I was in a car accident last Sunday and my car was appraised today.  There is a chance that my vehicle may be totaled.  My boss and one of my co-workers said that if the insurance company makes that decision I can use that money to buy back the car for next to nothing and use the rest of the settlement to pay for repairs.  I have never heard of such a thing before, has anyone else heard of this practice?  Better yet has anyone actually done this?  I hope someone can give me some perspective here.

I remember there was an episode of the Simpsons that was a big spoof of 24 and Bart was the Jack Bauer figure.  Can anyone tell me the episode number or title of that storyline?

Hey I'm a photographer and I am looking for a set of wooden stocks, the kind you might see back in medieval times or the rennaisance fair, to use as a prop for a shoot I want to do in the near future.  Does anyone know of a theater or prop rental company in MD, VA or DC that would have something like that?  

Pretty straightforward, this is something I am genuinely curious about and under the right circumstances I may patronize such an entrepreneur.  Does anybody have any experience or insight into this?

I plan to start making investments on the stock market, particularly stocks that pay dividends on a quarterly or semi-annual basis.  The problem is lack of capital means I would have to make investments piecemeal and it could be years before my portfolio could yield any significant returns.  So I'm considering getting a loan from a lender that gives loans out in hundreds or thousands of dollars and use that as investment capital.  In due course the loan will be paid back but the dividend payments will remain in perpetuity.  Can any one let me know if this is a wise strategy?  And yes I know you should meticulously research a stock before you buy.

I'm interested in buying stock in companies that are working on driverless technology.  Would anybody know who these companies are and where I find some resources to do my homework on them before I purchase stock?

I've seen probably about a million ads for the Motley Fool on YouTube and what they say about their ability to pick tech stocks seems legitimate and I am interested in maybe signing up for thier service.  However, before I make a decision either way can anyone out there tell me if they have had any experience with the Motley Fool, be it good or bad?

Lately on YouTube I've been hearing that you can purchase a whole life policy and borrow cash against it.  When I contact the insurance companies they tell me that I can purchase a policy with them but I can only borrow against the policy after a number of years and the amount I can borrow would be less than the total amount I've paid into the policy.

So my question is can anyone tell me the names of any insurance companies that offer whole life policies where the amount I can borrow is still greater than what I've paid?  Or can they tell me the criteria a company has to meet in order to make this arrangement?

I'm not looking for get rich quick, rather I'm looking for get rich after a reasonable time frame.

Every other day on YouTube I hear about all these burgeoning tech stocks that will usher in the 5G era.  Problem is they want me to pay money to who they are.  Can anyone name any publicly traded companies that are involved in 5G?

Ages ago a former co-worker told me that she makes money on the side as a DJ in Second Life. Is what she s saying accurate? Can you make actual real world money in Second Life, and if so what other jobs are there besides DJing? Can anyone with experience in Second Life help out?

I am an occasional ebay seller and I am looking for ways for the platform to better supplement my income and in time maybe even replace the revenue my job provides. The problem is I find collectible items like old toys and limited release items sell fairly well, but they are hard to come by on a regular basis. Okay so this is one a hell of a pickle, much easier said than done. I have come to know this one girl, whom I think is absolutely adorable. She dj's at a club I frequent. Whenever we meet up we have this great chemistry and always have a great time chatting with each other. The problem she has a husband and child. The idea of having an affair would only result in the people closest to her getting hurt and could very well ruin her marriage, assuming she's even open to such a thing. So what's left? Suggesting a polyamorous relationship. So how do I make such a suggestion to her without sounding like a dirt bag? Also assuming she would even be open to such a thing.

I have seen the sword working woman videos from Japan a couple of times and I am still at a loss to fully understand what the office ladies and the interviewer are taking about. Do these videos exist in a subtitled format or can someone give me the gist of what's happening here?
