I ve been going to see him for quite a while, and normally things go quite well. Ive made a lot of progress, however, today we were talking about how I m undervalued by my friends and family ( they treat me really bad ) and he kept asking how I felt about him. I got into a tirade about how people only want money, or power, etc, and said I felt like he was using people for the degree he wants to get ( needs experience ). It was ugly, and I felt like s#!t by the end of if. He didn t yell, or get upset, but I don t know if I should go back. I ve been going for almost a year, and the idea of not going back breaks my heart, but I don t know if I can face him, and I don t know what to do. I really need advice. I said sorry, and he said he was glad I could tell him that, but I think I really hurt him and he won t answer my texts. Please help

I had my ears stretched to 00, but went down to 10 to see if I could heal back down. I could, so I'm going back up. I went to a 6 two days ago ( 10 was really loose ), and 4 yesterday ( there was no pain or tightness ). Now I'm wondering how fast I can//should go up. :) Thanks!

I plan to adopt from foster care when I'm older, but I do want to see how it's different from just plain adoption through an agency. I think adopting through an agency is usually an infant, and is much more expensive, but is that it?

Also, can you give me some info on how a child adopted from FC tends to feel? I'd likely be adopting 3-12 year olds, so it's likely they'd remember their birth families. Would that lead to resentment? Can having Bio and adpted kids work out, or will one or the other feel forgotten, lesser, or left out? Thanks :)

I'm a teenager, and since about 7, I've been into piercings and tattoos. My parents split up few years ago, and we live in different provinces.

My dad is very traditional, and even though I'm a good kid ( straight A's, mostly obedient, don't drink, smoke, do drugs, have sex, or even date! ) he is very strict on me.

I try to be patient, but it's getting ridiculous. After years of begging, he's finally loosened up enough to allow stretched lobes, a helix piercing, a nostril piercing ( took a LOT of fighting ), and a tattoo ( I had to get it where he said, and even that took years of fighting ). I have one more ear piercing he'll allow, but I'm getting really tired of being patient.

My mom is very accepting and open, and is fine with body mods ( so long as they're properly researched, done properly, and cared for well. ). She has custody, and will let me get them. I really do want to...

Honestly my dad has no respect for my opinions, and did very little to protect me from verbal abuse and general poor treatment from his girlfriend ( of less than three months! ) until I threatened to leave and not visit again unless he protected me at all ( he even started guilting me because his girlfriend couldn't handle me wanting my dad to read to me and talk to me when I was sick! Seriously. ). He's still with her too.

With all the disrespect and mis-treatment, I sort of just want to get it done and wear retainers around him, but if he knew it would really upset him...

I'm not vegan, nor am I interested in becoming one. However, my moms new boyfriend is a vegan for medical reasons ( although he CAN have fish. ), and I want to learn to make some foods he can have.

I am at a 0g, and I read that going back down ( as low as possible ) will make going up again easier. Is this true?

I've been gone to my dads for a while, so mom has been looking after him. Today, I was holding him, and noticed one of the scales on his back looked sort of brownish and wrinkled/deflated. It's only one, plus like one other minor one and it's on his back. I'm sort of at a loss about what this could be... He's never been sick before... Any ideas?

I got my nose pierced 29 days ago. Currently, I have a nose screw in, but I also wear a CBR sometimes. No matter what I'm wearing, I take it out every day and clean it. However, I find nose screws are tough to get in and out repeatedly. I think a nose bone would be easier, but I know it can cause issues. Since most are caused by the skin healing around the stud, would it cause issues because I'm taking it out often?

I have a California King. Currently he's got aspen, but I really dislike it. Could I just use real dirt and grow grass/plants?

I stretched to a 2g on May 4th, so about 7 weeks ago. I just bought some teflon tape, and want to start using it to stretch. Is it too soon? :) I can pull on them, twist them, and take them out/put them in without pain.

I currently have 2 comet goldfish and a RES in a 55 gallon with a Fluval 204. The turtle is male, and 5.5 inches, and the comets are young and only about 3''. My poor sun cat is stuck in a 15 gallon with some blind cave tetras. He was supposed to go in the 55, but got bullied. I couldn't get a new tank ( and just as well, because we've moved 3 times in under 1.5 years ).

For obvious reasons, I want to upgrade all of them. I stumbled across this, and we're buying a house ( so we'll be staying put ), and I'll have a LOT of space in the new place. Would this work for all of them? It will be heavily planted, and I'll be using my 204 for it.

Hi! :) I'm currently in High school, and trying to decide what I want to do.

I know I want to be in the medical field, and had settled on becoming a Registered Nurse, but realized I have a VERY high chance of a scholarship, as I have VERY high grades (high to mid 90's).

I'm very interested in all forms of surgery, and have fairly stable hands (minor shakes when I'm upset/scared or didn't eat that day). I'm very comfortable around blood, pus, etc.

The only real issue I can see is that I'm rather into body mods. I currently have my earlobes stretched to 2g (6mm), but plan to stop at 0 or 00 (8-10mm), and with the way my ears are I don't get much of a flare out (my earlobes don't really distort, only I can tell because I know what they looked like), so you can't tell if I wear flesh colored plugs or ones with flowers on the front, but I don't know if that would pose an issue. I also have my right helix pierced (top of ear), but they sell clear retainers. Same with my left nostril.

Most of the piercings I want are easy to hide, but I'm concerned about some of them. I want a third eye dermal, and have for a while. Would a flesh-colored top for it work? And I also want two forearm tattoos, but I know they're frowned upon... One could be moved, but the other really can't be. The one I REALLY want on my arm would just be basic lettering in German, with a quote.

Would these be acceptable, or would I have a lot of trouble?

Hi! :) I have been into piercings since I was young, and have a good amount of info on proper care.

I currently have my earlobes stretched to 2g, my right helix pierced, and my left nostril done. I have QUITE a few more on my " to do list ", including: snakebites, septum, third eye implant, rook, snug, and the reason I'm here, my daith.

I know to clean it with non-iodized sea salt water, wash my hands before and after touching it, and use tea tree oil to heal bumps.

I always go to a professional piercer, who uses autoclaved triple-beveled hollow needles and high-quality autoclaved steel jewelry, so that's not an issue.

I'm just wondering a few things:

1) I use earbuds. Could I still use them with this?

2) What's best to start with for healing?

3) Anything else I should know that's not covered here?

I just got my nose pierced, and was trying to put tea tree oil on it. A bit went into my mouth ( my mouth was closed, so it sorta pooled in the dents of my lips. A bit went in when I was washing it off though. I doubt it will cause an issue, but I like to be sure :)
