  • How do you get the nasty, rude, always giving disrespectful answers off yahoo answers?

Isn't that some kind of community guidelines infraction?

  • Why is it that some people can write a novel for an answer but all I get is like 500 characters?

I see that some answers here get lots and lots of room (number of characters) to write long answers bit I get cut off after maybe 500. What up with that?

  • Have you used bitcoins?

If you've used bitcoins, I could really use a short tutorial on how do you find them, pay for them, pay the seller with them, get a receipt that the payment was made, how long to wait before receiving merchandise, is the transaction safe (like paypal) and anything else you think I need to know before I use them.

    'Preciate the info, thanks.

  • My car has been sitting for...?

the past 2+ months in the cold, wet and snowy Chicago weather. I just started it up and the brakes don't sound good. When I stop, they creak and groan, but they do stop. Are the calipers just rusty and if I drive it around a while the creaking will stop as the rust is worn away, or is it terribly unsafe to drive at all?

  • The appeal docketing form says to.....?

"Briefly state the supreme court rule, or other law, which confers jurisdiction upon the reviewing court; the facts of the case which bring it within this rule or other law; and the date that the order being appealed was entered and any other facts which are necessary to demonstrate that the appeal is timely."

Is this Rule 301? If so, what of the case causes it to go under 301? Or is there something else that that causes it to go under the Second Appellate Court jurisdiction? (Obviously I'm not looking for specifics.)

This is in the Second District Court of Appeals in Illinois.

No snotty answers, please. I'll just delete the question and you won't get your 10 points just because you 'gave an answer.'

  • How do I write a complaint for libel/defamation?

Someone posted a bunch of lies about me on Ripoff Report and I filed a lawsuit in Small Claims court that the judge didn't like and has allowed me time to write a proper complaint before dismissing on failure to show cause. Where do I find a model to use for writing a proper and legal complaint?

  • What's wrong with the DSL line?

It takes forever for it to bring something up on the computer screen and it seems like it's getting worse. At times, it's as slow as dial up. It's not the computer. I take it to the library and it works just fine there on their Wi-Fi but when I'm attached to the phone line at home, it's just horrors. It stalls and there are pop ups saying that I'm not attached to the internet and sometimes it takes an hour to straighten itself out.

Whatta ya think the problem is and how can it be fixed?

  • What to do with dog that.......?

What to you do with a dog that won't house break? This dog is about 4 1/2 - 5 years old and comes from an abusive situation and I've had her about 1 year and even though I've tried numerous different things, she still urinates on the rug. I'm at my wits end! I don't like keeping her confined ( She had severe kennel cough when I got her because she was always confined ) and I don't like cussing her out all the time. ( She thinks that is how she should be talked to ) I refuse to hit her or rub her nose into the 'mess' ( Bad training techniques, anyway ) and have training pads available to her all the time, even when she's confined. Yes, she's used the training pads 2 or 3 times in the past year so I believe she knows what they're for, but as soon as my back is turned......mess on the rug! Just this A.M. I ran into the bathroom for my comfort and before I could get back to take her out, she'd gone on the rug, again! ( Sorry, this is wall to wall carpeting. If it was just a throw rug it would be quite acceptable. )

Any one have any good suggestions? I know she can hold it until I take her out, but she won't. She goes out 3 - 4 times a day. That has shown to be sufficient. And her walks are 20 - 30 minutes each. It's not like 'hurry up and let's get back inside.'
