I have a Dodge 1977 Big Block stock 400 in my Motorhome. What Sae-Wt oil do I use & how many qts? PS, I live in Florida. Thanks in advance?

    That old, with a lot of miles, 30 wt. 6 quarts.with filter

    Pete, odd yes but your half right. Someone before me replaced the 440 with a BB 400 per the Vin. It has 76k actual miles & runs great. What oil would you put in now that you know more?. PS, glad it didn't have a 360 because that motor was an option too. Thanks in advance!

    15/40 diesel oil would be my first choice. 10/40 synthetic would be better, at twice or triple the price.
