My step daughter is turning 15 and we are having a big celebration, like a sweet 16 style. Her mother and I get along very well and of course I'm married to her dad for 4yrs now. How should a formal invitation be worded with all our names in it?

I'm curious to know of old wives tails and/or baby gender prediction sites that worked for you. A while back a new an Armenian girl who had a good method and it was something about adding bdays....I forgot. Anyways please share your experience.

I work full time but I'm interested in making a little extra money without having to leave my current job.

Do your kids know your buttons better than anyone else? Do they get they're way even when you told yourself they wouldn't? And do you realize it once you've already given in?

My husband has an 11yr. old that always gets his way no matter what! He's obviously my step son and he lives w/us, it just makes me laugh. I can't even get through to my hubby the way this child does, but I sure am trying to learn!

I always have people telling me to get my toddler into something like that. He loves to pose for cameras, loves to sign and dance, he's super happy and friendly. But I wouldn't want to go to a scam artist. Actually I think he'd be good for catalog pics. I just want to get an opinion. School fundraisers have become so frustrating. Every year everyone, including me, is selling stuff from their kids schools. The thing is that I always submit a check with my order but not everyone else does the same. So I end up fronting the cash for the orders and when the orders come in people "forget" that they didn't pay. Or they say that they'll pay me later and never do. I feel embarrassed to even ask for the money cause I don't know if they truly forgot or if they can't afford it. How do I ask them to pay up????

Started the tradition of dressing in all black at funerals? True that black is associated with darkness and sadness. But how about the other side of black that is considered, classy, sexy, slimming and festive?

In fact i was at a funeral recently and couldn't believe how sexy some women dressed with tight little black dresses and pumps. And the men so handsome and clean cut in there black suits. Everyone looked like they were headed to night out! Which is why the question came to mind.....How is that supposed to represent grief???

My son always says his stomach feels weird. He rarely has an appetite, he's 5'9 and about 106...very thin. I'm worried cause every time I take him to the Dr. they just feel around his tummy and say he's fine. He has a regular physical every year and nothing has come up wrong. He really wants to gain weight but he's never hungry. Anyone have some insight on this??

It's my first year with a real chimney and my kids want to hang stockings but I just can't figure it out. I can't drive nails through brick, or tape them either. What suggestions do you have? Can you recommend something you saw at a store & which one? Thanks!

I caught my nephews who are only 14 & 15 smoking and it wasn't cigarettes so you can imagine.

I am so freaked out! I never in my wildest dreams imagined that this could happen. It is so true when they say that everyone thinks it wont happen to them. I yelled at them and told them that I was going to have them randomly drug tested from now on. WHAT else can I do to help them see how wrong and serious this is??? Can someone tell me where to turn to for help? I don't want them to ruin their lives....
