I thought this had something to do with being logged in one of my Google accounts, so I logged off and my search results still looked the same. I also went to the bottom of the page and clicked on "Switch to standard version", nothing changed.

I am trying to do a big compilation of files for a friend and it would be very tedious to do this 'manually'. Open source, freeware or paid? Thanks in advance.

I gave my cousin a Sandisk Cruzer (8 GBs) but her Mac won't recognize it, I believe because it's not formatted using the correct file storage system. Thanks in advance.

I gathered around $1800 from a retirement account with a different employer and wish to give that money to my wife. Thing is, she is living away at the moment, in a different state (taking care of a sick relative). We of course are legally married but they won't send a check to either of us until we both sign an affidavit. One of us has to submit a form making sure that our signature is not forged. Do I need to hire a lawyer to write this document down and go with him/her to court and have that notarized?

There was a clip on YouTube I liked a lot but the user who uploaded it removed it. I happened to download the video before he took it offline. If I upload this .flv video back up, will YouTube RE-ENCODE it and degrade its quality?

Please, my question is not judgemental AT ALL, I am a male who does NOT completely understand what's inside a woman's mind when she decides it's time to have babies. I just want to humbly ask for enlightenment on this issue because I just don't get it. Thanks in advance!

I am paying way too much for the one I am living at right now and everything breaks often. Everybody in the building feels ripped off. They just sent a letter stating they will raise rent almost $200 more! So, should I just drive around until I find a good prospect? Read the rental magazines for my city? (Seattle). I doubt every single building is listed there.

I always liked to observe and study people, very big into psychology. I want to learn from other's experiences in order to improve my own life and maybe, when I am older pass on that knowledge.

I used to read books about the paranormal and ocultism when I was younger and some did mention that we are all surrounded by energies that come from the Divinity and that some people have found ways to manipulate them in order to achieve extraordinary things. Please don't get super religious with the answer but I can guess Jesus Christ definitely had mastery of that "Force".

I play a game called Half-Life 2 Deathmatch online and I am ranked 300 and something among a group of 600 and something players worldwide. I get mad when better players call me n00b 'cos even though I am REALLY good at this game, I don't have a competitive mentality. I only play for fun and because the game helps me relax in between sessions of hard computer work. If you answer, don't call me a n00b, you n00b!

I know it's normal for them to develop self-esteem and worry about say, looks but seems like that's the ONLY thing many worry about and it's pretty scary. I have to constantly "battle" my daughter and reassure her there is nothing wrong with her and that people who are rude to her in school are nothing but mean spirited or under developed (not to use offensive words).
