Hi all i have no headlights on my car full beam,side lights indicators all work fine the car shows the lights are on on the dash. the bulbs look fine as do the fuses. The issue started yesterday when the AA had to rescue us due to a flat battery tried bumping but nothing so they jump started it the car started. JOB DONE. well no. later in the evening we went out and there were no lights. ive had a diagnostic on it it came back with P0685 power relay control circuit open. the car is a 1.5dci 05 plate. i am at a loss as to what the problem is. Any advice for a very frustrated driver.. PS the interior lights comes on and off when it wants too.

Hi all ive looked all over for info on this and cannot find the answer anywhere. i bought a passive 3d tv and i can watch movies in 3d with passive glasses but when switched to side by side 3d its blurry and unwatchable. so my question is why is it unwatchable this is a passive tv with side by side option with no option for active shutter glasses. please keep it simple. like me.lol

My tv has a large white block on the left side (top to bottom)with a black line through middle of the screen also top to bottom. I have changed the bottom buffer on the left side but it has made little difference except from moving the white line over about 2 inch. any idea's

can O-and O- parents make an A+ Baby please make your answer as simple as possible. along with a simple breakdown would be good.

Hopefully this is a simple fix. my next-door neighbour has asked me to look at their laptop. when the power lead is plugged in the battery light flashes amber as if charging as soon as you press the power button the light goes out and will not come back on until you unplug the power lead and plug it back in again. The laptop will not power up without the battery(mains alone). any suggestions greatfully received

Ive just bought a car put a new mot on it (so i don't think its a bearing as it would of been picked up)and it vibrates at around 70 (not the steering wheel) the actual car. I had low profiles on it but changed to standard rims thinking this would solve it but sadly not. I'm hoping it is just needs balancing but would like further idea's if anyone has any or even if you just agree with me to back up my opinion. I am also considering it may be a warped disc but again this is just a thought Ive not had chance to have a look.( Wheel trim not warped or malformed from over heating and Ive traveled over 100 miles today). IDEAS PLEASE

Hi all my son came over today as his van is leeking power steering fluid. It is leeking from a small metal plate on the top of the steering rack. The Metal plate has one bolt in the top also has a metal pipe which travels around the back of the engine to the front to the res i pressume. Can you tell me if this is simply a seal gone or somthing more sinister or even what this is called so i can find the parts he needs. thanks

I have a rover 200 for some reason the temp gauge goes just below the red then drops to norm temp and repeats this over and over. ideas please

The battery has 11.8 volts not running and 13.4 v when running off a bump so it seems to be charging. If i charge the battery it will start straight away but after a day of being stood its just clicks when i try to start it as if battery is flat but still displays 11.8 on multimeter. i'm thinking it must be the battery but i dont want to buy 1 if its not needed. Opinions needed

I need a new drive belt for my running machine but cant seem to find anywhere that sells the parts anyone have any idea where the sell these

i have got a usb tv card and the software to record. Ive connected the vcr to the pc and it will record what being played BUT when i play it back it plays about four times faster than it should any suggestions. cheers

my head gasket blew in april i paid a fortune to get it repaired now it gone again. will i have to pay to get it fixed again or should the work be under garentee.

as above really the star type are called hex but this tool will have a triangle head( not socket).

My friend's computer went haywire so he done a fresh install and now cant connect to the net. ive looked it over and its missing drivers and he does'nt have a disk. i cant find them anywhere. all i know about this is its a gigabyte technology nvidia nforce2 mcp-t. The ethernet port is built on to the board. please if you have any idea where to find the drivers could you post a link to the driver if possable. cheers

my laptop picked up viruses that i could not shift so i used dban to remove everything when i tried to do a fresh install it would load the kernels but shut down when you get to the options in install. i have asked about this recently and got nowhere. i thought perhaps my drive was faulty so ive tried 2 others which i cannot be sure if they work. but the same thing happens. so im thinking prob not the harddrive. the laptop is a fujitsu siemens amilo m1405. i have tried numerous os but always the same. any ideas of how to fix this would be great. thanks

I have been trying to install xp on my laptop but it loads all the kernals then when it says hit enter to continue the laptop shuts down. i have tried to load win98 and vista even linux the same happens. im using genuine software and am stuck on what to try. P.S i wped the drive with dban. Which i have used a number of times and never had any trouble. advice please please please.

This is as stated in the question please help. I have uninstalled all burner software and reinstalled 1 but this didnt help.

my mate has a bt home hub which shows its connection is there but when the computer is switched on the connection is lost. switch the computer off the connection returns. help

if i put a search in the toolbar it will take me to the usual links when i click a link i end up at a completly different site eg search facebook i end up at ebay etc this is just example i dont get to where i want to go please help.

i have a skoda which wont start when a little yellow car with a key through it starts flashing its driving me nuts as it doesnt happen all the time.
