So I'm looking to start paying off a home in about a year. I'm not sure where else to ask these questions this time of night. So I chose here. So obviously with a house, you need to pay a down payment. Then there is a monthly mortgage. I was wondering how they decide on the monthly amount due? Is there like a universal rule? How many months does it go for? Can I negotiate to get a cheaper monthly mortgage or are they usually dead set on a specific amount? Thank you

So I would like to purchase a thick, warm blanket. Ya know, something to keep me warm during the winter. But I don't want it to be FLUFFY. I don't want it to be furry, fluffy, plushy. Whatever the term is. I want something that won't leave little fuzzballs in my hair and PJs. What kinds of materials could my ideal blanket be made from? I'm sure there are many but I don't know what to type in on google. Cotton blanket? Does that sound right? Sounds weird to me.
