6 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling9 years agoBath tub shower spout & shower head running water at same time?
I installed a new bathtub faucet with two valves for hot and cold water and spout with diverter on it.The manual was showing water lines coming from bottom up to the assembly, in my case I ran water lines from above,by doing this faucet was flipped. I did not think it will make a difference what lines will go to shower head or to spout but looks like it does.My biggest problem is the walls are finished now and there is no access from the back wall to fix that. Is there any way to fix that problem without tearing the walls ?
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years agoContractor took money from me and never started a job.Now he refuses to refund my money.?
I hired a contractor who gave me good price on my building project. We sighed contract. Then He took over $5000.00 as down payment promising to start next day. He never showed up for the job and was not answering my calls. I contacted local police and did not get much help from them.I filed a complaint against him with attorney generals office and contacted secretary of state office.
I decided to start my own investigation and was able to find this guys address and some additional contact numbers.
I left his wife a message on 10th day after I paid this guy explaining a whole situation. Then I received a call from this contractor and he was telling me that my project will be taken care of.He just needed some time to finish other work and get everything ready.I did not believe him and demanded my money back.Couple days later his attorney contacted me saying because I broke this agreement he will refund me only partial amount of money. Police telling me the court is my only option. In our state there is $3000.00 limit for small claims. I can hire an attorney and it will cost me more money but this guy got nothing not even a checking account and do not own any real estate. Can any body help me with my options?
