what foods found outdoors is good for a rabbit to eat?
So far she likes eating dandelion leaves, and a few other weeds which I don't know the names. I have watched what the wild rabbits eat, but wonder if there are specific foods she should be eating.
She seems happier eating the leaves wet. She also uses a cage water bottle.
1 AnswerOther - Pets1 decade agoIs this an example of Big Government trampling our individual rights?
Judge rules family can't refuse chemo for boy.
It was bad enough when wearing helmets was made mandatory (even for bicyclists), or that we MUST wear seat belts. But Government is not done mandating what we should be free to choose for ourselves.
Is it not interesting that euthanasia is illegal while abortion is not. Why, once out of the womb, does the government think it has the right to tell us how to live our lives and determine whether we can end it when we choose?

It is sad that we no longer open our school day by saying the Pledge of Allegiance.
What say you?

If so, what particular acts has America committed that would warrant our being described in that fashion?

Is there a way that sleeping gas could be used to slowly and quietly put them to sleep and end this nightmare?

many of the people here on YA do not allow IM or Email, yet are eager to engage others with their misguided thoughts.
10 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDo you think the parolee in Oakland legally got the gun he used to kill those 3 police men and wound a fourth?
To all of the anti-gun zealots, where do you think he got that gun from?
Do you really think he could have gotten it legally?
Do you think the drug cartels get theirs legally too?
4 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoHow do you rate Clinton's gaffe on presenting Russia's Secretary of State a present with the wrong word on it?
You would think that someone would have been able to find out the correct Russian word for Re-set, wouldn't you? But leave it to the bumbling Hillary, who asked a rhetorical question, "I hope we used the right word." But then was surprised to learn that it was wrong, and that it said "over-spend."
Maybe it was a Freudian slip, since that is all the Dems have been doing lately - OVERSPENDING.
What will they do next. And the funny thing here is how much they will respond to this by pointing at Bush's lapses. Yea, but your the ones claiming CHANGE.
Looks like Hillary will be having someones head for this gaffe.
7 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoIs Obama spreading FEAR instead of hope?
The economy is in trouble.
Select Politics of Fear
Does the fear Obama has been creating with his comments caused us to be more fearful?
Is the economy in as much trouble as he claims?
Do you agree with Dick Morris' comments?
24 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDoes Clinton's recent comments about negotiations with China surprise you?
"Amnesty International and a pro-Tibet group voiced shock Friday after US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton vowed not to let human rights concerns hinder cooperation with China." . . . "'But our pressing on those issues can't interfere on the global economic crisis, the global climate change crisis and the security crisis,' Clinton told reporters in Seoul just before leaving for Beijing."
Not only was I not surprised, but fully expected her liberal ideology get in the way of sound international dialog. What did surprise me was how quickly she managed to stick her foot into her mouth. Incredible. Just one month in and another 47 left. I wonder how other Dems will respond to her misguided comment.
How about you. How do you feel about her priorities? Should we just close our eyes to the travesty of Tibet under the heel of China?
12 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIs the world going crazy?
Dutch politician Geert Wilders has made himself extremely controversial for his harsh criticism of Islam and Muslims, made in context of the Netherlands' serious problem with Islamic extremism. Now a top Dutch court has ordered that Wilders be criminally prosecuted, not for inciting violence, but for insulting as well as substantially harming the religious esteem of the Islamic worshipers.
Do you agree that his comments should cause him to be prosecuted?
9 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhat, if anything, should the government do to promote the general welfare?
In the Preamble of the Constitution, it states, "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
In what ways do you feel this ought to be done
3 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoWhat limits on freedom are essential to maintaining life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?
A lot of people seem to think that limits on freedom is repressive. However, yelling that there is a fire in a theater when there is not a fire is a valid limit on the freedom of speech. What other limits do you think are essential?
7 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoDoes this sound familiar?
Does this seem like what is happening today?
1. Debt liquidation and distress selling
2. Contraction of the money supply as bank loans are paid off
3. A fall in the level of asset prices
4. A still greater fall in the net worth of business, precipitating
bankruptcies
5. A fall in profits
6. A reduction in output, in trade and in employment.
7. Pessimism and loss of confidence
8. Hoarding of money
9. A fall in nominal interest rates and a rise in deflation adjusted
interest rates.
It should, this is what happened in 1929, just as it is today.
6 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoShould elections be changed?
Presently, the two main parties have primaries, which ultimately lead to a front-runner, who becomes that party's candidate.
Instead, let all candidates remain on the general ballot, and let the people chose which individual should be elected.
I don't support Ron Paul, but he has a case about his campaign lacking press coverage.
Other candidates could have presented a challenge to the front-runners. Clinton might have won.

5 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWould this work? Store excess rainfall for fighting droughts and wild fires.?
Build huge underground tanks with interconnecting tunnels that fill with excess rain water, and then is pumped out to keep the region wet. The water could also be pumped around the country to areas having droughts and wildfires.
The tanks could be put under streets or under vacant lots. It would be a large undertaking, employing many of the nation's unemployed.

8 AnswersGreen Living1 decade agoDo you think changing the term of President to six years is a good idea?
In this last election, Obama used 2 years to run for President. If he runs for reelection, he might use another two years to do that.
Is it better to have a President for 6 years so that half of their term is not wasted on being reelected?
