I have just graduated from college and am going to be searching for a job soon. My mom does not want me to use her address for my job search because she said her benefits would be reduced if I start earning income. If I am not paying rent would her benefits still be reduced? What would be a good way around this situation? I want to save up and get a place of my own, but I don't want my mom to lose income because of it.

My mom owns her home and it is paid off except for a $50,000 loan against the house that she does not have to pay back until she sells the house or she passes away. She is $20,000 in debt and only makes about $800 a month from social security. We saw a credit counselor and they said she doesn't even have enough money for a debt management plan. She owns one car that is also paid off. Would filing bankruptcy be a good option for her? also when I filed bankruptcy I just used a paralegals services and it was really easy but seeing that she has a home would it be wise to use a paralegal or should we save up the money for an attorney?

I went out with this girl for only 2-3 months about 6 years ago. I did some pretty messed up stuff to her looking back but we were on amicable terms the last we talked though. I am just unsure if I should just grieve privately or show up to the casual memorial service to pay my last respects.

I did total liablilities/net worth=100,000/225,000=.44

The answer says that it should be .80 did i do it wrong or is the answer wrong..lol
