So I just moved into a new apartment and I have Comcast Internet with a Motorola SB6121 Modem and a Linksys E2500 Router, both brand new.

Internet worked fine at first, after a couple days started kicking in and out randomly. On every computer(I have 3), my Xbox, and my iPad whether they are wired or wireless. Sometimes every 5 mins goes out sometimes only 2-3 times a day.

The two errors I am getting:

'DNS Lookup Failed' & 'Server Timed Out'

Things I have tried:

--Internet goes down, connected laptop straight to modem, same problem (makes me suspect the modem)

--Comcast came out and replaced the cable in my wall to now rg6 (there was a split in the wire on the outside and water was getting into it)

--Power cycled my router and my modem

--Went into command prompt and ran ipconfig /flushdns on every computer

--Ran Malwarebytes, Spybot, and AVG

--Replaced Ethernet cord coming from modem to router

--Reset all my routers settings

--Tried setting my IPV4 to Google's DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

I have no idea what else to try and I am thinking about returning the modem and seeing if that fixes it. Is there anything else I am missing that I can try?

Oh and 2 computers running Windows 7(1 Ultimate & 1 Professional), 1 computer running Windows Vista

Also, my internet says I am still connected but then when I try do go online I get those errors. Besides on XBL that just says I am disconnected from XBL.

My league allows 1 keeper and I am debating between Andre and Mendenhall

Who should I keep and why?

My thoughts: Andre is only good WR on Houston so teams can dbl team him and he might get less fantasy points; and Andre got less overall points than Mendenhall last year

I was wondering what exact date did it stop? Or a rough estimate, I googled but I cant find when it actually stopped

So today I was working on my computer and I realized that I couldn't click any desktop icons or right click on my desktop but I could go into the start menu. This problem went away by restarting my computer but I am wondering what the cause of this might be?

Could it be my CPU overheating?

I have to write a paper about it and I have to define the major ethical issues and the only ones I can think of is child labor laws, low pay, exploitation....? and I dont know any others

So far I have been starting mendenhall and williams but Best has been killing me on the bench and philly has been looking better than min so far. Williams just isnt getting carries because they have been behind and bradshaw has been getting more yards each week and TEN did stuff mendenhall but NYG have a better passing game so they wont be able to stack the box. And TB stuffed williams and stewart last week and I think CAR has a better passing team than PIT right now especially if dixon is out

So IDK I was thinking maybe Bradshaw and Best? but its up in the air

I am having some trouble using remote desktop....both my laptop and my desktop have windows 7 on them and I could successfully remote while at home but I just went to my in-laws and cannot remote in anymore.

I opened up so everyone can connect not just people on the network. I have the correct IP address and the computer is on, not asleep or hibernating

Floyd vs KC or Nicks vs Car

My thinking is Floyd because he is playing a weaker team and he is SD #1 WR and they have to throw to someone BUT if they get up early because playing crappy team they will run with matthews a lot to get them rookie legs going

I just got a new kitty a week ago and they are getting along fine but the cats eats the kitty food and the kitty eats the cat food...I dont know what to do about this because I try to pick them up and switch it they just go back and I tried putting it in separate rooms but no luck.

I dont know how much of a problem this is, health wise for them and what can I do to stop it.

As for now I have been only giving out kitty food because I figured it would be better for the cat to eat kitty food and force the kitty to eat it by only having kitty food out than having the kitty eat cat food

Might be a stupid question but I just built a new computer and I got a new monitor and it looks like the screen is overstretched. Like icons are cut off on the side and the windows button in th corner is only half there. I have tried adjusting the screen resolution but doesn't help.

When I built it over at my buddies place I installed windows and everything with his monitor and it looked fine but now on my monitor (HANNspree HF229H 22IN) it looks overstretched so that makes me think it is the monitor.

Also at my buddies it was plugged in with a dvi cable and with my monitor I am plugging it in with hdmi cable. Any ideas?

I know usually it is cheaper than buying something, especially on an everyday basis. But how much do you think it costs, on an everyday basis to bring a lunch?

I only ask because where I work I can get a good sized salad in the cafeteria and put whatever I want in it for around $5. And it fills me up and drinks is not a problem because I only drink water and tea and only water at work.

So is it cheaper to go the salad way or would 2 pieces of bread, some meat, some mayo, a banana, and a granola bar be cheaper than 5 dollars a day? (I would mix it up but it would basically be sandwich, fruit, and something else)

So I need to know if I should accept one of both of these and please look at my team b4 you make a decision

I am in college for information systems now and I love computers but I wasn't a computer guy in High School so I think I started behind most people that get a degree in it. What I have been learning in college is mostly programming, data mining, and systems analysis and design....But nothing hardware, I am taking courses in database, programming, systems analysis design, and telecommunications next semester

like I want to build my own computer this summer to get to know hardware more and I know some about it but not much. I was thinking about getting a PC magazine like MaximumPC or PC World but I dont know which one would be better.

Besides getting a PC magazine, what else should I do to learn more about computers because I wanna learn more than my college is teaching me!

Also, what PC magazine should I get?

So I have been having chest pain pretty much everyday for about almost a month now....when it first started it was really bad and I went to the ER and they checked everything said no heart attack everything looked normal, they thought maybe heartburn and prescribed me prilosec OTC...I took it everyday and it kind of helped but it was still there.

Since then I have been trying various things for heartburn, and some tums after I eat and it wont go away

Some extra things you might need to know:

it happens anytime during the day and lasts for a while

it happens right away in the mourning before I eat anything and I dont eat before I go to bed

no shortness of breath ( that i realize)

doesnt get worse with exercise

doesnt get worse with different types of food

I know I SHOULD go to the doc but I dont have time till the second week in may, like literally NO TIME, and I already made an appointment
