As a mother, this is one of my biggest fears, what are some ways you could prevent or check if your child has been abused.

I want to give my daughter the best possible chance in life, and do everything I can to protect her from things such as this.

For example, I imagine assessing her emotional state around certain people could act as a red flag in need of investigation, would periodically checking her hymen or something of that nature be a good idea?

That solution may seem a bit extreme, but any suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

To give you some background on our situation, we have been together for 3.5 years in a serious long-term relationship, she's 19 and I'm 25, and we are in a long distance relationship.

She currently has $17,000 in savings, of which at least $10,000 of that could be considered disposable.

We're both university students, she doesn't pay rent, utility bills, or food that's all provided by her parents.

Whereas I pay all of that for myself, around $6000 per year.

Currently, she has the capacity to pay for flights for us to meet up, but expects me to pay for all my own flights and accommodation when I would really struggle to do so.

She has a job and I don't, she buys friends presents but never buys me any.

I've never asked anything from her financially for 3 years, apart from one time I asked her to pay for food and she refused to. Whereas the money I've spent in buying her presents would be at least $100 maybe $200 in total in the time we've been together.

The real question here, is should I expect her to pay for flights to see each other? ($1000)

Is it fair that I alone should have the burden of paying for my flights?

If the situation was reversed I would have no problem paying for her flights, maybe it's because I'm a man?

This happened once a few months ago when we had a threesome, but now my boyfriend wants me to have sex with his friend again.

She says that it makes her feel good when other guys are attracted to her. I got mad at her and she said I need to understand that it's because of her low self esteem.

I don't think that matters at all, it's just an excuse, she shouldn't be trying to get other guys to like her, because she should only be concerned with me, i need help and advice from girls and guys alike.

Now, I'm an avid porn user, and always have been, I love my porn.

However, I love my wife more of course, and I have deleted all my history, all my porn bookmarks (of which there were over 100 dating back years), but they still show up in the suggestions...

How do I amputate them permanently so that they never get suggested, my wife hates porn but idc about that, I'm more concerned about her having to explain it to her family.

IF they both have contraception to stop kids, then what moral reasons are there for two consenting adults not to have sex?

Brothers and sisters for example.

I was straight because i was always taught being gay was bad, at age 14 I read a lot, and stopped being homophobic, at age 15 I tried to turn myself gay, at age 16 I became bisexual.

For me it was a conscious choice, why sexually cut myself off from half of the population?

I'm now pansexual, and I don't know why monosexualities would exist, especially homosexuality.

This is a question for the psychologists.

The human body is the human body, get over it, seeing naked people growing up isn't going to kill you or cause you harm, unless you've been conditioned to feel harmed by it.

Seeing a penis or vagina isn't going to hurt a child, yeah I know how taboo and dangerous it is to say this, and most people will be too scared to speak up even if they have the same views, but this is an understanding I have came to, and I know that our society has got it wrong.

We don't have an equal society, women aren't allowed to be topless and breasts don't even have sexual function, women are judged for breastfeeding, and told it's either disgusting or that they're sexually abusing their kids.

This is what I mean by the schizophrenic attitude our society has towards sex, it's all fear and judgement with very few people willing to stand up for what they believe in.

It is something that can be abused, yes, but that doesn't make all sexual expression harmful. I would argue that making us all grow up with this idea that sex is something to be hidden actually causes more harm.

Why can't sex be an expression of intimacy, why do we have to taint it with this fear that it's dirty, simply because our parents passed that religion down to us?

Why don't we take responsibility and educate our children properly, without this stupid fear?

I want to burn a TV series onto DVDs to work on an old fashioned DVD player, is it possible without 1-2 episodes per disc? Can I fit maybe 4 or 5 per disc?

(preferably without an excessive amount of process power recoding, but any solutions will be valued)

I am bisexual, and I got a boyfriend last week, so 2 days ago I told my mum,

today she has packed all my stuff in bags and has told me she is kicking me out because she didn't raise me to be gay

(though she wasn't as polite as I have phrased it)

Is there any uk discrimination law against this?

I don't of course[own anything of the sort] since I was not abused as a child,

However, I know that some loop hole laws are stupid,

And that even though it would seem a victimless crime to own material of ones self as a child,

(i.e. no children apart from myself would have been exploited)

I was wondering if this would be illegal, and if so, could someone explain to me why it should be illegal,

And why it would be morally unacceptable.

(because really thinking about it, I don't think that it should be)

yesterday I did 100 push ups, and after waking up I cant bend my arms fully without quite i lot of pain lol

I was wondering why this was, and if I am doing it wrong.
