  • Continue receiving unemployment benefits?!? Help!?

It's been a year since I worked, and I've been on unemployment since then, in California. I have been through two phases of my unemployment benefits, and then received a notice from the EDD saying my claim had expired and that I had to renew it. I called but couldn't get through, and then went online. After some clicking around, I submitted an entirely new claim to them. I just received a letter saying my claim is invalid because I had to have worked during this past year. Below that, it says "This determination does not affect your claim for extended benefits." I will be calling them first thing tomorrow, but I am nervous. Am I eligible for extended benefits or no? Am I getting cut off???

  • Access Outlook emails from a different location?

I get my Outlook emails at home through my wireless Internet service. Will I still be able to access them if I take my laptop with me somewhere else outside of my home?

  • What's a good basic cell phone with ability to text?

I have two friends who need a basic, reasonably-priced cell phone that has a fairly simplistic construction, very easy to use, but with the ability to text. Any good recommendations? Thanks. :-)

  • What is name of the Pearl Jam song with 'Sun' in the title?

I'm stumped. I love this song but can't get the right title. It has the word "sun" in the title and it's by an alternative band - Pearl Jam, I think? It's either "Dark Sun" or "Black Sun" but I'm not finding it in iTunes. Thanks!

  • Addressing nametags for a party?

I am hosting an office party at which many attorneys and judges will be attending. Is it proper to address them with the "Hon." or "Esq." on their nametags, or just their names, i.e., Bill Smith, or Bill Smith, Esq.? Thanks.

  • Download jar file to Samsung Impression phone?

I am trying to upload a jar file to my Samsung Impression phone and I am not able. I keep running into brick walls trying to do this and the instructions don't work for me. I have a USB cable to do this and have the PC Studio program too, but the file doesn't show up when I try to upload it.

  • Besides the obvious, what are some things to consider when planning an office move?

There are logistics (moving truck, furniture, etc.), IT, etc. but what about more specific things to consider when planning an office move? We haven't yet confirmed whether we will do it or not. Thank you!

  • Gentlemen, be honest! Is it true women should play hard to get while dating, at least a little?

By dating I mean during the period before you have established yourselves as a bona fide couple. And, more specifically, is it annoying or not for a woman to call/email/text you? Or is it okay for her to take the initiative?

  • Gentlemen, is it appropriate to bring a gift to the guy I am dating?

I have been dating someone special for the past month and a half and he's always had me over, giving me dinner, etc., and has been extremely generous. I am going again this weekend. Is it appropriate for me to bring something for him, even dessert or something small, or would it be taken the wrong way? Meaning, should I let him pamper me? I am a generous person too, so I feel somewhat guilty but he insists.

  • How can I orgasm via intercourse?

I am able to orgasm, but only with a LOT of work through manual means, toys, or occasionally through oral but never through intercourse. My mind gets distracted a lot and I have trouble relaxing. How can I get over this?! I hear so much about delicious intercourse orgasms and it's never happened for me. (I'm in my late 30s - not that age has anything to do with it...) Thanks.

  • Awkward work situation...?

This is really hard. I have a crush on my firm's young office assistant. He is much younger than I am, in fact, by more than 15 years, but very mature. We have had a fun friendship since he's been here, and in fact a mutual flirtation but never anything more than that - until today. We both had to come in to work for a couple of projects, a Saturday. There were other people here as well, so we were not alone. When he was out running an errand, I got up the nerve to text him about doing something after we were done with work. He replied back he already had plans. I said okay and added that I hope I didn't make him feel awkward. He said he's okay - and said so in person - but it was VERY awkward nevertheless. Now I feel awful. I would like to continue on as usual but I'm not sure if that will be the case. Any advice? He's resilient, but I still worry that I may have ruined the relationship. Thanks.

  • I like this guy - a much younger guy...?

This guy works at the same small law firm and he's much younger than I am. He's very sweet and smart, and we have become friends. I'm pretty shy ordinarily and he's kind of chatty but I think he likes me too. I have not said or done anything to trigger a relationship but I'm curious to know if I can pick up on clues that he may like me too. (He's in his early 20s but very mature for his age.) Thanks!

  • My crush's comment...?

Hi, I have a crush on someone at my work and I think it's mutual but ONLY a flirtation. In casual conversation, we have discussed marriage - not as anything serious but as a way of getting to know each other. He has said he will get married, and I know he will. The thing is, he's much younger than I, and I have no intention of creating a romantic relationship with him - crush only. So yesterday, he says in passing, "I'm not getting married." Why would he say this? I didn't reply and I'm just curious here. Thanks.

  • Older woman, much younger man?

...by 19 years. Is it even possible? What if he's very mature? We click but nothing at all has happened - only flirting. Nothing will happen if it's out of the question. But then, I think about John Travolta and that he dated a woman 18 years older when he was in his early 20s! So...
