Yahoo Mail check box not staying selected?
I have Yahoo Mail open with the preview pane below. I want to be able to click a message and preview it, and then mark the check box if I want to delete it. However, if I mark a check box then select another message to preview... the first check box on the previous message I wanted to delete, loses its check.
Is there a way to fix this?
1 AnswerNotices and Errors8 years agoWhat food should I buy to survive 11 days on $30?
So I've got $30 dollars to spend on food. What should I spend it on in order to survive till the end of the month?
Canned soup immediately comes to mind....but I really don't want to eat soup for 11 days straight.
6 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoWhat would it take to broadcast wireless Internet in Iran?
I'm curious....does a technology exist that would allow wireless Internet to be broadcast throughout Iran from outside the country? So instead of hurting the government by taking away (sanctions) we hurt them by giving (free unrestricted Internet).

5 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoI have a Hiragana Question!?
I'm learning Hiragana right now and I notice just from a little googling, there are differences in how the strokes are done...ki for example. Sometimes there's a gap and sometimes it's filled in (in the curve part). Why is this. What's correct?

I'm trying to learn Japanese and I'm wondering if it's better to not worry about Kanji until after I've learned the hiragana and katakana. Or should I work on learning them together?

I'm trying to learn japanese and am wondering....if you use hiragana for a word instead of the Kanji...do you look stupid? Is it possible to use nothing but hiragana when writing?

9 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoWhy is it recommended to start on certain books in the bible?
Why do people recommend you start with some books in the bible before others? It seems like you should start at the beginning and read straight through to revelations. Why chose random books? I mean, they are already in a certain order...why not follow the order? Furthermore, what if someone wants to read the books that were removed/not included in the bible aka the Apocrypha. And in what order should they be read in?
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAre the North Koreans trying to force the United States into making the first move?
It seems as if they are. First, they declared that the boarding of any North Korean ship would be considered an act of war. Then, that ship sailed for a while then simply returned to NK. Then, all their talk of launching missiles towards Hawaii but everything they fired appeared to be short range. It's as if they are taunting us into make the first move. If we respond, it's an excuse for them to begin attacking everything in sight. And they'll have their people's backing. What should we do?

1 AnswerMy Yahoo1 decade agoShould the CIA introduce some "proof" that Ahmedenejad fixed the election?
Even if proof doesn't currently exist...the CIA specializes in information manipulation and warfare. Seems like now is the perfect time to introduce false information giving proof of a fixed election into Iran in order to cause a revolution. If you don't like the idea, can you offer an alternative?
4 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoWhat should I buy?!?!?!?
My debit card that I totally forgot about is going to be disabled if I don't charge something to the card tonight! There's $100 on the card but I'd like to keep whatever I buy under 20 bucks since I'm just trying to prevent losing the $100 bucks.
I'm thinking of getting "the meats" pizza from papa johns. What do you guys suggest? Could be anything as long as its under 20 bucks. I'm definitely a computer geek/programmer if that helps guide your decision.
3 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoWhy are repubs disowning Specter?
After the guy was loyal the the GOP for like 29 years, why are the repubs saying he was terrible for the party and now they're better off with out him. Honestly to me, the whole party sounds like a little child who isn't getting his way so they're saying they never really wanted it in the first place. The it in this case being Specter... I mean I've never heard in the past that repubs hated the guy so much. Why can't they just own up to the fact that it hurts the party and they're sad to see him go. Why go through this big song and dance in a pathetic attempt to save face?

2 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation1 decade agoJava Comparable Interface question?
I'm reading in my book that you can write
Comparable c = new Date();
This apparently creates a reference variable c that is of type Comparable. This doesn't make sense to me...I thought you could only instantiate objects from classes. Comparable is an interface. How can you instantiate an object from an interface? I'm confused!
