Hi... When I open my Chrome Homepage I have an AVG tab that appears next to the Google search tab. Can anybody please tell me how I can how I stop this tab from appearing...?

Yahoo have once again messed around with my homepage without asking me.. I find it hard to navigate and find what i'm looking for. My notifications smybol has dissappeared. Can anybody help me please...??

I have noticed that some of the Windows updates have failed to be updated on my PC. They are marked as IMPORTANT. Is there a quickfire way to select them and retry updating them again? i.e A programme which I could easily use to repair them..?? Any help is much appreciated.. Thankyou.

Hi. Bing has been updated by mistake and I can't find it in the update section to be able to remove it. It is not showing in my download section but it keeps putting a wallpaper on my screen. It's annoying. I'm sure that there is a bit of Bing remaining somewhere but i can't find it. I even uninstalled Chrome but upon setup it seems to have found it's way back again..HELLLLP...!!!!

When I post a comment on You Tube my real name appears instead of my screen name. This happened out of the blue. I haven't been asked if I wanted to change names. It just happened for a reason I can't think of. Can anybody tell me how I can revert back to my screen name please..? I've tried but had no luck at all. Thanks.

How can I remove the Tab that keeps appearing next to the Google + Tab in the top left corner. It's rather annoying.

I have 2 light switches in my living room. They both operate the lights but either switch will operate both lights. Each switch has 3 RED (live) wires. Can I get a Dimmer switch with 3 connections to accommodate each wire. The Dimmer I wanted to use is only a standard switch that accommodates just 2 wires. UK Electricians only please.. Many thanks.

Do I need a TV Licence to watch DVD's? The only cable I am using is the Scart cable that runs from the DVD to the TV set. No aerial lead is connected so I am not receiving an outside signal. I just watch DVD's all the time and do not watch any television at all.

On start up, my Google logo has been replaced by a Google Doodle. I can't quite fathom out why it just appeared. I tried re-installing Chrome but the Doodle still remains. Can somebody tell me please how to get the Google logo back again? Thankyou.

On the top left of my Google homepage next to the Google logo I have 2 search tabs that have appeared. I want to know how to get rid of them. I have tried to just close them and they disappear but they come back every time I go into my homepage. I can't remember what I did to get them there. Can anybody help me please?

I run Google Chrome. Do I really need Internet Explorer anymore? It seems that it just takes up valuable memory. Is it safe to uninstall it and use Google Chrome as I am doing?

I have a large living room with 2 ceiling lights. 1 switch by door turns turns both lights on, while the 2nd switch by the other door turns both lights on. Can Dimmer switches be used to replace the normal switches enabling me to use them in the normal way..?? I believe the switches I have at the moment are known as 2 WAY GANG SWITCHES. Hi. I've tried to recover a file NETAPI32.dll as a notice box appears on my PC each time I stop and start it. It's annoying. I tried to recover the file using RECUVA as it seems to be a good Tool for this. I found the file but was unable to recover it as it states UNRECOVERABLE.

Can anybody suggest another option please? I would appreciate any help you can give me.

I got into what I thought was a genuine chat room. I want to unsubscribe from it as it's just rubbish!! I've asked the site management how I can do this but they are very reluctant to give me details and I can't find anything on the site on unsubscribing. The site is called FREEOLA. Every time I get my Google home page up I get an unwanted Tab next to it. It's called Babylon Search. I never wanted it and I can't get rid of it. It's not listed in my control panel so I cannot delete it. How can I delete the Tab.? Thanks.

I have a Golf game which I played on Windows 95/98. Would it be possible to play the same game on Windows 7..? It's an old game but not sure as to it's compatibility with Windows 7. Don't wanna put the CD in to find out until i'm sure it's ok. Any help welcome. Thankyou.
