I have a 98 Malibu. Took it to work and it ran fine. Drove home and the check engine light came on and the car 'shudders' when shifting gears. There is no loud noise or anything, only a delay in acceleration. I cannot check fluid levels because there is no transmission fluid dipstick for a 98' Malibu. A hint as to what this could be without having to take it into a shop would be appreciated. I'm afraid to drive it as I am worried I will cause additional damage to the transmission.

It doesn't say it is pot on the ticket. I have no prior record. How will this affect my standing in the Delayed Enlistment Program? I haven't talked to my recruiter yet I just want to know if I should tell him or not.

Honestly, I think metal has gone far enough to prove it is a respectable genre. It obviously doesn't fit into the rock category, unless I feel the need to ask a question about Breaking Benjamin, Stained, or Three Days Grace (schlock rock, all of em'). Metal musicians are the most talented in the world, why the snub?

I believe I am a Nihilist but I'd like a better understanding of what it means to be one. I usually just tell people I don't believe in anything but this reality but is that really Nihilism? I've come to this conclusion after much soul searching, I'm not spiritually lazy lol.
