  • What shoe logo is a circle with three lines in it, all starting at the bottom. The middle line is straight.?

The other lines are on the outside, start at the bottom, and go to 90 degree angles. One to the right an the other to the left.

  • How to remove chipping paint from Iron Fence?

I have an old iron fence on my back porch that I want to repaint.

It has a lot of old, chipping paint on it. I tried to hit it with some sand paper and a wire brush. It didn't really do anything and seems like it would take forever.

Are there any chemicals or mixtures i can buy / make to get it to soften up the paint. Or, preferably, to melt it off...

  • What to put for flava in a red sauce for a vegetarian?

    So, I'm Italian.

I mean, I'm American obviously, but my Heritage is mostly Italian...

I can make a killer red sauce. From scratch. I'm talking starting with crushed tomatoes, garlic cloves, spices, cheeses, etc, and ending up with some authentic sh*t... My dad taught me. He's the man.

But every time I've ever made it, I put some sort of meat in for flavor. Now, I'm not a big meat eater. I put some turkey meatballs in (made from scratch too... ya huuurrrd!) or maybe some sausage.

It makes the sauce taste sooooo much different (and better, even though I don't like meat that much...)

Well, recently I met this girl, and she's HOT. I'm talkin' about a body that is ON POINT, pretty, funny, smart (masters degree!), the works. She's a full fledged, bona fide, vegetarian, which I think is cool. I was close once, but then I lived abroad and it got hard, so I bailed on it.

Anyway, we've been on a few dates and I've mentioned my kitchen skillz. Girl can eat, and loves pasta, so I want to cook a guido-licious dinner for her on the next date.

So here's my question... How do I make a meat sauce with all the taste of that greezy goodness, but without the meat? If there any non-meat product that I can substitute to at least get the flavor?

I know that question was a lot longer than it needed to be, but, like a good red sauce, I think attention to detail is the most important part.

    Thanks,

    Bill

  • Lost Weight. Still have a Stomach!?

OK so I answer a lot of Weight Loss and Exercise questions in the Diet Section of Yahoo Q&A. But now I want to ask one.

I was about 275 Pounds about 6 years ago. Through Diet and Running, I lost a lot of weight over the course of about 3 years. I got down to about 160 lbs by eating right and working out. I have been this size for about 4 years, and of course, I am very happy.

I have NEVER shaken my gut. Some of it is skin, some is still fat. Any advice? I still eat pretty healthy and I am a MARATHON Runner. I DO go out drinking with friends, but my 40 miles a week and good diet should take care of that!!!

My question is, how to get rid of my stomach? Running daily and good diet doesn't seem to be enough.

  • Converting a Torrent with no audio?

I downloaded a bunch of movie torrents and got them converted to avi's. None of them have audio so I am pretty sure I am missing the proper codec. I search yahoo answers for peoples codec advice and downloaded some codec packs with no luck (but I just realized I haven't re-booted. I dont know if thats a problem). ANYWAY, I want to convert these to MP4 files for my iPhone anyway. If I do this in their current "no audio" state, will they stay that way or will I get Audio after I convert them? If I wont, does anyone have any more codec advice? Thanks.
