  • How long to wait until I email them?

Today I went to an adoption fair hoping to get a cat. Unfortunately none of the cats there fit in with my lifestyle for many reasons, and they told me they knew someone who had more than 10 in a tiny condo, all of which are exactly what I'm looking for (I'm only getting one), and they will email me with photos soon. I hate to sound impatient, but how long should I wait until I email them just in case they don't email me first?

  • Is it just me who thinks this?

Every time you hear about a dog attack or killing, witnesses ALWAYS say "it happened without warning" blah blah blah. I actually have a hard time believing this, because the VAST majority of the time dogs DO give warnings in the form of stress signals, sometimes months before, but their idiot owners don't see it. Does anyone else think the same way?

  • Wouldn't this cause a problem?

I went to a pet expo with my mobility assistance dog (i'm in a wheelchair and do need one); I had to sign a release form, and they required proof of the rabies vaccine. I had no problem with this since I did have proof on me, but one of the people handling the paperwork took one look at his vest, said "oh service dog, never mind" and let me in. With the increase in fake service dogs, wouldn't that cause a problem? What if someone had a fake service dog, and didn't vaccinate their dog?
