  • hemming sweatpants/other length-reducing options?

i have this pair of sweats from roots, the 'salt and pepper' ones. the waistband is fine and all but the pant legs are too long. id just hem them, but id like to keep the stretchy cuff at the bottom. i was considering just rolling it up to just the length that i want it, but it looks stupid because the inside is white and the outside is salt and pepper/grey. is there a way to hem it so that i can keep the cuff?

  • volume in a perfect vacuum?

hypothetically, what would happen if you put an open garbage bag in a perfect vacuum, tied off the end, and then tried to flatten the garbage bag? since there would be nothing inside, would you be able to just flatten the garbage bag, reducing the internal volume to nothing? vice versa, would you be able to get the flat garbage bag with the end tied off and pull the sides away from each other to make the volume of the garbage bag from nothing to full?

  • Where and how to keep balance while pushing?

I ride skateboards, and i feel comfortable riding at medium speeds by going down a small hill. The problem i have is pushing to get that speed without losing balance. So can someone explain to me how to keep balance while pushing? (Do i keep my centre of balance behind, in front or on my left foot, balance tips, good ways to practice, etc.)

  • Baby molar split in half.?

My loose baby molar split in half so I removed the front half that was loose. The back part wiggles a little bit but it's not loose enough to let me pull it out like I did with the front half. I did a little research, and apparently that's not uncommon for a loose baby tooth to thin out and break, so I'm not worried. The problem is that the underlying tooth is barely coming out of my gums and I want to know if I should remove the pulp that's sitting on top of my permanent molar that is currently coming out to maybe help it out or prevent it from getting infected. It still bleeds profusely if I touch it and it has enough feeling in it to still make it feel uncomfortable if I touch it roughly but still not painful in the slightest. I'm planning to go to the dentist to check it out soon but i just wanna know if it's okay to remove the pulp so it will stop bleeding and I can eat normally again.

Short story short: Is it safe to remove the bleeding tooth pulp from my broken baby tooth?

  • Can anyone tell me what's going on with this girl?

There's this girl I like, and she told me that she likes another guy, but we still maintain a close friendship. Lately, she's been telling me 'ILY' on facebook a lot, and recently, she began hugging me, and saying that, but it was more in a playful tone. Can you tell me what's happening?

  • Neighbourhood Airsoft?

Can I play airsoft in my neighbourhood with my friends? We're only 12-13 years old, so I don't think anybody would call the cops, but would the residents get too mad? I haven't ever talked to them, so I don't know anything about them. And also I live in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) near a major road, but we're concealed by the houses.

  • Pest Control: Slingshot?

I have squirrels in my back yard that are eating my garden, and since I'm too lazy to trap it, and I can't shoot it with an air rifle, is it legal to kill it with a slingshot instead without a license?

Or does killing animals generally count as hunting, and therefore requires a license to kill it.
