Solar wire voltage drop?
I was wanting to know the voltage drop on a #10 gauge THHN wire pos & neg 50 foot long. A new 100 watt 5 amp Renogy 12 vdc mono solar panel is at one end of my Rv & feeds a 40 amp renogy mppt controller.

After tearing the motor down & clean up, is there a way to add over size piston ring's after honing without change the pistons or boring? This motor has only 35,000 miles on it with barely a cylinder ridge on the top. Are the rings bought as Standard, .10, 20 & .30 over or do I just buy rings to cut & fit file? I kinda figured I would use new rings to see what the gap tolerances are by installing free hand & just go from there without going to a machine shop. Motor is in an Rv.

I have 4- 225 watt Truepoint solar panel's at 36 vdc VOC & I was wondering if I could Sereies/Parallel these panel's for a 72 vdc VOC?
These panel's would then feed an MPPT controller that will charge 4- 12 vdc batteries wired Series/Parallel for a 24 vdc output to a 24 vdc to 120 vac 1,200 watt inverter. I have no actual loads to speak of, I just wanted 120 vac for when I need it for camping. Does anyone see a problem with this? I've read some where that the batteries should match the solar panel voltages closely. ? ? My 5th solar panel is for 12 vdc only on a separate mppt controller to feed two parallel 12 vdc batteries that in turn operates led lights only.

Just installed 6- 225 watt solar panel's on RV just to consume all roof space. 4 series para panels for 24 v & 1 for 12 v. Any thoughts?
I have 2 new Renogy MPPT 1,000 watt Controllers (same) for the separate voltages. 24 vdc for the new Engle $800 fridge & 12 vdc for everything else. Other than the usual but not yet bought led style rv lights (4) total. Batts are 4- 12 vdc series parallel 122 ah Walmart deep cycle $100 each for the 24 vdc system & 2- same style Walmart batts for the 1- 12 vdc panel. Any math guru's on output potential for both system's? Mind you, it was all about the biggest panels available to cover the new EPDM Roof not loads. Panels are 36 vdc / 8 amp.

Since the Controller will take any array of voltage, do I series / string the 4 solar panel s or series / parallel them for a 24 vdc bank? This is for an off grid cabin for Led lights & Engle 24 vdc refrigerator.
