When I was seven, my mum and dad told me that my dad wasn't actually my biological dad. They split up after they had my brother and sister and my mum had me with another man, but my dad decided to bring me up as his own anyway along with my brother and sister, who are biologically his. When they told me, I didn't resent my mum and I still viewmy dad as 100% mine even if he isn't my blood, because he's the one who's brought me up and loved me and never treated me any different from my brother and sister. I'm 16 now and I absolutely adore him, but recently I've been thinking a lot about meeting my biological father. My mum and dad have both said it's absolutely fine if I want to meet him, but I feel if I did I'd be letting my dad down. I don't want a relationship with him, I'm just curious to see if we have similar qualities, if we look the same, if his children are like me, that kind of thing. I don't know if I actually want to meet him because my family is fine as it is and I love them, but it's just something I think I'd like to do before I get too old. My question is, does anyone have experience of this, and do you think it'd affect my relationship with my dad as it is now? Thank you. :)

I'm 16 and it seems that people keep taking me for granted and I'm sick of it. I bought tickets for a concert for me and two friends last year, and whilst one friend gave the money to me, the other didn't. I ended up spending £90 on her behalf that I never got back, even when I asked for it. A few days ago, I bought tickets for a different friend, who told me that she'd give me the money this week. She's now telling me she won't have it until next month. I know I was stupid to do it twice, but I really believed my friend when she told me she'd give me the money this week, because she hasn't let me down before. There's other things as well, like my sister making me do things for her constantly, doing work for other people, turning up on time and then the people I'm meeting being half an hour late. I never say anything because to be honest I'm just too nice, and I always think the best of people. Because I never complain, people think it's okay to take advantage. How do I stop this happening? I don't seem to know how, but I don't want to be like this for the rest of my life. :(

I've had a few milia (little white hard spots) under both of my eyes for a couple of years now, and though they don't really bother me I just wondered what they are caused by, and if they go away by themselves?

I love breakfast and I can't function properly unless I eat it. Every day I have two slices of wholemeal toast with low fat peanut butter, a piece of fruit and a low fat yoghurt. I've heard it's good to eat a big breakfast, but I feel as though I'm eating too much! Is this breakfast healthy?

I'm new to tampons and today is the first time I've used them. I put it in okay, but when I sit down I can feel it inside of me. I tried to take it out and replace it with a new one but it hurt too much because I haven't had it in for long enough. Any ideas as to what I can do? Thank you x

My dad is taking my 10 year old sister and I only holiday this year, and my sister loves the idea of Disneyland. I went when I was around 9 and absolutely adored it, but as I'm 15 now would I still find it enjoyable? I do like to be a big kid every now and again but am I too old to have a good time at Disneyland?

I had my ears pierced nearly 8 weeks ago and I changed the earrings last night for the first time. But the new earrings I've put in are really hurting me, and I haven't got any earrings to replace them with. Would it be okay to leave my ears without any earrings in until I buy some new ones tomorrow, or will they close up because I haven't had them pierced for long?

My best friend has depression and has been really, really down lately. I try and help the best I can, and reassure her that I'm there if she ever needs me etc. But now I'm having a few problems of my own, as there's some family stuff going on which is really getting me down. I don't expect my friend to say anything because she has her own issues to deal with it, but at a time when I really need her instead she's just stopped talking to me. She told someone the other day I was selfish, and when when I said that I had a few problems going on she said "it's just a shame that I have problems all the time." Am I being unreasonable expecting her to be there for me? I KNOW she's depressed and that my sadness is gonna go away in time, but I feel like I'm really supportive to her whenever she's upset and now it's me I'm getting nothing from her? It feels as though she thinks that she owns the right to be unhappy, or something. Am I being silly?

My blackberry curve 8520 'rebooted' itself the other day, and it restored all my deleted photos. When I try to re-delete them, it comes up with the message "The selected file is read only. Are you sure you wish to delete this file?" and it won't let me click the 'yes' button, so they won't delete. :(

It's so frustrating because I deleted the pictures because they're taking up space that could be used on other things and I have no idea how to delete them again. Any ideas?

I got my period today and the pain is awful, much worse than normal when I just get a dull ache. I feel sick, shaky, I've got a headache, and the pain in my lower stomach is just horrible :(

I took two Ibuprofen about ten minutes ago so I don't know if they're working yet, but is there anything else I can do? It's just gone 11pm here so I can't go to the shop, and my family are sleeping. We've just moved so my hot water bottle is packed up somewhere. Anybody have any natural remedies or will I have to stick it out until the morning when I can get some pain relief from the shop?

I'm giving my mum my old iPod because I've just got a new one for my birthday. But how do I delete all the songs from it? I know I'd just have to plug it into my computer, delete all the songs from iTunes and then sync it, but I want to keep all the songs in my iTunes because I want to sync them to my new iPod.

Is there any way of deleting the songs on the old iPod without deleting the songs from my iTunes? Thanks. x

i'm writing a story. it's set in the middle of london, and the focus is on three middle/upper class teenage girls, just going about their day to day lives and getting into typical, teenage trouble. my main character is called indiana (her mum is slightly eccentric and obsessed with all things american, hence the name) but i'm struggling to think of names for the other two girls. i don't want anything totally 'normal' like my own name (hannah), but nothing really crazy either. i was thinking madison, but since one of the girls is already named after a state, i thought a capital as well was going a bit overboard!
