Currently just got a job at 20$ an hour, thinking of saving up to get about $10,000 before I move out..

If rent + utilites will be around $1,000-$1,300 a month I will still have approx around 8,000-9,000 in my account right assuming I'm making that money back each month

And if I want to travel a few times a year I'll be spending around $2,000-$3,000 but will still have a safe amount of money in my account right?

Is there anything I'm missing?

So tomorrow I'm going in for a second interview and the agency is asking me to design a corporate logo (which I have no experience doing) timed!

they want to see my design process but I'm scared because I've only made 2 logos in my whole life and making logos is my weak point + I haven't graduated school yet so I'm afriad that there expectations are going to be more than I can deliver.

I rely heavily on pinterest for design inspo if they see that in my design process will it look bad? I don't replicate the exact design but I might use the concept/layout and/or color palette. I'm still learning about design so its difcult for me to come up with outstanding orginal ideas in a short amount of time with no expierence + being timed.

What are your thoughts?

Every city is so far form each other and we can't afford to travel 10 + hours by car or take another flight. Right now we're set to go to Kerla Kochi for the backwaters and Mysta Festivel (we can only stay for forr days) but we would love to

What do you do when you've built up tons of sexual tension with someone and you finally have a chance to release it (i.e. the person is now single) and you both have talked about it, etc

I need help, I m new to web design and I don t understand where to save the html files from dreamweaver to get them to show up on any browser.

So I got an unpaid internship at a startup fashion company about 40 minutes from my house

they re having me do simple graphic design tasks on photoshop, and later working on the website, possible retouching, etc. (Im majoring in graphic design still a beginner)

I love the girls there, I love the office vibe, the assignments are easy, and I really think that if I stick with them I will be able to get a job there as a graphic designer, photographer, stylist or something else.

Problem is this

Im a full time student (heavy course load and i need time to study and do homework and I already commute 40 minutes to school Mon-Thurs

I also work part time Friday through Sunday mostly night shifts

I don t have a day off and between all of this I am studying or doing homework I don t even have friends :(

I d have to make an extra commute which means more gas money and they won t even pay for my parking which is 10$ everytime I go!

What should I do? I m afraid of sticking it out and it not going as planned i.e Im stuck doing mundane tasks with no idea of whether I ll really get a job or not

I m afriad of biting off more than I can chew and getting stressed

but I also think its a great opportunity because I get to do to things I love graphic design and Fashion

I need to make a few tomorrow for an internship and I want to get an overview/ head start before I go in tomorrow

They give off this desperate impression that they need you to go thier school without asking for transcripts, grades, portfolio, etc.

I've talked to a few and they said I could start right away without even seeing my portfolio, grades, etc. This makes me feel like they're only after my money since art schools are known to be quite expensive.

I tried to be honest with them and let them know that I'm trying to save money by getting an AA degree first and then perhaps pursuing a BA and they seemed to laugh it off as if it was some kind of joke and wouldn't really answer my question about whether or not my gd classes would transfer over.

i'm conflicted, I am thinking of getting an aa degree at the comunity college I'm going to to save money and gain skill however if after a get it and feel that its difficult to find a job or that I am not completely confident in my skills and I want purse a BA degree at an art school would my credits transfer over?

I am planning on calling a few different schools and finding out but I wanted to get a general straight forward answer if anyone knows.

Please don't tell me something like $10 an hour or $25 a look book, please don't underestimate my work performance, aesthetic, and effort just because I am a student.

I got admitted to a extension program for UCSD and they don't offer anything but private loans, I will need to work as I don't live in that area and the university will not provide housing. I want to transfer from the restaurant im working in now to the one in San Diego but I need to ask for more money in order to pay for rent, food, utilities, etc.

I work as a hostess not a server and I'm wondering if you guys think there is a chance they will accommodate me or if not what job I can get that will help me pay for rent without a degree

Not like a long term training process but more like can I wear him out enough via long walks for one day so that hes too tired to mount another dog

because I will be giving him to someone for a few days to dog sit while Im out of town and they have 2 dogs and my dog is VERY hormonal, all he seems to think about is humping or licking other dogs in the wrong area.

How can I stop this from happening??
