I have been getting this pain in my right knee, especially when i wake up and the early hours of the day. The pain is located right below me knee cap, that softer part. It hurts when i walk, bend that leg, press on it, and walk up stairs. I play soccer but i havent picked up a knock recently. What is this and should i wrap my knee?

  • Surgery nervous?

I'm getting surgery on my navicular bone soon. It should be a short surgery that lasts around 45 mins says the doc, and i'm feeling nervous. I want to know what exactly are the risks of using anesthesia if it's used on a healthy 17 year old male? Also will i be able to wake up soon after the surgery since it's short(how long)? Will they stick something up my penis (doesn't sound comfortable at all) and my throat? Will i wake up feeling weird and not remembering anything and will i wake up with a tube down my throat and my private or will i just have an iv pack in my arm?will i be able to choose local, regional, anesthesia? I'm actually really nervous, and I'm guessing it's normal since i never got surgery before. It's not the fact that they're cutting me open but the anesthesia and the tubes down my throat and etc. And also will i wake with a cast & will i be in a wheel chair? The surgery is on my navicular bone which is right under my ankle. THANK YOU, i have an appointment this week but i'm anxious to know now

  • injury, please help?

I rammed my shoulder onto the back of someone at my soccer game. On impact i felt my shoulder move out of place, it hurt extremely bad, my whole arm all the way down to my fingers had a numb sensation. My shoulder felt fine after 5 mins but it was sore. the back of my shoulder had a bulge & it was sore. Now a couple days passed, my shoulder still feels sore and I can feel it inflamed in the lower back of my shoulder. I've hurt my shoulder a lot the same way but this one was by far the worst. What is this? It seems more like a muscle/tissue problem since when i press down on the lower back shoulder's muscle I feel soreness and pain

  • Injury in my groin area?

Today at soccer practice I slipped on the wet grass & my left leg extended far really fast & my right leg stayed. When my leg stretched out that far, I immoedieatly felt pain in my groin area, more like inside of my upper thigh, but it's still in that area. It hurt but not too much so I continued to practice, when I got home & relaxed, I stood up & that area hurt a lot when ever I tried moving. I don't really feel it when I play but after I relax & then try moving or if I stretch that area, I feel pain. What could this be, I'm thinking a muscle strain? What should I do about it?

Oh & btw it has nothing to do with me not stretching, I stretch. It also hurts if I squeeze my thighs together.

  • Nike premier boot/cleat question?

So the Nike Premiers, they really caught my attention since I prefer classic looking boots than something like the Mercurials. Are they any good? What are the pros and cons? I've been using Tiempos my whole life, & love them. But I might be switching to the Premier since I hear they're similar to the tiempos but lighter & they cost almost half the price of Tiempos. I also love the real classic look on them.

  • Question for Ronaldo fans?

Ronaldo fans, do all of you actually believe Ronaldo is the best player? Or are there any who came to there senses and know Ronaldo is no where near Messi. It seems like all of you are just fanboys who know nothing about the sport & just nut ride Ronaldo. He's a great player but no where near Messi. Btw, I'm not a Messi fanboy, he's not even my favorite player, Ibrahimovic is. There's nothing wrong with liking Ronaldo (I actually like what he done/does) but when you say he's better than Messi, you sound like an ignorant fanboy to almost everyone who actually knows about the sport.

  • Basketball fans, did you notice this?

I'm an avid soccer player, I play club & highschool. Been playing my whole life. But I do watch a little basketball & it's my second favorite sport. Okay so, when you think of the 2 greatest playmakers of this generation, most people would think Kobe Bryant & Steve Nash, & Steve Nash goes down as one of the greatest if not the greatest passer in history, correct me if I'm wrong. But you know what these two guys have in common, they both gew up playing soccer & they still follow/play it & to be a great soccer player you need vision & playmaking ability which these guys are great at. So my question is do you think these guys would be as good as they are in basketball if they wern't introduced to soccer, & what do you guys think of soccer? Also Dirk played & still plays soccer. He's also a great player.

  • Question about a broken nose?

I broke my nose a few months ago at my game, the bridge is a little pushed to my left. It's not noticable until you actually observe my nose or touch it. Even if it was noticable I still wouldn't plan on getting it alligned but my question is would my nose, being out of place, affect me?Should I see a doctor? Get it alligned? Or could I leave it as it is.  Also if I do get it alligned what exactly do they do in the procedure? & Will my nose still hurt for a bit after they allign it?

  • Pledge of allegiance in school?

Do we have to stand for the pledge of alliegence in high school? Could you just stay seated quietly while the pledge is on? How woukd you react if you were sitting quietly durring the pledge & the teacher tried to get you to stand? Don't bother to reply with 'show some respect', I couldn't care less about showing respect to a piece of cotton.

  • Knee pain/problem/injury?

I was at my soccer game today & I went in for a tackle, & the guy stuck his other leg out causing my knee to hit his thigh & hyper extend, it was painfull but tollerable, so I continued playing untill half time then I told my coach to sub me out. When I hurt it I felt a sharp pain in the back side of my knee & now I get a throbbing pain while it feels swollen inside it but it's not visible, atleast to me it isn't. It also hurts when I try to lay my leg flat. I can walk, but the back of my knee feels really uncomfortable when I do, not necessarily painfull, I also sometimes hear popping (not bones cracking) & feel popping in my knee while walking.

Btw, I've been getting a pain in the back of the same knee (left) while I play for a few weeks, not all the time though. Now it's starting to worry me since it got pretty bad this time & your knee is the last place you want to injure if you're a soccer player. What could this be?

  • Ralph lauren clothing?

I ordered a vintage Ralph Lauren button down long sleeve shirt, it's 100% cotton. Will it still shrink? I own some Ralph Lauren shirts & they do shrink a little bit but I was wondering would this one shrink since it's a vintage/classic shirt? I want it to shrink since there was only a medium left & it turned out to be a little bigger than I expected & I don't really want to return it since it's one of a kind & in perfect condition, if not I'll probably give it to someone as a gift. Also does cotton shrink only once or can it shrink multiple times?

  • Clothing size question?

Would a small shirt have the same 'height' as a medium? I'm not sure what it's called in clothes terminology. I know it would have a smaller width but I'm not sure if it would be shorter as well. It's a mens button down shirt from Bellfield. If it is shorter, how much should it be shorter by?

  • Lower abdominal pain?

After my soccer game I've noticed a pain in my lower abdominal region, to be more exact it's where my lower abs meet the middle, that dent. It also hurts below it. It's only on my left side. It's this sharp pain I get when I flex my stomach or do something that involes the muscles in that region to flex, such as standing up from a laying down position or if. I don't really feel it at all when I don't use the muscles in my stomach unless I put pressure on that area.

No, it's not sore. I know how being sore feels like & it doesn't feel like this. It feels like I could have strained something. What is this? & Am I safe to play more?

Btw, I play soccer usually every day. Either with friends or with my team & today was my frist time playing after 3 days, since the weather was horrible & I picked up ankle injury, & my body felt pretty rusty since my body is use to playing daily, if this matters at all.
