever used the account for is buying applications on the android market. To be honest I've lost the access information for the account. I tried to retrieve it without much luck.

The point is that I just got a Motorola Xoom and made a new account that I would like to replace the account on my phone with. The new account is already on my phone. If I delete the old account I'll still be able to access the apps I bought wit it from my phone, right?

I have some questions about the Motorola Xoom that I can't seem to get straight answers for. I'm considering getting one, but I need the best course of action.

First question (this may be really dumb): The un-contracted WiFi + 3g version does still have 3g right? I couldn't see why anyone would pay $200 more than the solely WiFi version for something that was only 3g capable, but who knows.

Two: Does the Xoom support flash yet? I heard that when it came out it did not, but that it would be updating soon.

So I start my freshman year at Clarion University in a couple days and I'm really excited, but I'm also a little nervous about my roommate. Most of my friends have known who there roommates are for a while and have been in contact with them, but I'm in an odd situation where I won't know who my roommate is or even if I have one until I move in. My question is how to handle my being gay. Most people don't know unless I tell them even though I don't really try to hide it. I've just been told that I don't seem gay.

Considering I might be living with some other guy for like 9 months I feel like I should tell him. It would be awkward to just be like "Hi, I'm John Doe. I'm gay but don't worry I won't watch you when you get undressed." That's a little too forward and always makes people presume things that aren't true. It's a little creepy too. He might think it's a little strange when he sees Mean Girls in my DVD rack between The Fast and the Furious series and Transformers or Captain America and Twilight posters on my wall. (Don't actually have a twilight poster but I wouldn't mind going to bed at night looking at Robert Pattinson. *sorry team Jacob*)

Pardon my ignorance, but I'm more of a mechanical person. I have a touchscreen head unit on its way to my house with 240w peak. Is it just plug and play or do I need an amp?

I'm shopping around for head units and I am noticing that almost everything supports iPod connectivity. You can plug in your iPod and scroll through your music on the unit. I have an iPod, but the majority of my media is on my HTC Thunderbolt. Are there any head units that support Android connectivity??

So I'm moving into my dorm at college next month and I have a big problem. All of the dorms on campus have WiFi, however, the one in particular that I am in is built like Fort Know with lead plated walls and the wireless doesn't actually make it into the rooms. To fix this they give each student a handy ethernet cable. Not such an issue so far. I can hook my laptop up via the ethernet cable, but EVERYTHING else I have works on wifi. My printer, my Xbox, my iPod, my Kindle, a whole slew of the apps on my phone, most of my media utilities, my DS, and it would be nice to not have to sit in the corner with my laptop tied to the wall with 3ft. of ethernet cable. Does anyone have any ideas how I can turn 1 measely ethernet cable into wireless? Can I do it if I just get a wireless router? Any help is greatle appreciated.

So I got my dad an HP mini netbook for father's day and today he came home excited with an external disc writer/reader. I checked the system requirements and everything matches up except for the processor. It recommends a 2.4GHz Intel Pentium IV processor and his Mini has a 1.66 GHz Atom processor. What would happen if he connected the drive to his netbook?

For Father's day I got my dad an HP Mini 110 and it won't connect to my house's wireless internet network. I've had it wifi tethered to my phone for the last two days just so he can use it, so at least I know it will connect to the internet. I have my laptop on my home network, so I know it's fine. The netbook will see my home network, but whenever I try to connect it starts to connect and then it just stops and says that windows cannot connect. Any ideas on what to do?

So my friend Tyler and I have been best friends for a little over four years. We're both sort of smart, but he's more book smart and I'm more application smart. Like he could design something, but I could build it. He's applying to all Ivy League schools and he'll probably get in no problem. I like smaller schools and am on a budget. We both used to have 4.0s until some things started to happen to me and school dropped on my list of priorities. Trust me, I understand the importance of education and I still pay attention in class and test very well, however I shirk some of my homework now and then so I have all like 98s and 100s on my finals even though my overal grades are in the 70s. My teachers actually have me teach their classes sometimes when they need to catch up on grading things.

Anyway, back to the point. My friend has a little bit of a god-complex. He literally says on a weekly basis that he is never wrong about anything. Ehh... that's debatable, but I let it go. What really bothers me is how critical he is of everything. He loves to talk about how stupid people are and how incompetent all of our teachers are. He jumps on every little human mistake anyone makes and demeans them relentlessly. It bothers me a lot, but I always just let it go until recently.

He treats me like I'm an idiot. If I ever need help with anything he just looks at me like I should be in the special classes. And he belittles all of my achievements. If I do well on a test it's because the teacher makes the class too easy. If I come up with a solution for something, he tries his very hardest to find a reason why it is flawed. He even belittles the things I work really hard for. I worked at my high school over the summer 8 hours a day, 5 days a week for the entire break to save up enough money to get a nice laptop for college in the fall. When I showed it to him, he bragged about how much better his was than mine. He then proceeded to tell me how much I wasted my money and how much of a hard time I'm going to have with it. I'm pretty good with computers, not as good as him of course, and I know that is crap. But whatever I still let it go.

The final straw was this. He put a request in to have his transcripts sent to colleges he was applying for about five months ago. I sent my request in 2 weeks ago and got an acceptence letter from my college 1 week ago. He was still waiting for his the day before I got my acceptance letter and he texted me about what imbeciles the people in our school's office were for not sending his transcripts. He was really mad. Then I asked him if he was sure something didn't just happen with the mail and he flipped out on me and told me that if I said it was the mail I was a complete and total dumb@ss. That was it for me. I don't know why, but I literally broke down crying for like an hour. I think it all just kind of got to me.

I've avoided him and ignored all of his texts for the past 3 weeks. I'm nt even sure he knows I'm mad at him. What I want to know is should I forgive him? Should I just go on like nothing was ever wrong? Or should I at least tell him I'm upset? I don't really think that that would particularly change anything. Or I could just keep ignoring him for a while until he realizes that his circle of friends is retreating with me? Another plan of action, and one that I am VERY adept at performing, is to go all mean girls on him and destroy his life, perhaps getting him hit by a bus in the process. What do you guys think?

I'm asking here because I like the people and while me being gay doesn't really effect this, it's a big part of my life and might explain some things. Sorry about the length.

The 100th anniversary campout in Butler PA

Hi, I'm 17 and gay and I looooove cars but it's really hard to find other gay guys who are into cars. I'm just starting to get into the gay scene and the car scene and they seem to be at odds with each other. Are there any guys on here who are gay and into cars? I want to find someone who knows the difference between a super charger and a turbo charger. Someone who can tell the difference between an S13, S14, and S15 but still likes the sound of a V8 302 through a cherry bomb exhaust. I want someone who I can talk to about the advantages and disadvantages of a KA vs. an SR20DET. Are there any gay guys out there like that?

Like how many of you would be completely devastated if someone you knew found out that this was your profile. Personally I used to come on here because I could feel confident about myself but if one of my friends found out this was mine I would be completely screwed. Right now it wouldn't really bother me because I'm sort of coming out but how many of you feel that way?
