I know you cannot legally be fired for being an atheist (but I'm sure they can fabricate some other reason to get rid of you), but what if you are overly engaged in social media as anti-religion? Can it be argued as a hate-group or something similar for a reason to be fired?

Thinking I might be happier with an atheist girlfriend. I hear some places have atheist "church" or something similar. Anyone know where I can find information on atheist social meetings? I live near Oklahoma City; not too far from Dallas either.

I hear a lot of comedian/celebrity atheists say they figured it all out at age 6, or 8, or 11, or what have you. I am a little embarrassed to admit I was 18 before I became an atheist. Was I just slow? I'm also a little embarrassed to admit that as late as age 16 I was walking to church by myself on Sundays (although, in my defense, there was a cute girl there I liked).

I like the way it uses logic and humor to show the ridiculousness of religious claims. I'm just looking to see if anyone has any recommendations for similar videos or similar YouTubers.

The newest Princess Rap battle comes out in a couple of days and features Daenerys Targaryen vs. Maleficent . I want to be able to understand the lyrics better, but I have no intention of watching Game of Thrones.

Until recently, I never thought less of anyone because of their religious beliefs (even though I probably would be well justified in doing so). I recently overheard a coworker of mine registering for a Masters Degree in Christian Apologetics. I had always thought he was the smartest guy in the office, but now I can't stop wondering how a smart guy like him can believe all that nonsense. I even found a book on his desk (I forget the title) about how scientist lie and cover up the truth about evolution.

I see the option for adding a photo/video, so does that mean you have to have a copy of the Youtube video saved to your computer?

I've been sponsored into a Freemason's meeting for consideration for membership. But they require "faith in a supreme being." I'm obviously not going to lie and say I do believe, so I'm wondering if any Freemasons are also atheists.

I'm hoping to make fun of some anti-vaxxers, but I haven't been able to find any questions/replies/comments concerning vaccinations in any of these categories.

I recently worked with a large group of people from different countries (other than the USA) and it seemed whenever I wished them happy birthday, most of the time they didn't even realize it was their birthday. The nationalities I noticed this in the most was Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, and Portugal. Half of the Italian and French students didn't seem to care either. Is that a common thing among those nationalities?

If I posted an answer to a question that has 20 pages of answers, how can I find it without having to scan all 20 pages looking for my answer?

Google Images has a lot of anti-vaccine memes, and there are a lot of them from different chiropractic office Facebook pages.

For the first two questions I posted, it allowed me to assign a best answer. For the question I posted a few minutes ago, it does not give me that option.

It seems like most of the people who are against it are extremely religious. I recall hearing an atheist speak out against abortion once, but I don't remember his rational.

I see people respond to questions by name, but my screen does not give any user information. I see a question, and an avatar, but I do not see a name listed anywhere.
