  • Electron Configuration Exceptions?

    I am taking chem.12 and I have a test in a couple days, and one of the topics is electron configurations including cations and anions.

    It is all pretty straight forward, but she told me that there were 6 or 7 exceptions to the rule that I should be aware of.

    So fare I only know of 5;

    -Chromium and molybdenum

    -Copper, Silver, and Gold

    Which other ones am I missing? I could not find anything in my textbook, nor online

  • My Betta doesn't accept new foods Help?

    Any idea's on how I can improve my Betta's diet? it seems that he is extremely picky with what I feed him, he will put a lot of the foods I try to feed into his mouth, and then spit it out.

    Currently my Betta is eating and only eating high quality food pellets, and he eats them hungrily too, but whenever I try to feed other foods such as blood worms or brine shrimp or other pellet food he simply put it in his mouth and spits it back out.

    He runs in a nice 10 gallon tank (I'd like to think so anyway) with an air stone, gravel, fake plants, heater, water filter, a nice decorative piece he likes to hide behind and some other decor. Water Ph is fine, algae is under control with cleaning and some zebra snails, I really don't know what to do to convince him to eat other foods. Any ideas?

    Does he even need to eat other foods? Or are simply just the pellets good enough?
