Since buying silver or any other precious metals for example, requires a long term investment, why should I care what the price of silver did a year ago?

Why do you call yourselves atheists? Have you been everywhere in the whole universe? How is the bible so easy to dismiss as fiction (even though it has never been proven to have any errors) but yet you guys make this Dawkins guy out to be so great?!

Dawkins believes that the earth was populated or sparked with life by aliens from another planet?!

Are you kidding me?!!!! He can believe in little green men (by the way - he never can answer where those little green men came from, and neither can you) but he cant believe in a bible that speaks about scientific discoveries hundreds and 1000s of years before we even discovered those truths.

The fact is, and yes it is a fact: Gay people are not born gay. A black person is born black and a white person is born white. But you are kidding yourself if you think that gay people are born gay.

So many people will take offense to this statement. I can't understand why, though. I have many gay friends and I do care about them and I don't shun them. But they know where I stand. I am honest enough with them to say that being gay is a sin. Its a sin and all people are sinners. So why do we treat gay people with kid gloves but (and I am drawing a parallel here) we treat sick depraved child molesters like they are sick and evil.

I believe that there will come a day when those sick child molesters will start to get the same treatment that gay people are getting and that is: They were born that way and its ok.

I think we're already halfway there in America. We allow kids of 10 and 12 to go have abortions and its their decision. Parents arent even notified coz its the childs body. Well, wait till those child molesters win a case in court that allows kids to make the decision for sex with an adult!

I can't understand why so many people hate God so much... Why would they reject Jesus also? It seems ironic that they reject the very one who is able to save them from eternal damnation.

I am of the firm belief that if you call yourself a Christian then you must believe in the bible, in its entirety. Why then are so many people who call themselves Christians picking and choosing which parts of the bible to believe is true because they don't want to offend homosexuals? Can that person really be Christian who compromises like that?

Will it mean that there will be other people out there that can then use this law as a basis for marrying their dogs, or their own daughters. I know this may sound strange to most people but homosexuality was understood as a sin only a few decades ago by the majority of Americans. However now that most people are not Christian any longer and anything goes, will the fact that pedofilia be allowed to be practiced also? I wonder if soon these pedofiles will use this law to manipulate it for their own purposes and convince people that they too are just "born that way"

What do most people think about homosexuality? Is it wrong or is the bible wrong in calling it a sin? My belief has always been that it is a choice and a lifestyle.

I was wondering how many people still believe in a real hell.

Is it possible that God in all His perfection will require that all evil unsaved men will have to pay for their sins for all eternity? Would God send a so called "good person" to everlasting punishment? I think that if God didn't send people who are not born again/saved to hell then that would make Him hopelessly unjust.

Why then are evil men allowed to do evil and cause pain to others and then escape forever the error of their ways by just dying into nothingness?

This is a really good reason for me to believe that there is an ultimate accountability and that this whole theory of evolution is a false lie to trick people into thinking that no matter what they do in this life, it will mean nothing after they die.

I believe everyone who dies not being born again will go to hell regardless of how good/nice a person they were. Do you believe this? I guess it doesn't matter what YOU believe, I should ask, is it TRUE?

I was wondering whether a US NTSC XBOX (old style) will work in S. Africa on a PAL tv if they use NTSC games. I assume the console itself should work as long as the games are NTSC right?
