As an Atheist, do you celebrate Christmas?
I'd be especially interested if you were from Australia, but if you are not, please list your country.
I am an Atheist, but in Australia we are bombarded with the media imbedding the message in everything that you must celebrate Christmas and if you don't you are quite weird. Even though I've heard our Christian population isn't the majority (unsure whether this is true).
I grew up celebrating Christmas with my non-religious parents but now I am older I see we use Christmas as a form of a Thanksgiving-kind of event where the family gets together and has a great time. It's just convenient to use December 25th to do this, especially because some members of the family consider themselves religious.
14 AnswersChristmas10 years agoNeighbours cat is annoying?
My street has a fair few cats, and lately there has been one in particular that seems to be hanging around the outside of our house, meowing and fighting loudly with random other cats for hours during the night.
I suspect it be be on heat, but I'm wondering if there is a certain etiquette to talking to your neighbours about this, as I'm sure I'm not the only one in our street annoyed by it.
I have no idea what the cat looks like as it is always dark when he/she is around hence I have no idea who the owner is.
Should I write a couple of letters and post them in my street? Has anyone else dealt with this before?
6 AnswersCats10 years agoAre your cats indoor or outdoor cats? Why?
My 2 cats are indoor cats, although I've had outdoor cats in the past. We have outdoor enclosures for them to go into, where they can feed on safe plants, play on scratching posts etc. All the other cats I have had that were outdoor cats died due to problems suffered from being out on the streets.
I have had next to no health problems with my indoor cats and I was just wondering what people's reasoning's were on this issue.

The last time I got an eyebrow wax I had an unusual reaction to it so it has been recommended to me to get eyebrow threading done.
I want to know what to expect pain wise, is it more painful than waxing in your opinion?
7 AnswersMakeup10 years agoCyst ON breast? Ladies please?
Hi guys, I have a painful red cyst/boil kind of thing on my breast, I've had them a few times before, but never this painful and they always go away after awhile.
I looked up cysts, and it seems it could be one, but it is on the surface of the skin, not a lump inside.
Of course I will go to a GP but have any other ladies experienced these before?
I've taken a picture to monitor it (and no that's not my nipple): http://i890.photobucket.com/albums/ac106/Jessislol...

I'm really wanting a tattoo there and just wanted to know (as I've heard it can be pretty painful). Please tell me your experiences and try to describe the pain so I'm not too shocked hahaha.
Thanks :)
