I have to do this problem for homework, and many like it. I don't necessarily want the answer, I'm just asking how to do it. Do I subtract $711 from $900 and put that answer over the original $900 and use x over 100 for the proportion? I'm not sure what to do. Thanks for any help!

I've been doing my homework all weekend and have just now been able to start my math. I only have to do 1 problem, but it's one of those "Explain in full detail how you arrived at your answer" questions. I managed to screw up my computer, majorly. I don't know how I did it. It's basically the same screen, and I can (barely) operate it, but sideways. It's somewhat hard to explain. I have no idea what I did. I have an ASUS computer, Windows 8. Please help!

If you didn't really understand how it's set, I'm sorry. I feel like I didn't give enough information. Imaging your computer, with the desktop and files and stuff on it, but turned sideways. Instead of a horizontal screen, it's now vertical. I have no idea how I screwed this up. I can type, that works, just the screen is vertical and the mouse is vertically set. Please help! I'm a complete idiot. :/

My friend and I are having a sleepover tomorrow and I don't really have much experience with sleepovers. We thought about having some fun traditions and I found some little balloons that I blew up and hung everywhere. I don't really know what else to do. I've laid out some board games but that's it. My grandma speaks her mind, which can lead to hurt feelings. I'm the youngest of 12 grandchildren, so I usually get the shaft. I'm a lot different out of her grandchildren.I'm the only brunette, only one with brown eyes (believe it or not, the others all have green or blue) and she puts me down. Hopefully not intentionally, it's just hurtful. For example, I once was visiting her and she somehow was talking about how boys like attractive eyes. As I said, I'm the only grandchild with brown eyes. She was going on and on about how blue and green eyes are the most attractive, and how pretty they are. Normally I wouldn't really care, but I just got so tired of judgement and crap. She has told a lot of people how I used to be annoying when I was little. She just makes me feel uncomfortable. Don't give me advice please, I just want to know why she thinks I'm a lesser grandchild. Like I'm from the clearance rack. I don't know why she seems to dislike me. Please, dear God, no rude answers. Don't give me I'm being dramatic bullcrap. It's annoying and hurtful, and I just don't need that right now.

I got my iPod nano about 2-3 years (I don't even remember the year) ago and I had stopped using it mainly because my earphones broke and couldn't find more. I have checked all of them and none take me to where I need to go. In songs, I have voice memos recorded from the past, and can listen to them, but I never saw the option to edit them, which I would have been totally fine with. I don't know what to do, I've looked online everywhere but it all suggests to select "Extras", which I don't even have. I heard a song with my cousins and I forgot the name of it. It's by Carrie Underwood and it's more like a slowish love song. I remember it starts out by them sitting on a roof (this is just remembering, might not be accurate) and the guy telling her they should leave the town and get away as lovers. As it picks up, he tells her that he has a small job, but it's enough to get by. The chorus IS him telling her to run away in love. The chorus also gets really harmonious and loud. I can't remember the name and it's driving me crazy. Please help! :)

I heard a song on the radio while doing some work, not really paying attention. I didn't hear the name of the singer or the song, so not much to go off of.

It was a woman singing and had a some country tune in it and she had a bit of a southern accent.The story was a girl leaving a guy and they both don't want to be apart. Some of the lyrics I remember were "the moon and the sun" something about floating, I can't really recall more than that in that passage. Another thing was something about the guy was drinking alcohol and it wasn't helping him at all so he pours it out somewhere. I hope this is enough info because I'm at a loss. Please help I don't listen to music very much so I'm not very familiar with singers of this generation. Thank you for helping me and taking the time to read my question. :)
