i'm an indian living in india and a friend of mine won a scholarship to italy for a three year doctorate programme. I bought him an italian pocket dictionary as a farewell gift and i'm going to wrap it up and give it to him tomorrow. Here's the catch:

I have had the hots for him for 4 years now and he's recently broken up from his 4 year long relationship. He

knows i have a thing for him, but since he's fresh out of a relationship where she cheated on him thrice, he doesn't wanna get into anything now.

I was wondering if i should slip into the dictionary a small slip of paper with my lipstick mark on it and "just in case" written below.

i have a 10 month old gsd cross (his mom was pure gsd, his father was some unknown mangy stray). this is my first pet and i've had him for 8 months now. he's has all his vaccines and everything done. he's not neutered yet. he's been normally a very happy, bouncy pup, growing well, though extremely hyperactive but NEVER aggressive.

however, there's one thing, he tends to throw up yellow bile with some white foam, like once a month or so, usually when he refused a meal. but of late, it's been happening more often (the climate is terribly hot here, like almost 40C during the day) and he's getting very aggressive over his vomit. like when he throws up he doesn't allow anyone to come near and growls and barks and snaps. he doesn't allow anyone to touch him or clear up his vomit. it's very scary.

why does he do this? i mean he stays angry and protects his vomit for hours unless we can somehow manage to take him out of the room and quickly clear up. and then too he doesn't let anyone come near or touch him.

hello. two months ago i adopted a male gsd. (my first pet ever). today he is exactly four months old. he weighs around 10kg. of late i have noticed that his front legs seem out of shape. his feet point outwards in opposite directions (forming a little v) and the knees come inwards and almost touch.

is this normal? what do i do about it if it's not normal for his legs to be this way?

i had a dream where i suddenly found a river flowing next to me and i'm sitting curled up by the river and suddenly this HUGE alligator jumps out of the water and tries to bite me.... he's too far away but the water keeps bringing him closer and he keeps trying to bite me while i just sit there cringing... and finally when he nearly gets me i gasp and try to run but he's always "just about to get me"

what could this mean?

(and please don't bother to answer if you're going to say something stupid like "you were watching the animal channel before sleeping' or " dreams don't mean anything"....)

i just had a dream that i walking down a winding hilly forest path surrounded by trees. And there were 2 or 3 tigers walking with me. Then suddenly the path was flooded in knee deep water and 2 different tigers were trying to stalk me and i think they wanted to attack me. But then the tigers i was walking with protected me by going underwater. It happened many times and then i decided to go underwater with them to see what they did. So i went and it felt all magical and beautiful. And i was protected by the tigers i was walking with down the flooded path in the hilly winding forest.

What could this dream mean? I just had it the first time today.

i'm 20, and i've had this really great friend since i was 14. he's 9 years older and married and has a kid. we've been great friends, helping eachother out, sharing worries and joys and secrets. we've always loved eachother as brother and sister. even our parents like our friendship.

we were so very close and had a very clean relationship. i helped him get the girl he wanted and eventually got married to. but that lady always hated me from the start and she was always suspicious and snooping around. she kinda soured things between me and him and we used to be so worried if we wanted to hang out, or even simply send a joke over the sms.

eventually when they decided to start a family, he got into some worries, due to family pressure and the stress of a novel situations with his wife carrying and her hormonal imbalances and stuff. he suddenly changed. he became very rude and curt and angry towards me. instead of being there like he used to when i just needed someone to listen to me, he'd crack these really obscene and hurtful jokes. he was just so angry and hurtful all the time. and sometimes he'd even say sexual stuff that really surprised and hurt and worried me. and i completely stopped talking to him. he tried a lot to get me to talk. he even offered help when i lost a close family member. but i never replied.

his kid came along and he was so happy and all.

it's been months now since i stopped talking to him, and it's been months since he gave up trying to keep in touch with me and i'm really missing him. i really miss all the fun times we spent and all the times we cried together and helped eachother up when we fell. i miss the times we laughed like two crackpots... i do miss him... but i can't seem to forgive him for all the hurt he caused.

what do i do? should i try to get back? i mean, he never apologized!

i am 20 years old and i noticed something weird... Everytime i have exams i show symptoms of hypoglycemia... I mean like immediately after i finish writing the two hour paper i begin to show the symptoms... They disappear after i eat something and don't appear again till after i finish the next day's paper... The symptoms remain absent on the day i have a holiday in between the exam like on a sunday. And they stop altogether after my exam week is over...

Could these symptoms be occurring due to stress and lack of sleep during exams? Or am i really suffering from type 2 diabetes?

a classmate of mine who sits besides me everyday tends to doodle during lectures and i couldn't help but notice that all she ever draws is high-heeled shoes! She's a very simple girl who never even applies any make up or wears fancy clothes, and she never even considers wearing high-heeled shoes. hi, i'm trying to acquire detailed knowledge about Greek mythology which is as accurate as it gets. so i thought about buying Hesiod's Theogony, Works and days and The Shield of Heracles.

it's impossible getting these books in stores here so i looked it up online and i came across this

do you think this is an authentic copy? it should not be an abridged or illustrated translation. i want the whole thing exactly as Hesiod wrote it. the one in the site linked above is too cheap to appear authentic although i know i shouldn't judge it that way. but all other copies of Hesiod's books are twice the listed amount per book and this one is giving me all three at a 10th of the amount others are charging.
