When people say "send your details", what details do they mean?
Probably a pretty dumb question but I want to apply for a job opening, but it's just a small volunteer thing so there's no big application form and it's quite far away so there's no specifics for what the job involves etc at the moment.
The company have said for people to "send their details" to an email address and said they'll be in touch. Is it just basic contact details (name, age, address, phone number?) they want, or are they looking for a CV as well? I don't know what to send - help!
1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment9 years agoHelp with shop suggestions?
I really want to buy some basic tops, or just basic wardrobe pieces generally. I really like the classic, timeless clothes that they sell in Zara, just wondering if there's another high-street store that's similar? I like Topshop and Urban Outfitters but that's not quite the kind of thing I'm looking for. Any help? Preferably suggestions that aren't too expensive please!

About a month ago, I was having various problems with my laptop (screen had odd patterns coming up and wouldn't shut down/dvd drive didn't work, etc) so I took it to a computer repair shop and they replaced the motherboard. It's been working absolutely fine since I've had it back, but today I'd had it on for about five minutes when the screen went black and the laptop started making a loud static noise. I hadn't been listening to or watching anything, and my earphones weren't plugged in. When I did plug them in, it didn't make any difference and the noise continued. When I tried to shut the laptop down by holding the power button, nothing happened, so I had to unplug it from the charger then take out the battery. I left it for a couple of minutes then put it back in. After a few tries, it started to go on, but before anything could happen on the screen, it went off again. I tried plugging in the charger, but the same thing happened. Now when I plug the charger in, the laptop starts making a quiet, high-pitched squealing noise. It stops when I unplug, but starts again when I plug it back in. And the power button is constantly flashing on and off. I'm so confused! Any help?
2 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoa pretty general question! help?
recently my laptop has been generally acting up: not recognising my cd/dvd drive, randomly cutting out to a white screen with patterned dots/lines on it, and a few other things that I've tried to fix but can't. I'm just wondering that if I eventually have to have my laptop wiped and just reinstall everything, what happens with things that I've paid to download like paint shop pro, norton etc? Also my music on itunes. I have it all on my ipod but how would I get them back on my laptop after it has been wiped? These are probably stupid questions but I'm just wondering what will happen if there's no other option than to basically start from scratch again?!

ok, I don't know much about computers so I'm probably describing this really badly! Earlier today, I was on my laptop and it was working fine until the screen suddenly cut to a sort of dotted pattern against a white background. I tried to get it to respond but nothing happened, so I just held the power button until it shut down. I put it back on and everything worked fine for around an hour, then it did the same thing! I've not put it off yet, it's still at the weird screen, so I'm typing this on my ipod touch in the hope that someone knows how to help! I don't want it to keep cutting out.

I currently have a Pay & Go phone on O2, but would like to change to Pay Monthly. I want to keep the phone I have, but don't mind if I have to change SIM. Am I able to do this?
