I know everyone s different and all that, but i ve had my ears pierced for 4 years now and i m going to boot camp soon. i m worried my holes might close up at least a little after basically 2 months with nothing in them. ballpark range, how long would I have before this happens?

I m a (mostly) quiet, mild mannered, introverted guy and the majority of women that I attract are extroverted, very outgoing, and usually loud. I didn t even notice this until it was recently pointed out to me. I know "opposites attract" blah blah blah. there s gotta be a real reason though.

So I shaved all my hair off about two months ago to see how it'd look and now that it's grown back, my hairline is really messed up. it looks like it's receding in the corners and in the center. I know baldness can start setting in when you're young, but i'm only 22. my hairline was straight and looked good before, so am I losing my hair or does this have to do with me shaving it all off?

I live about 30 minutes away and hardly ever go there, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good places or areas to go to and not anything lame like the aquarium or the coca cola factory. i'm talking places that are actually fun where I can spend a good portion of the day. i'm 22 btw if that makes any difference. thanks in advance.

I got my nephews a Syrian hamster a month ago and now his nuts are really big and swollen looking. they protrude so far from his body that my nephews don't wanna pick him up or handle him at all anymore. I guess what i'm asking is this how it's gonna be from now on? do they stay this size until he dies or until he finds a way to "drain" them? is this a mating season thing?

I was with this girl for nearly two years and we recently broke up. she was my first and only love. anyway, I couldn't help myself, so I went on her twitter to see how she's been doing and apparently she's into a lotta crap she wasn't into when we were together. different music (some of which I tried repeatedly to get her into), TV shows, activities. she claims she likes anime now. we used to make fun of people that watch anime. she swore she hated parties and never wanted to go to any because "they're stupid and repetitive". she went to a party the same day we broke up. she used to talk crap about girls she perceived as wh0res and dress pretty conservatively. now she's dressing and acting EXACTLY like the girls she seemed to hate. it's like she's a completely different person. i'm just so confused and want an honest answer.

Why do some people insist on being as loud and obnoxious (turning on more lights than necessary, slamming doors, loud music/singing) as they wanna be late at night when others are clearly trying to sleep? Every roommate i've ever had has been like this. Is this complete disregard for others normal? I'm genuinely asking since I always go out of my way to be quiet and non-disruptive after a certain time at night, regardless of whether or not i'm the only one in the apartment.

I'm joining the Air Force at the end of the year and I know i'll be going overseas at some point. I'm wondering how long do people typically get stationed out of the country so I know what to tell friends and family when they inevitably ask.

I plan to go into the Air Force by the end of the year and the recruiter I talked to told me to come back in a few weeks for a drug test and physical. My questions are what kind of drug tests do the military do and how long should I go without weed so I have a clean test?

I'm 21 and dropped out of college about a year and a half ago and have only been able to find menial, crappy retail jobs since. (i'm working two at the moment) the only higher paying jobs i'm qualified for as of now are in factories and whatnot. my gf and I wanna start a family in the next few years, but we know we can't do it off a combined salary of $27,000. I hated college more than high school and i'd hate to have to do it again... but I might be better off in the long run.

My girlfriend always talks about how big I am, but I feel like she's just trying to boost my confidence. i'm not against it, but I guess i'm just skeptical since she's been with 3 other guys before and I can't imagine i'm all that big in comparison. so I ask, how big is 7 inches really?

I'm a (straight) guy and i've been considering getting my nose pierced for a while now. the thing is, I hate feeling like i'm following trends or conforming to a particular image. are nose piercings played out now? should I go ahead and get one anyway? also, do they typically hurt to get? I have my ears pierced and they didn't hurt at all.

I currently wear a pair of Vans and after an 8 hour shift, the pain in my feet is ridiculous. can someone recommend me a comfortable, good looking pair of shoes that can be stood in for long periods of time? there is no dress code. I mostly stock merchandise, so I have to do a lot of bending, kneeling, and squatting. also, if it's not clear, since I work in retail, i'm poor as ****. I can't spend more than $100 on shoes, unless they're a look I can wear outside of work as well.

Ok so my girlfriend and I have been dating for about 7 months now and in the last week, she's made it very clear that she wants a baby. initially, I explained to her all the reasons it would be a bad idea to have one right now. I explained that I do want kids with her, just not right now. i'm 20, she's 18. we have plenty of time. she was upset for awhile, but she got over it. fast forward a few days, and after a lot of thinking, I end up changing my mind about everything. I tell her i'd be willing to have a baby with her right now and what made me change my mind. it's too late though. she goes on a rant about how convincing I was in my argument against having kids right now. she tells me she doesn't even want to have sex with me anymore and that it's going to be like this for a long time and how she's basically taking birth control for no reason. I have no clue why any of this is happening. please, someone help me out.

I haven't seen him in about 3 weeks since the last time we hung out with a few other friends. I've gone to his house twice and no one's answered the door. I've texted him a few times, but recently found out that he's had his number changed. He gave this new number to a mutual friend and not me. I can't help but feel like he's avoiding me. I don't understand why this would be the case. I'm a very good friend. Any ideas?
