Livin' in Lala Land

The show was set in Tuckahoe, NY, according to the records. However where is the location of the actual house shown as the exterior for the Maude series in the opening and closing credits for this sitcom?

In the Conrad Murray case, the judge sometimes quotes numbers like "350" in response to the prosecution or defense attorneys. Sometimes he just says the number at any point, but sometimes it is in response to an objection from one of the parties. What are those numbers?

I understand that when military medals are granted to a military member, when that person passes away in later life then the descendants of that person can/will inherit the medal(s), and may generally wear them.

But what about Heads of State/Royalty in respect of Orders & Decorations granted to them by foreign countries. Are such Orders & Decorations:

- something that can be given to a descendant in the will and can then be worn by that descendant,

- something that must be returned to the original country that issued it, or

- something that just has to be kept in a box/museum because it can no longer be worn?

As a kid in South Africa in the 1970s, I remember two of the ice-creams that one could purchase were Eskimo Pie and Davy Crockett. Eskimo Pie is still around, but not the Davy Crockett ice cream. Can anyone remember/describe a Davy Crockett ice cream for me.

I often see cars parked/broken-down (perhaps abandoned) next to the road on CA freeways. Some of them have a note or slip of paper stuck on the back window, or attached to the aerial. It is usually luminous pink or yellow in color. What are these things? A note from the police, a traffic ticket, or just a note from the driver? Often wondered, but just too dangerous to stop and look.

If one lives and works for lets say 30 or 40 years in California, and decides to retire to/in another state, will income like pension, annuities, etc still be taxed in CA (on any post-retirement income), or would the person only be subject to taxes in the (new) state of residence?

Now 1am, and sitting watching the TV with the nightly problem of how to get to sleep. Rarely able to fall asleep before 1am, and usually only occurs at 2am. I always wake up at about 6.30am or 7am. Obviously late afternoon I feel exhausted, but no matter what, I can't get to sleep until 1am again. Weekends I then sleep for 12/14 hours per night. I am male, early 40's, and pretty healthy. I don't drink coffee, and try to eat latest at 9pm. Any ideas for breaking this routine/problem?
