I have to write an essay for school about a movie that we watched in class. The movie was inspired by true events.

Can a use literary present tense, or should i use past tense because the events really happened in the past?

I made a video that i want to show at a party. The video is a .mov file on a flashdrive, but I only have a PC to play it though.

How I play this .mov file through my PC? are there converting sites I can use for free? Is there anything else I can do?

So im trying to write a short story, and i liked the idea of the name "Dusty" for a character. But i dont want to use it exactly. Perhaps a spelling change or something sort of like it but not, (ive seen "Dustine")

A couple of years ago (perhaps 4 or 5, but I'm not sure) there was a show on ABC Family that was about a man who's job was to secretly fight aliens or monsters in this city. There was a girl that helped him do it. She was an artist. The promo talked a lot about probes. There was only one or two seasons before it was canceled. I think it might have been called "minutemen" or something like that.

I'm trying to add a photo to a blank layer in Photoshop. The photo is colored, but when i duplicate it to the other layer, it becomes black and white. What is wrong?

I finished reading Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix a few days ago and i remember coming across a quote in one of the last few chapters of the book that i really liked, but i didnt write it down, thinking i would remember it later. Well i dont, and now i cant find it! All i remember about the quote was that it ended in 3 listed words. ("....word, word, word.")

Today's google widget is the guitar and people are playing really cool songs on it using the keyboard. But how do you do it? There is only a record button under the guitar, not a keyboard. When i just try to use the keyboard, it goes to searching, even if im not clicked in the search bar. Its probably somthing really simple, but i cannot figure out how to do it.

what is it called when a noun acts as an adjective in describing another noun? like in "dog house" or "school bus"?

Ive heard of people calling their house something like "echo base" or "mammoth caves" and i thought this was such a cute idea that i wanted to find a creative name for my house.

I would love something that is nerdy, or maybe scifi. Any suggestions?

PS: ive thought of names like "The Institution" and "The Refuge". What are your opinions on these?

i remember reading a book in 6th grade that i really liked, but i dont remember what is was called.

I know it was a bout a boy who was really big and he became friends with this crippled boy. the crippled boy said that his body was too small for his organs or somthing and the doctors were gonna build him a super-cool big robot body to fix the problem, and when he gets his new body he was gonna be able to do a bunch of stuff. there was a lot of Lord of the Ring or King Author references. And i remember at one point in the book the Big kid's father came and kidnapped him, and the crippled boy died at the end of the book.

I downloaded a bunch of songs online and put them into the My Music folder on my computer. I want to put these songs into my itunes library.

I tryed going into itunes and using file>add folder to library. But when i find my folder and click "select folder" nothing happens and the songs arent added to my library.

The songs are currently in the Mpeg-3 file format.

How do i get the songs into my itunes library?

Do i have to convert the files? if so, how?

Please help!

I downloaded a bunch of songs using listentoyuoutube.com which pulls the audio off of videos and gives it to you as a downloadable mp3. i put all the song files into a folder and tryed to put them into my itunes library by used the file>add folder to library command, but the files dont go into the library. after i find the file and click "select folder" the menu goes away and itunes does nothing. the song files say that they are "mpeg layer 3 audio". if you have any idea on how to fix this please help! thanks in advance!

Lately a Kaspersky Anti-Virus: License notification has been popping up on my screen. It says that my license had expired and i need to either renew the license or purchase a license. I do not want this program so i just exit out of the notification, but it keeps coming back. How do i get rid of it and stop it from continuing to notify me.
