What is the best path of education i should take?
I will soon be discharged from the army after serving for three years as an Airborne Ranger and completing my contract. I would very much like to pursue a career in the LE field to become a detective or possible part of the Bureau. Many people have told me that a BS in criminal justice is pointless. I understand that this is the case as a patrol office, but as i am pursuing a higher level of LE would such a BS be my best choice of action?

1 AnswerLaw Enforcement & Police10 years agoShould he be re-convicted?
This is only theoretical everyone. I merely would like your opinion. :-)... A man is arrested for murdering his wife. He claims not guilty and the jury decides that there is enough evidence to warrant a conviction (the body is never found). He is sentenced to life in prison. After 25 years the man is now 45 and is released on parole. At which time his wife is found alive living else wear with a new life and family and a different alias. She is now 43. The man in frustration shoots his wife in cold blood on the street with no one else around. He admits to this and is arrested. He is then released under double jeopardy laws on grounds (as stated by the DA) that he could not be charged for killing the same person twice.
My question is do you think that the man should be able to be retried or left alone? What is your opinion? Thanks.
6 AnswersLaw & Ethics10 years agoShould women be added to the draft?
I for one believe that equality for all means in all aspects. I think that a woman should get paid the same, have the same rights, and so on of men in the military and also in general. When this topic was brought to congress women were denied equal rights in the military on the simple aspect that arguments held strong that people would not allow there daughter to be signed up in the draft. Equality in the military was offered but turned down by congress in what was called a landslide just on that aspect. What is your opinion??? ~SPC Rowland~ (U.S. Army Airborne Rangers)
