Do you believe that Western countries should be involved in fighting the rise of ISIS in the Middle East?
Or do you believe that it's strictly a Middle Eastern concern.
This is for school, so if you don't mind including a very short explanation of why or why not, as well as what country you're from, that would be amazing.
Thank you!

2 AnswersPhysics7 years agoSomeone spoke to me in a dream?
Let me start off by saying that I'm not a super spiritual person. I do believe in God but I'm not someone who usually practices my beliefs and I do have my doubts.
So anyway, for as long as I can remember I've had what I can only call psychic dreams, where something completely random that I dreamt about would happen the next day. I was skeptical to believe that they were anything until lately when it began to happen practically every night.
I've also had the ability to lucid dream for my entire life without trying. If this makes sense, I'm always conscious in my dreams so I can think like I would if I was awake during them.
Now to the point - a couple of nights ago I had the most vivid, realistic dream that my Grandfather passed away. I've never experienced a dream so real and clear before, the entire dream stuck with me for the rest of the day. Last night I had a very similar dream, and while my Grandpa was sick, I was thinking to myself "What's wrong with him?" And then the answer just came to me. I didn't hear it actually be said but at the same time I knew it was coming from somebody. Whenever I would think of a question, the answer would just come to me.
I don't know if what I'm saying makes any sense but I'm honestly so freaked out right now, what do I do? Who was it?? You're all probably going to think I'm insane but I know for sure it wasn't just a dream.
Thank you
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoOpinions on rook piercings?
Do you think they look trashy or nice? If you're wondering what they are.... http://screenedsilver.blogspot.com.au/2012/09/the-...
Also, do you think it'd look strange if I wore only a rook piercing with nothing else on my ears?
4 AnswersOther - Skin & Body7 years agoWhat are some examples of inequality regarding people with mental illnesses?
I have to give a presentation on 'inequalities and differences' and got assigned the topic of mental illness. I've been looking everywhere for information but I haven't really found too much yet. Any ideas would be much appreciated!
Thanks :)
1 AnswerMental Health7 years agoI haven't had my period in 7 weeks?
I'm a virgin so I know that I'm definitely not pregnant, and I've had my period for about 5 years so it's not that I'm just starting on my period and it's a bit irregular...
The last time I got my period was the 3rd of March and it's now the 21st of April.
On around 2nd of April I started taking 5mg of lexapro daily for my anxiety so I'm wondering if it could be that making me late... If not, what is it??
Thanks

4 AnswersPolls & Surveys7 years agoHow to draw this graph?
3y - 2x - 7 = 0
I know you've got to rearrange it first, and when I tried I got y = -2/3 +7/3 but I checked the answers and the line slopes with a positive gradient so I think I did something wrong.
How do I rearrange this equation and how do I find other points on that line to plot it out? Thanks
1 AnswerMathematics7 years agoDeath rates of congenital heart disease?
A close friend of mine was born with something wrong with his heart, I'm not sure exactly what but I do know it's pretty serious since he's had quite a few open heart surgeries in his life and he's only 16.
I always just assumed that after his latest surgery a couple of years ago, everything would be alright with him. But recently I've been reading up in congenital heart disease and I've found that people often pass away quite young even when they're had surgery/medication/whatever to treat their illness.
Now I'm really worrying, so how common is it for people aged 15-30 to pass away from congenital heart disease? Thanks
4 AnswersHeart Diseases7 years agoHow to stop my voice from shaking whilst public speaking?
I suffer from social anxiety, so oral presentations are always really daunting for me. But the one thing that makes it worse for me is my voice shaking. It happens REALLY badly, so everyone notices and comments on it. It happens every single time and I think the thing that makes me more nervous is knowing that it's going to happen.
I've got a presentation coming up this week so how do I prevent my voice from shaking? Or at least make it less noticeable?
Thanks!
2 AnswersPrimary & Secondary Education7 years agoI was so badly effected by the death of someone that I hardly knew?
At the end of January, a girl who used to go to my school passed away from cancer.
She was four year older than me, so I barely knew her. But she was fairly close friends with my brother and so I saw her every now and then and she was always so kind to me.
Anyway, when she passed away it had been almost a year since I had seen her. I wasn't really close with her at all but ever since she died I've been absolutely devastated. I guess the fact that she was so young plays a part in why I'm so upset but still.... I find myself thinking about her all the time and sometimes I just so overwhelmed that I cry for hours on end.
Please, why am I so badly effected by her death and how do I move on with my life?
Thank you all xxx
2 AnswersMental Health7 years agoPeople keep calling me innocent - is that a good or bad thing?
Every single person I know has told me that I'm innocent, I literally get called it every day. Even people that I've never spoken to seem to think that I'm innocent for some reason. I really don't get it, people don't say it in a negative way but it's really starting to get on my nerves.
So what does it mean to be 'innocent' and it it a good or bad quality to have?
Thanks :)
4 AnswersFriends7 years agoCan you see a holter monitor through clothing?
I'm getting a holter monitor put on tomorrow, and my doctor told me that she wants me to wear it to school so the results will come out accurate.
My school has a strict uniform, usually it's a dress but I'm planning on wearing my PE uniform which is basically just a polo t shirt and shorts.
I'm wondering if there are any wires that will poke out the top of my shirt collar, and also will the wires across my stomach poke out of my shirt?
Thanks :)
1 AnswerHeart Diseases7 years agoWhy are atheists so offended by the idea of religion?
Why are (most) atheists so offended by anything even slightly religious? Like, the other day in class, my English teacher told us that the shortest sentence in the bible was only 2 words long. It wasn't mean to be a religious comment at all, it was just a fitting example to what she was talking about. One of the kids in my class had a massive sook about how she was forcing religion upon him and how the idea of a God is stupid etc. I'm not saying he has to believe in God but why did he have to get so defensive over something he doesn't believe in??
Also, why do atheists go out of their way to prove religious people wrong/insult them instead of just letting them believe what they want?
I'm not trying to force my beliefs onto you guys or anything, but I'm genuinely curious as to why so many atheists get upset over something that doesn't involve them.
Thanks
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhat could this mean?
Okay so I'm probably reading too far into this because I'm a wishful thinker but anyway... Let's call the guy I like Jim
I was chatting with Jim's best friend, and out of know where he asked me if I would ever date Jim. I was kind of surprised by the question and so I replied with "I don't really know him that well so I'm not too sure"
Jim's best friend went on to tell me that Jim was awesome and I should definitely get to know him, and then proceeded to list every good feature that Jim has in a lot of detail
???????
3 AnswersSingles & Dating7 years agoI just can't get over this guy?
I'm 15 years old and have liked the same guy since I was 12. I absolutely cannot get my mind off him, I'm completely infatuated with the thought of him.
The thing is I know we would never be a couple as much as I would love for it to happen. We are pretty good friends but it's just awkward for me while I stile like him so much
I've tried so hard to get over him, I've made myself extremely close with other guys but it's just not working :/ How do I move on?
4 AnswersSingles & Dating7 years agoNatural looking makeup products?
My school is fairly strict on makeup, but most people I know still wear it and get away with it.
I want to start wearing makeup with year (10th grade) but most of the stuff I already own is fairly heavy.
I'm going shopping today and I'm wondering if anyone could recommend for me the most natural looking products (preferably drugstore) that they know of.
I think all I want is some kind of product to even out my skin tone (foundation, bb cream or tinted moisturiser), a mascara and a light blush.
Thank you :)

3 AnswersWomen's Health7 years agoI'm having the most extreme mood swings?
I'm a 15 year old girl who has suffered from clinical depression and anxiety since I was 9 years old.
Lately I have been having the most ridiculous mood swings, I wake up feeling amazing and then one tiny thing just sets me into the deepest feelings of sadness I've ever felt. Like literally, all I can do is cry and cry and cry and I feel like nothing is ever going to be good again, and then one tiny little good thing happens and I feel incredible again, and all I want to do is run around and dance. This has been happening like 5-10 times a day for a few weeks now and I feel like I am going insane, I can't keep up with it anymore.
Please does anybody know what this could be?
