  • Is this an appropriate definition of **** ?

**** is generally considered a promiscuous woman. What constitutes promiscuous is debatable (I have seen **** defined as "anyone who has more sex than you") and what a **** is is arguable as a result but I would like your take on my definition and/or how you d define it.

****: a term given to one (generally female but can be used for males too) who engages in casual sexual acts

(CSA s). A CSA is when at least two people have sex (anything involving stimulation of genitalia) outside of a relationship they are willing to consider romantic.

I am not saying being a **** is bad (not for me but I see the appeal) but is this an appropriate definition?

  • Do I have a problem if I get kicked out of a bar completely sober?

I'm looking for opinions; not medical diagnosis.

I was at a bar with a friend, couldn't get a girl to dance with me and ended up dancing with myself rather erratically. So much so I got escorted out by a bouncer and asked if I was on drugs. I had a cola so a bit of caffiene but other than that nothing-not even alcohol. Should I be worried about getting carried away?

  • What is so bad about Canada raising the age when one gets government pension to 67?

It's a simple reality that when a population lives longer the retirement pension system will have to increase income and/or decrease expenditure. If one wants to retire at 65 they still can, they'll just have to wait 2 years before government pension, which isn't enough to depend upon alone anyway. One can live off it but if you'd like to live well you need to save some for your own retirement.

  • Which girl to go for?

I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to dating but I have overcome shyness and gotten good at flirting, kind of a player now.

I like being single and flirting with any girl but I'd like to try a relationship out. I'm pretty frightened of rejection so if I go for a girl I want good chances.

I have 3-5 young woman who I find myself fancying that seem to also find me attractive. Can't decide who I like more. What should I use as criteria to decide?

  • Are Americans easier going than Canadians?

Most of my experiences suggest so so I'm wondering if this is an anomaly or if there is reason to believe that the "Canadians are so friendly " stereotype exists.

I'm from Alberta and have only been to western US and most of the Americans I've met outside of America are from the west too.

  • In general, are Europeans easier going than Americans?

Been in Europe a couple times before and I'm here for the summer this year. Almost everyone seems so chill. Is it just my extended family and the people in the area I've spent most of my time or is it a tendency that western Europeans are easy going?

  • Should I include "thank you for consideration" in a scholarship application?

This is a letter application for a $1000 scholarship. The letter content is somewhat structured in an essay format but it is still a letter. What should I put before closing? Just end the information it asks for,

    Sincerely

  • Are fat chicks more fun to hook up with?

I am a virgin and don't intend to loose my virginity until in a solid, long term relationship but checking out women the ones I can find my mind more open to the idea of a "one night stand" with tend to be a little on the chubby side. Really cuddly and have the ideas of "excess" and "limitless (thinking of alcohol Consumption) written into their physique. Plus- laying on something kinda squishy appeals to me.

Are bigger girls more fun just to hook up with?

  • What jurisdictions only require 1 license plate?

Alberta only needs a rear license plate but everywhere else I've seen needs front and back for passenger vehicles. Is Alberta the only one?

  • What are some strategies to get people who don't want to do something understand that it is the right thing to do?

In terms of uncooperative children, roommates or even younger siblings?

INFLUENCE to the resistance is another way to say what I am looking for. What are some effective strategies to use to get someone to do what is right when they want to resist? I am open to methods differing from my own, as long as they are still achieving the same purpose.

Ex. I Would prefer one does their dishes directly after using but if u r in an honest hurry your proposal to wash them later today is completely acceptable. Just get it done.

I can be a decent leader, when I have a cooperative team. When I find myself in a leadership role with uncooperative people I grt frustrated. I want to become better at making people understand the importance of an end goal; either do what I say or propose a genuine alternative.

Yes you can say this is somewhat manipulative, and it is, but I want to become better at making people improve themselves. Listen to me or come up with a better idea but "sitting on your butt and complaining about something doesn't get u anywhere ". In the process I will improve myself.

  • Would we be better off if we sterilized "bums" in society?

Generally parents who are quality individuals raise good progeny. I have seen the genetics work growing up on a cattle farm. As much as people have far greater minds than any other animal (please don't mention relativity) and can shape our environment/ situations considerably the behaviour of genes on a cellular level is very similar.

Basic biology (nature) behind let's focus on nurture. There are many studies showing (and anyone not ignorant can see it themselves) that the children raised in "better" environments tend to be more successful.

Prevent the expeansion of those not willing to work to improve their situation (there's a difference between hard luck and laziness) and encourage others to maintain child bearing rates. Overall decrease on population (environmental benefits) and we'd have a better world for those who remain.

This would take a long time to hve a noticeable impact but if we started a program as proposed in my thought experiment by 2020 would the people of 2060 and beyond not thank us?

  • For an Albertan where is the best/cheapest to buy a Eurail pass?

I've read it's cheapest to buy them through AMA (provincial division of CAA/AAA) but I haven't seen the prices anywhere online. I can go to the AMA center (have membership) but am curious if anyone knows how much? I am looking for the "Global Pass" for a month.

  • Is this an arrogant or practical reason for wanting toHave children one day?

I am 21 me in college right now. One day I would like to find and marry a woman to be partners with in life. I would like to have children. No hurry at all, in looking at my life plan having kids would be 8-10 yeas off. I want to enjoy my life first and then think about bringing more into the world. When old I would like to have children and grandchildren for personal reasons for my wife and i (lots of extrapolation, I'm obviously hoping for avoidance of early death or divorce). On a larger scale I believe that by having children it would almost be a gift to future mankind. I wouldn't go as far as saying I'm a prodigee but I am a quality person. Intelligence, good familial health tendencies, hard working, even not physically unappealing (let's be honest looks are important) and (assuming no life calamities) can make the world better around me and would be able to have children to continue this. I have a broader vision than most of my peers and it saddens me that "the bums are breeding at a faster rate than the general population". People like me are the leaders of tomorrow, our traits are the ones society wants passed on.

I think this is practical thinking, I am humble about it, but does holding these notions show underlying arrogance?

    Thoughtful responses please.

  • To her, is a guy asking a lesbian to dance similar to a guy asking another guy to dance?

At a country club a couple weeks back I asked a woman to dance and she turned me down saying she was lesbian. Now assuming that was true I replied "I don't care, I'll dance with you anyway!" After I thought that may have been an inappropriate response on my part because though I had no intent of going farther than dancing; I understand that dancing is a rather sexual act and that my response may be comparable to a gay guy asking me to dance.

  • Single girls/woman: what do you appreciate a man looking for in you?

What is/are trait(s) you feel about yourself that you appreciate a man looking for? Lets be honest; say you have large perky breasts, that's a nice but I'm sure you don't think "I love it when guys check out my milkshakes".

Do you prefer the guy who is more interested in getting to know you than the one who is primarily concerned with you knowing who he is? Or do you prefer the quite type that shows some interest but is quiet and lets you lead the conversation if you're interested? If you spend a lot of time with makeup do you want a guy who really looks for putting forth that extra effort to look good?

What I appreciate as a straight young man for a woman to look for in a guy (appreciate personally and what I hope my sisters search for):

    1) Will he listen to me and provide meaningful conversation?

    2) Does he take care of himself (like not in a vain sort of way but is he clean and healthy)?

    3) What is his potential?

    4) Is he a hard worker? If not looking for this in a potential mate one mustn't be very motivated them self. I'm motivated, I don't want a girl who complains about what is without effort to improve.
