My son's father has been mentioning to mutual friends that he is wanting to terminate his rights to my son. We are under court order for child support, and have a hearing tomorrow where he is being charged with failure to comply with a court order for said child support, now that he is almost $1,700 behind. I went back in February and had a consultation with a lawyer to terminate his rights, but that is no longer a financial option for me because he insisted that I pay to terminate his rights and I can't afford to. With us having a court order for child support and him being delinquent in that, can he file to terminate his own rights to avoid paying child support?

How likely is it that a Postage Paid envelope can travel from Dallas, North Carolina to Salt Lake City, Utah from Monday morning to Monday afternoon? Thanks.

The father of my child purchased and used the Identigene Paternity test on our son and included my son's name on the envelope. We both live in NC, he sent the test off on a Monday and CLAIMED to get results on the following Thursday (The test was being sent to Salt Lake City, Utah and said results would be available 3-5 days after arrival). He refused to give me a copy of the test results and claimed our son was not his. Is there anyway if I call the Identigene company that they will give me a copy of the results or at least verify that he sent the samples in? Thanks.

I was wondering if it's possible to miscarry in the second trimester (Like...16 week point) and not know it. Can you miscarry and not bleed, cramp, etc? I just feel odd for some reason and I'm still having pregnancy symptoms. My boobs are still leaking colostrum and they still HURT, so my friend assured me I didn't miscarry but still...Thanks in advance, I know I need to relax but I'll relax after I see some answers.

I'm 16 weeks, my next appointment is the 21st (IT's supposed to be my 16 week appointment, I'll be 17 weeks then but it's the soonest they could work me in) and I'm just terrified of something being wrong. I keep thinking miscarriage in the back of my head even though I'm not spotting, bleeding, no cramping, nothing. Did anyone else experience this?

My partner signed up for college courses without informing me, and now it's conflicting our schedules between my work, and his. More importantly, it's conflicting with my first doctors appointment tomorrow.

As some of you may have been following, I took 5 of the $1 each Dollar General tests, and all were positive. I showed them to a CNA since the intensity of the lines didn't change even up until this point and she agreed I'm pregnant.

I made this appointment Wednesday and could only get it for tomorrow, Monday at 10AM. It took a while to get worked in. He has to be at school at 8AM and we have one vehicle. My mother has been down his throat saying I need to go to the doctor and he needs to get over himself.

He says that the cheap tests aren't as good as the expensive because as he says, "That's like saying an old piece of crap car is as good as a Rolls Royce"

How can I explain to him that these tests are JUST as good, and that this doctors appointment is essential?

*I have offered to drop him off at school and he refuses, says it's a waste of gas*

I've been having some things that I'm not sure are normal. I'm going to ask the doctor about it tomorrow as I've made a list, but I figured I'd get some insight from experienced moms and pregnant women. I'm going to include what I know as normal and abnormal.

*Back pops constantly on it's own. Doesn't hurt, but I notice it.

*Nausea.

*Hip pain (I have previously injured my hip but it has gotten worse.)

*Diarrhea.

*Craving salt.

*Incredibly sore nipples.

I do have IBS so it could explain the diarrhea, but the food I've been eating doesn't usually upset my stomach to give me diarrhea, so I'm a little stumped.

My educated guess is that I'm 6-8 weeks but I could be surprised :)

Monday is my first doctors appointment to confirm the little one. I've taken 5 home pregnancy tests which were all positive, the 5th positive line being much darker than the rest. I've been having all the stereo-typical symptoms, and am excited. My question is, last year I had a depo provera shot and ever since my periods had been a little off. Since I have no set schedule for my period (I know I should have had one by now, it's been a good two to two and a half months since my last one) when will I get my first ultrasound? I saw some people say that if they had irregular periods, they had an ultrasound the same day they had their pregnancy confirmed.

If the doctor doesn't do an ultrasound Monday, would they do it if I asked? I'm just excited to see what's going on in there.

Hi ladies, on Tuesday I went to the Dollar General store after having some suspicions. I was having weird cramps that felt almost like period cramps, but by the time I usually get these cramps, my...vaginal mucus, I guess you'd call it? Begins to get bloody. Mine was not. I was having bad hip pains (But I was not shocked by this considering I injured my hip a few months ago), nausea, peeing more than should be humanly possible, and I just didn't feel right.

I bought two of the cheap $1 each tests and took the first one at roughly 1:45 PM after having been up for work since 2:30 AM. I followed directions, peed in a cup, sat the test down on a flat surface, took the dropper and put 4 drops in the hole. At first, I thought it was negative, so I finish up, get my pants on, then happen to look down, I see a faint line in the positive section. At first, I thought no way, my eyes are deceiving me, and showed my partner. He looked at the test, then the box, and covered his head up (he was in bed, 3rd shift worker). It was positive. I didn't believe it. Second test I took first thing in the morning, another faint positive, though it was a bit darker. The next day, I bought 3 more of the same tests and the positive lines gradually increased until the last one, test 5, which was relatively dark. On the box it says "Intensity of line may vary" which has me wondering...I've been nauseated for the last 5 days now among other things, and have a Doctor's appointment for Monday for a pregnancy test. I still show no signs of period. The sensitivity of these tests are supposed to be, as it says on the box, 25.0 mIU/ml for the hCG hormone.

Am I pregnant or just getting my hopes up?

I was wondering what I should do to apply, where, how I should go about it, and how long I should wait to see if I'm approved or denied? Pretty much, any information anyone has. Thank you.

I'm looking for a hair straightener that will actually work for me. My fiance's mother bought me one for Christmas but it's less than satisfactory. I need it to heat up very well since my hair is naturally curly and thick. Right now it's in short layers so I'd prefer a 1" to a 1 1/2". Thanks in advance!

I'm wondering where I can find both back and front blank playing cards. A few friends and myself are wanting to make some personalized decks for fun and would rather not do something like use business cards/laminate, we'd really like to have the real deal size playing cards and possibly a light laminate. I've always had problems with trust, but I've been working on it. Every time I start to get jittery or upset, I take a deep breath and calm myself down. That's why I don't know if I'm over reacting or not reacting enough.

I've known my guy for well over a year and a half. We've chased each other back and forth and were finally single at the same time and decided to give it a try.

One night, we had an argument. I'm the kind of person who needs time to chill out, relax, etc before trying to work it out or I'm going to blow up and say something I'll regret. So I left after our argument, assured him I just needed a little time to myself, and went to Wal-Marts with a female friend. I was gone for three hours.

During those three hours, apparently he was talking to his ex girlfriend about getting back together and I found out the next day. As you can imagine, I was NOT happy, we argued but I forgave him and decided to let it go. We both agreed it was best for him to leave her alone, not to talk to her, because all it did was create drama (Which had proven its self PLENTY of times down to me being harassed by her and her friends). Two days later, I caught him texting her, and while I couldn't read what he had said to her (He deletes his texts after sending them), I did see that she was saying things like "I want to work it out with you but as long as you're with her" and "I love you". So I was upset, yes. I forgave him, we dropped it, he said he wouldn't do it anymore.

Then I found pictures of a naked girl on his computer, a girl he talks to often. I didn't mind, I figured they were old, just deleted them and went on my merry way. Then while we were together, the girl texted him and I happened to see he'd forgot to delete what he sent her which was "I miss you". That alarmed me, I told him I wasn't comfortable with it. He said he'd stop talking to her because of what had happened and it made me uncomfortable, plus his friends didn't like her anyway so it was good.

Then I find out that he had messaged his ex girlfriend (A different one) about 'meeting up somewhere'. I was very calm about it because this didn't bother me, but he did admit he had no intentions of telling me he was talking to her again which makes me worry.

And of course, we had an argument one night and I noticed that he added the naked girl back to his myspace, and she was his top friend. Yeah, myspace isn't a lot of reason to be upset, but I looked at hers and she had his initials on her status. That agitated me, so I asked him since he said he wouldn't talk to her any more and this was pretty incriminating, if he'd delete her. He said yes.

That was a week ago and she's still on there. He gets on myspace every day and refuses to let me do it for him because he claims he 'doesn't have time'.

Lately I've noticed he's become very possessive of me. He doesn't want me hanging out with my friends, doesn't want me to continue pursuing a job and a college education, and is even agitated if I sleep when he's awake and it's very frustrating.

I'd really like for our relationship to work, but does it sound like he's being trust worthy? I've asked several people including my mother and she says to cut my losses before something else goes wrong.

Even a neutral party, a person who is friends with both of us, says I should leave because he's being a word that I can't say here.

What should I do? I'm at the bottom of my rope and have no idea what to do anymore.

I've been dealing with an itchy scalp ever since I cut my hair. It was at 13" in a pony tail, and I cut 11" off and donated it. I was doing a 'scene' cut and went with a babydoll chelsea cut. Now, I've noticed my scalp has been insanely itchy. There is no dandruff, feels like my scalp is properly moisturized, just very itchy. There's no fleas in my house hold, no chance of lice, etc. What in the world can be wrong?

I was watching a movie and they stepped on a dude's skull and crushed it, it was pretty gorey. But that made me think, I know it's Hollywood and all, but how many pounds of pressure does it take to crack (Or smash) a human skull?

I've noticed as of lately I wake up with shortness of breath and have rapid heart beat that actually becomes painful at random times. I've been extremely tired ever since this began. I haven't experienced anymore stress than usual (Which is quite a bit), so I'm slightly concerned. Can anyone help?

Now, I've been diagnosed with anxiety and manic depressive bipolar disorder. I was on mood stabilizers and anxiety medication. The doctor warned me that if I stopped taking the anxiety medication suddenly without weening myself off I could have a severe mental breakdown. I ran out of meds, parents won't pay for me to get more, oh well. That was 2 months ago. Now I've been getting terrible headaches, horrible mood swings, and this is the newest one, homicidal urges. Most doctors only say "Call me if you have suicidal urges" but whoa, homicidal. I've been having them for a few weeks, and it seems as if it's getting harder to resist. I've already had two trips to the psych ward three years ago because the homicidal urges were even worse back then to the point I was -ready- to murder. Had it plotted out down to the very last detail. I don't know whether I'm going crazy again or it's the lack of meds. I don't know whether I should call a doctor and tell him, or just go ahead and go back to the psych ward for a little while. The reason I posted this is because I want to get help before I do something stupid. I was going to therapy and a psychaitrist once monthly each, but I quit going cause guess what, parents didn't want to pay, gotta love 'em. There's a center down here that does it for free (I think, I'd have to call and ask) so maybe I should go there? I dunno.

I want to start eating free ranch (I think that's what it's called, when they let the chickens run free during the day instead of staying in a coop) chicken eggs. Does anyone know a list of companies that do this or where I can find one? Thanks!
