To make a long story short I was in a small parking lot backing out with my 2011 Grand Caravan when I struck a 1996 Grand Am. We were both backing out of our stalls at around the same time but the Grand Am was further out then I was. There was not a lot of damages to my car. My Rear driver's side bumper was scratched in a few places and her vehicle's real driver's side quarter panel near the bumper showed signs of paint rub off from my tail light. Only two very minor paint lines on her car and two minor black marks from my bumper was all that was visible on her car. NO DENTS on either vehicle. She contacted the police and the officer told us both that we were both at fault and not at fault since there were no witnesses and it was just a he said she said thing we should just let our insurances duke it out. He gave us a damage report that basically said both vehicles were backing out at the same time and that my vehicle hit hers after she stopped backing up. She indicated that she saw me pulling out and she stopped mid back out and tried to honk but her horn didn't work. Anyway, I just got a call from my insurance company and they said that I will be 100% at fault because she stopped first and I kept going and hit her. I think that this should have been a 50/50 thing but my insurance adjuster was a A** and basically took her word over mine telling me he couldn't prove that she was lying or not lying so they have to accept liability. The insurance has not gone out to her to assess damages yet but my ins. will go up if they have to pay out more than 800 dollars. I was wondering if 4 marks (not scratches down to the metal) and no dents would be over 800. Her car is 17 years old! Would they have to remove and/or replace the quarter panel for a few paint transfers?

My cousin is getting married this August and she just sent out "hold the date" postcards to everyone. I guess the official invites will probably go out 6 weeks before the wedding. Anyway, my two sisters got one and my parents got one but I didn't. A bit of back story-She was never close to any of us growing up at all. I think we all saw her a total of 10 times and the last time we saw her was 3 years ago! There is no bad feelings or anything like that, we just never got together. Her parents divorced when she was two and since she lived with her mother it was hard to see her on every holiday or birthday (my dad and her dad are brothers). So, there really isn't a reason to why she wouldn't invite me but invite my sisters and parents. I am just confused and a bit hurt because I wasn't included. I feel like there is really nothing I can do about it since asking her about it would be rude. If it is true and she really doesn't want me there and it wasn't just a mistake, should I be upset with my sisters or parents for going when she clearly skipped me. I am way confused here!

My son is 12 years old and his "best friend" just recently seems like he wants to not be friends with him anymore. This boy has been being mean to him and making fun of him in gym class with the other kids lately. This morning his mother and him came over to our house to drop off some stuff. My son was not home at the time they came over. Anyway, this boy told me right in front of my face that my son was boring. He said it and then made a little smirk. I got very angry but just thanked them for coming over and closed the door. Now I am sitting here thinking of what I should do. My son is very sensitive and doesn't have a ton of friends so I don't want to make it worse for him yet I don't want this boy to get away with saying those things about my son especially right in front of me! I am friends with his mother and we have gone over to their home for barbeque etc. but now I don't know what I can say without making my son's feelings get further hurt.

This add was aired during Survivor finally and showed gay man from every walks of life and even Woody from Toy Story saying "It will get better, partner". The add was suppose to be about bullying which is a very bad thing but showcasing gay man and their life style was very inappropriate and disturbing.

I just found out that I am having a baby girl. We have 3 sons so this is a big surprise and my husband and I are very happy since this is our last child. My sister has a daughter and a son. when I told her of our good news she seemed upset. I called my mother and told her that my sister didn't seem very happy and my mother told me that she was jealous that we were having a girl so her daughter would not be the only granddaughter in the family. I can't believe this. I am unsure what to do with this information or what to say to my sister. Also, to top it all off my mother told me over the phone that she had some outfits for our daughter and she wasn't going to give them to us until about a few weeks before she is due (April) "just in case" something might happen. What does that mean??? I am confused and really need some good advice thanks!

I went to see my OB today (17 weeks pg) and she asked me if I wanted to know the sex of my baby. She did an ultrasound on a pretty old machine so the baby wasn't supper clear. The doctor and nurse that were in the room both told me that they couldn't see a penis so they were leaning towards a girl but told me not to get rid of my third sons baby clothes just yet. I am now really confused. I know that a girl is more then the absence of a penis but I would think that my doctor who specializes in high risk pregnancies and has been practicing for a long time wouldn't say anything unless she was pretty sure.

My uncle and aunt (at the time-1979) were only married for about 2 years and they had a daughter. When they divorced my sister and I still saw our cousin on a regular basis till I was 6 years old. They had a very bad divorce and my ex-aunt dragged my uncle to court all the time accusing him of horrible things like abusing his daughter. He eventually decided since he had no more money to fight her in court to sign off on her and let her new step dad legally adopt her. This all happened over the course of 6 years. Now after not seeing my cousin in 25 years my mother found were she is living and that she is married. Do I have the right to contact her or should I leave that up to my uncle. I am worried that she might go nuts on him after having heard for 25 years that he was a complete psycho and abused her. What should I do?

I have a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan that is at about 92,000 miles. We purchased the 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty on it but I am unsure what is going wrong with the car. About two months ago I took the car in to get the breaks fixed and they also replaced the break fluid and said that the transmission fluid need to also be changed along with the Serpentine belt. My husband did not want them to touch the belt or the transmission fluid and replaced the belt himself and that we didn't need to flush the trans fluid because it still looked okay (red in color). He replaced the belt with one bought at Napa auto parts and he couldn't really fit it on properly at first but finally got it to fit and said it was a tight fit. So since then you can still hear the belt squealing and now the ABS light is on and doesn't turn off. The main problem is that I have noticed the engine revving loudly at a stop sign or traffic light. It sounds like it is really overworking. Please help!

I was due for my period on April 7th and two weeks later found out from an at home test that I was pregnant. Three days later I miscarried. My doctor said that they found a Cyst on my right ovary and it probably was a Corpus Luteum cyst (functional cyst) and could go away on it's own. In may I had a normal period exactly 30 days after I miscarried. Now, I am four days past due for my period this month (june) and I have no systems of pregnancy or that I am getting my period. No cramps or sore boobs etc. I was wondering if a functional cyst can stop you from getting your period or if it can make your body think it is pregnant by continuing to produce hormones. Can a cyst produce hcg? And another question is if a cyst can produce hcg and trick your body into thinking it is pregnant then maybe I was never pregnant in April. On the April ultrasound they didn't find anything not even a gestational sac. (Chemical pregnancy) help me!!!! I am desparate to become pregnant!

I met my friend back in 2001 and we were work friends for about 3 years till my husband and I moved out of state. She told me last year that she is getting married to the guy I sent her up with before we left. She asked me to stand up in the wedding and at the time I said yes. Now we have not spoken for a very long time and the only time she does contact me is through e-mail and it is only when she has wedding info. I bought my bridesmaids dress for $140.00 and she dropped it off at my sisters house for me to pick up when I come to visit my sister which is about once every other month. I have tried to contact her and talk with her but she never returns my calls because she says she is too busy. I am wondering if It would be wrong of me to tell her I don't want to be in her wedding maybe, just invited to the wedding as a guest. I know for a fact that after the wedding and after I have spent probably over $100.oo in gifts that we will never talk again. What should I do?

My last period began March 8th 2007 and I tested positive on April 13th. I found an OB and she took my blood to check the HCG level and scheduled an ultrasound because I have been having period like cramping for two nights in a row. I am not doubled over in pain and no bleeding. The blood test came back at only 129 which she said was an idication that I may miscarry since I should be in the thousands by now. The ultra sound came back and I never saw it but the OB said that it only shows thickening of the wall but no baby. I am pregnant but my OB said that if I don't start doubling the hormone "the baby will be dead" those were her exact words! I am upset and scared and I was wondering if anyone else had this happen to them and if they still had a successful pregnancy. I may be just too early to tell. I still have no bleeding and the cramps have stoped for now.
