I was thinking of buying a gaming laptop from iBuyPower or CyberPower since it seems like I will be able to get more bang for my buck as compared to buying a computer from Newegg.com or BestBuy with similar specs. But all the complaints that I am finding about them has me a bit weary. Can they be trusted? If not, where would you recommend I look for a laptop?

Just a few things to note: I know it would be better to build a desktop myself but I will be going to college next year so I want to have a computer that is at least somewhat mobile despite a gaming laptops poor battery life. My budget is around $1100-$1300 (not knocking anything cheaper though!)

If they aren't actually there to sign for the car? My dad who lives in another state is sending me money to buy a car from a private owner. How do I get the car put in his name?

I'm 17 and want to get a car for my senior year of high school, my dad who lives in a different state will be sending me the money to purchase a car from a private seller. My mom is dead and I live with my grandmother who refuses to have the car put in her name. As I said my dad is in a different state, so can I have the car put in my name? If not, can I have the car put in my dads name without him having to travel all the way to me to get it put in his name?

I am 17 and I sell things on various sites online and use paypal. I honestly forgot that you have to be 18 to have an account as I made it 2 years ago to buy something on ebay. I have a bank card that is only mine and has my name on it. I am the sole owner of the bank account, it is not tied to my parents' or anything of that sort. Will they ever actually find out that I am underage since I do have a card in my name as long as I am not reported to them buy someone?

Does anyone know a good book that explains the basic Greek mythology "lore" such as describing the notable god's and goddesses, important places, as well as including stories and such? It doesn't have to be too detailed (though I wouldn't mind if it was), I just want it to be something I could get a hold of decently easy and wouldn't have to hunt in every thrift store and garage sale in town for.

I'm looking into upgrading to a new computer to get a better gaming experience but was wondering which of these would be better?

Option 1: High-end laptop

or

Option 2: Mid-range laptop and High-end Desktop

I primarily want a laptop, but realize that for the most part, I will only travel with the laptop to a friends house every now and then, so this is how option 2 arose. Upon my research, each will cost about the same, with one or the other coming out to be less depending on how I go about getting each machine. So what do you all think will be the wisest decision?

I need a prom dress as soon as possible (darn procrastination). My prom is on April 20th. I recently went dress shopping with my boyfriend at Dillard's as I have gotten a formal dress from there before, but at the time I was so hell bent on getting a long dress that I didn't even give the short dresses a glance. I have decided that it will be easier to find a short dress in a style that I like that is in my budget, so I would like you all's opinion on the dresses I have picked out from their website. I plan to go to TJ Maxx and Marshalls as well. but just in case I can't find anything there, I want to have a back up.

How can I lift my butt and keep it round as I loose weight? I naturally have a bit of "ghetto booty" and I'm actually happy that its diminishing but its gone down quite a bit after only 14ish pounds of weight loss. I'm afraid that by the time I loose the other 20-30 I want gone my butt will be flat and non-existent. I know you can do squats and lunges for a better a butt, but those scare me as they bulk up my legs and I want small thighs. So exercises that lean away from bulking up the legs would be greatly appreciated! I was watching UK Skins over again for the 3rd or 4th time and every time I see the scene with that make up look I get inspired so I finally looked on youtube for a guide video and was able to recreate pretty well. I want to wear it on Monday. Theres nothing special happening. Just because.

I dyed my hair blue black, but since I didn't get any kind of a blue tint, I've decided to just bleach my bangs and dye them a very dark midnight blue (not using the manic panic color). So how light would I have to bleach my hair? I don't want to take it past a light brown to avoid a lot of damage. Keep in mind, I don't want a vibrant bright blue. I want it to be very dark. All I can think of to describe it is easy listening but I know that isn't the proper term for it so does anyone know what formal genre of music this is? I'd really like to be able to find more songs like this.

I plan on getting it soon, so do you recommend getting it on the PC or PS3? I played DA:O on PC because you can mod it and such but I've heard that you can't mod DA2 (I don't know if thats true). Which way will the play through be more enjoyable?

A Sephora just opened up in my town this week and I went today having never been to a Sephora and it was like pure heaven for me ^_^. I plan on getting MUFE HD Foundation, Benefit POREfessional primer, a Naked palette (not sure which one), and a travel size of the Urban Decay Oil-Deslick Setting spray. What else should I get? I plan one getting my eye liner, setting powder, concealer, Fix+, and eye lid primer from MAC, so I don't need any of these things. I'm going to be a junior this year.

I think this dress if absolutely adorable. I kind of in a way makes me think of a lolita style dress. But I wanted to know if it was just me. Does anyone have any tips on how to wear high/platform heels to school? I'm going to be a junior this year and I really want to wear heels but I don't want to look slutty like this one girl in my grade. I want to be kind of Hanna Marin style from Pretty Little Liars. The heels she wears are really tall, but she doesn't look out of place or strange. My new wardrobe for the coming year really suits heels. What do you guys suggest?
