What are some recommended things to do when first starting a newly built computer?

No dial-up though and I'm going to be connecting alot of things to it (about 9.. I dont think you need that info but I dunno)

Yesterday I received cough medicine from my pharmacist (the yellow syrupy liquid that tastes horrible). The directions only say take 1 Teaspoon 4 times a day. I called my pharmacist and asked how many hours does it take for me to drink the medicine and she said once every 8 hours. I find that impossible to do because on average it would mean I would have to take it at 8:00am 4:00pm 12:00pm 10:00am. Is there any other way? Please help. I might sound like an idiot but it's been years since I last had to take medicine... I think I kinda overdosed too...

Right now I the cold or -mabye- the flu and my doctor prescribed these pills for me but I have no idea what an Ear Infection is... Is it from the cold/flu? Is it supposed to hurt because I don't feel any pain right now? What does it do?

Like how people go to Google Images and lets say type in puppy and then right clicking an image and then saving the image?

Okay so I scanned my computer for viruses with avast! and at the end it said unable to scan C:\programdata\...A2FFXTBR.MANIFEST and other stuff like that plus it was also unable to scan my sb.Recovery files either. Help me please?

About two weeks ago when I got the new I-Pod nano I put my songs from my cd's into it. Just now when I sycned my Ipod to it the songs from the cd's disappeared. Any possible reasons why?

Some people say there used to be a website called gogle so like if you wanted to go to google.com it would go to gogle which would give you viruses.

Have you ever had an alienware chat support agent either ignore your question or disconnect from you just because they didn't know the answer?

Just today I was talking to this "Rosemarie R." asking about their liquid cooling system and how to maintain it. She thought it was a stupid question and refused to answer me. Then she said she will disconnect the chat if she recieved anymore questions like that. before I could say anything else she hung up on me. How LAME can their support can get? Now i'm thinking not to get it just because of their ignorance.

Well I might build a new computer but all of my old games (with their license code already registered) are on my other computer. If I build a new one will I be able to install the game with the license code on it (that was already used) or do I have to uninstall the game form the old one and put it on the new one. if I do that will the license code be re-activated? or do I have to buy the same games all over again?
