I have a LS1 Pontiac Trans AM with a 4 speed automatic. I have an auto with a 3600 stall converter and a transmission cooler so I am not worried about the tranny overheating. I have some pretty mild mods and the car has put down 350rwhp and 380 ftlb of torque at the tires. My car has full suspension also and handles really well. I want to get some input from others who have raced similar vehicles on a road course. I have a friend that does road racing and says that I dont have to worry at all, but he may be biased as he really wants me to do it with him. Thanks for your input.

I have a Bradford White water heater that is about 5 to 6 years old. The issue with the water heater is that it seems to heat the water fine but there is not very much hot water. There is not really enough for two people to take back to back showers. I think there is around 15 mins max of hot water. In the past we had no issues with two or even three people taking back to back showers. I had a problem with it tripping the circuit breaker so I used a multi-meter and found that the lower heating element was not working. I replaced this and it worked fine for a while and now this issue has come about. I was thinking of replacing the upper heating element or the thermostat. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight as to how I may be able to resolve this issue. Thanks for your advice.

I live in Georgia and a couple weeks ago was on private property with some friends hiking through our property and target shooting with our firearms. A DNR (Department of Natural Resources) officer showed up and started giving us some grief. One of my buddies was hunting and was not with us, but the rest of us were just hiking and doing some target shooting. He was trying to get us for hunting without a license, which we were not and also for hunting with an AR-15 with a clip larger than 5 rounds. I am not even a hunter, but I do like to go shooting. The reason I do not hunt is that I would not eat the meat I would kill so I would not feel right killing the animal. It was obvious we were not hunting as we were not in camouflage and we were not even trying to be quite. We were about 5 or 10 acres into the center of a 150 acre tract of private land. The officer came down a private drive and started questioning us. Does he have the right to come onto private property like this? Thanks for your input.

I just got married about a year ago and my wife moved into my house. We owe 123,000 on our house and have an interest rate of 6.9 percent. We both have good credit and a household income of around 80k a year. We are not sure how long we are going to be in this home. We are thinking of either selling the home in a few years or keeping the home and renting it out. I am sure we will be in the home at least one more year. The question we are asking is should we refinance and possibly rent the home out or just stick with the interest rate we have and sell in a couple years.

Currently on my team I have four RB's, I have Fred Jackson, Pierre Thomas, Steven Jackson and Darren McFadden. I was thinking about dropping one of them to pick up Felix Jones of Dallas. He seems to be there go to back, any thoughts?

I have a stihl weedeater that will start easy and run while throttle is engaged but as soon as I let off the throttle it dies quick. I checked all the lines, fuel filter, spark plug, and even checked to make sure the spark arrestor in the muffler was not clogged. The gas mixture is correct and the carb is clean. I am kinda thinking I may need to adjust the carb, but I am always afraid of messing with carbs. Has anyone had any issues like this with there weedeater. Thanks

I have a dell Inspiron 6000 laptop that is about 4 years old. Somehow it has slowly developed a crack at the bottom left of the frame around the screen, Its not a problem with the screen itself just the shell. I was wondering if anyone has replaced this and knows where I can find replacements. I have tried to look it up online but have not had much luck. Maybe I am using the wrong terminology. If anyone could point me in the right direction and provide any pointers that would be great. I just thought of replacing my keypad also on the laptop because somehow my wife's cat pulled off the F4 button. Any info on this would be great also. My wife has a 93 civic that she drives back and fourth from work. The other day it just died on her and will not start. The car will try to turn over but will not fire. It was running fine before this happened. I was wondering how to test a fuel pump and where is the pump located on this car. I have always driven mustangs so I have no idea when it comes to her car. Also what other issues could cause this if not the fuel pump. I have checked fuses and grounds. I am going to check the distributor and plugs next. Also when I turn the ignition but dont start the car I do not hear the pump kick on as I do in my other cars. Thanks for any help.

I have a Bradford white electric water heater that keeps tripping its built in circuit(Not the main breaker at the electric panel for the whole house). I can get an electric reading on the top heating element that has the circuit switch, but no reading on the lower heating element wires. I am planning on replacing the lower heating element, should this resolve my issue or is there something I am missing?

Anyone else tired of seeing Kyle Busch whine and act like a spoiled brat. I just saw the video on nascar.com where after the race he just took off running back to his RV. I also remember the time last season where he just left the track after an accident and his crew repaired the car and Dale Junior ended up getting in and finishing the race for him. Dale Juniors car was out of the race.

My left knee has been swelling up and getting tight for a few months. I had the same problem about 3 years ago and all the doctor said was to alternate between Tylenol and advil until the swelling stops coming back.

On the weekend when I am up and walking around and pretty active its fine. It seems to only get real tight and swollen when I sit all day at my desk at work. I try getting up and stretching and walking around, but that does not seem to help. Even during the night it seems to get better. Has anyone else had any issues like this and found anything that alleviated the discomfort.

There was a story in the news about an assisted suicide ring in which a few people have been arrested. Why is it that people are not allowed to choose to commit suicide, but we allow abortions? I do not personally agree with either of the two, but why is it that a person who can make their own decision is not able have someone help them commit suicide, but a baby that is unable to decide for its self is allowed to be aborted?

In most cases the mother made the decision to lay down and spread her legs, ( I know there are other reasons like rape or incest, but I am not talking about these.) but the baby does not get to decide whether it lives or dies.

And if a grown adult who has cancer or some other illness, who did not make the decision to get sick wants to die they are unable to get any assistance to help them with this.

How come people do not see that this is not a good idea. A very large percentage of people who make over 250,000 dollars a year are small business owners and if their taxes are raised then all they are going to do is lay off employees so that their personal income is not cut.

I just saw the Jack in the Box commercial where Jack has been hit by a bus and may not make it. I started to wonder if its a hidden message that the restaurant chain itself might be in trouble financially and they are not sure if they are going to make it through the tough times. Anyone else think about that?
