  • Phone/Service Glitch?!?

Alright, I'm going to list what is wrong:

    1. My boyfriend can send me 12+ texts in a day and I don't get them. None of them. They don't come in late, they just never come in.

    2. I can send him 12+ texts in a day and he doesn't get any of them.

    3. I cannot call him. It rings on my end, but not on his. I even tried calling from two different phones (landline and another iPhone), nothing. I can call his work phone, but he cannot hear me.

    4. He cannot call me. It rings on his end, but not on mine. He called my cell phone from his work phone recently and couldn't hear me.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?! He has Sprint, I have Verizon; is that a problem? Does he just have shitty service in his apartment?! is it my phone? This is off and on, too. Sometimes calls come through (randomly, without doing anything different), and sometimes texts go through (randomly, without doing anything different). He already got a new phone (so, it's service-based...), and I probably need a new phone (I have an iPhone 4 from Feb 2011).

Does anyone know what could help?! I already went in to Verizon and all he did was reconnect to local towers, which obviously did nothing. This is getting really annoying!

I DO NOT want to hear that he's ignoring me, because I know he isn't. None of that, please.

  • Show physical affection?

The guy I am seeing just finished 4 years in the military and has been without female touch for quite some time. I'm really bad at showing affection, physically, I need help with the following:

    1. We hold hands when we drive. Anything else I could do to be affectionate?

    2. After we kiss, I tend to turn my head or look away. What can I do to stop this/what to do after kiss?

    3. What can I do to be more affectionate in general? Where do my hands go when we are hugging/kissing?

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated :)

  • Parks open after dark in Oregon?

I'm planning a date for this weekend and really want to have a picnic type thing after dark and just lay on a blanket, talk, and watch the stars. Anywhere in the Portland-metro area that I can do this without getting kicked out?

  • Bump on head above temple?

A few months ago I discovered a small (dime sized or smaller) bump directly above my temple on the right side of my head. It's not painful, it seems to have a bit of "give" to it (not rock solid), and it seems to move a bit.

I have no idea what it could be, and before I go to the doctor I want to get some ideas. Help!

  • What to wear with a bejeweled bra?

I just made a bra with a ton of clear crystals on it. What can/should I wear it with?! I was thinking a high-waisted bandage skirt with this black "knitted" shirt I have.

  • Spontaneously buy plane ticket?

As a part of my summer "bucket list", I am planning to take a few days off work, go to the airport with a friend and buy a ticket for the next flight out.

I think it'll be a great experience to wind up in a city we may have never been to and having to fend for ourselves for a few days.

Has anyone ever done this? Any tips or anything? I don't want to plan it out, because it'll lose the magic : )

  • Need opinions on a movie night!?

My friends and I are getting together next weekend and have a drinking/movie night before we go back to school for spring quarter.

We're going to drink alcohol out of squirt guns and watch sappy movies all night.

The Notebook is definitely on the list, but what else?!

  • How is this for a birthday dress?!?

I think I will be doing a little smoky hair, styling my hair down, and pairing the dress with a pair of bright pumps to make the outfit pop.

  • Authenticating tickets purchased on Craigslist.?

I'm thinking of purchasing tickets on Craigslist for an upcoming concert.

Before purchasing, I am planning on meeting with the individual with the tickets in hand, going to the venue, and having them look up the serial number in their system to make sure they're legit.

Is this a smart way of going about it? I don't want to throw down $150 for fake tickets.

  • Septum piercing question?

Alright, so I work retail and the dress code prohibits facial piercings (I have my left nostril pierced, but my manager is okay with it) but I know she won't be okay with a septum piercing while on the clock.

After I have my septum pierced, can I leave it flipped up for work (and keep it flipped up since I don't want to bother the healing process) and have it heal a-okay?

  • 2-Month European Excursion?

My cousin/best friend, and a mutual friend are planning on doing a 2-month European excursion next summer after we all graduate from college.

We are thinking about doing the 22-country EuRail (2-months) and just adventuring through Europe, staying in hostels, and soaking it all in.

We NEED to visit the following: France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, and Germany. We will also be doing Britain, but that is separate from the EuRail.

Is this feasible for 2-months? 2 months is about 60 days, so we have about 7.5 days (mathematically) to spend in each country. How should this be split up (as in, we'll need more time in Italy as opposed to Norway).

    Thanks!
